Baggy/large t-shirt for your SD doll! I felt like trying to make a shirt for my doll, based on a shirt I have. I added too much seam allowance when sewing it, so it is a bit too baggy! So be careful with that! But the pattern is very simple, so there should be no problems in re-sizing it! Here is YAGI (Dollfie Dream body III) wearing it: The pattern you can find HERE Print at 100%. RULES! You may NOT sell this pattern! You may NOT redistribute this pattern! But feel free to edit the pattern to fit your liking (please credit me though) or sell your finished products. I would love to see what you make, so please share your project or finished product here! You can also find my other free patterns HERE
Thanks, the bagginess should work well for those large-busted ladies. I don't always want to see "headlights on!"
As promised the shirt I made out of this pattern, it works wonderfully. austin by SteamWitch BJDmama, on Flickr
Here's my Suze (IH Mari) in her sleep shirt I made from this pattern Choi Lee's Angels in PJs (4) by Cheri Teleri
Thank you for posting so many patterns! I'm certainly going to try this one as well but add a ripped/woven panel on the back!
I thought I should do something new for my Ringdoll big boy and ended up sewing longsleeve shirt ;-) Thank you so much for this pattern!
@Duma Long-sleeved..?! Well, I've never..! Just kidding. Glad it could be of help! It reminds me of when I used someone else's BJD pattern for a slim/close-fitting shirt and ended up with a full-blown dress!
@Yumeiro I know it was pattern for short sleeves, but when I started sewing I just thought that long sleeves shirt will look better on my resing guy . Next one will be short one :P Thanks anyway!
No worries! I was just joking with you, @Duma - I welcome people to alter my patterns or use them as bases for their projects!
My new boy arrived before his clothing did and I'm not sure when it will..I felt so bad for him being all naked. So I put aside my sewing fears and finally went for it. I picked up some inexpensive yardage from Walmart and tried to make him a shirt. It came out pretty OK for my first try! There are a few things I will work on in the next try. (Ps- The hat is a My Life As brand doll hat; similar to American Girl. I took the seam in a bit in the back for a better fit to his head. If you're looking for it; it's at Walmart!)
Just downloaded it! thank you! Hopefully with this I can finally make a t shirt and get past my block with sewing >.<
Just downloaded this! This is so super useful, and very cute to boot! It's hard to find a shirt that has just the right amount of bagginess....
