Lost/Damaged FM-Anime: Possible Shipping and Communication Problems

They were registered last Saturday, and when I was emailing after opening the case, I told them I would be happy to get a replacement set of eyes. I said, "if you have the same or a set close I will take it" and this was the picture they sent me, being that the white writing eyes would have been a replacement for the ones with the red writing...



Honestly. And before the shop was closed they had gone from barely any negative feedback, since I had bought from them before with no problem, to over 30 in the last month. All the while saying 'I have sent the items' but they packages had been 'lost'. Now there is a good chance they could have been, but I bought a doll and shoes at the same time and those came a long time ago with no problem.

I can only speculate that they either fell on bad times, or they got a good reputation and have exploited it. PayPal and eBay has caught on and suspended them, perhaps?

I am confused. Is this the same person as ad_dollfie_shop on ebay? They use the same pictures that had been on the FM-anime site, but as of now their feedback is flawless.

 

They were Mickey_haha on eBay. They may have changed names to avoid the feedback trail...

I sent a message to the mods to move the threads and to warn them that they might want to suspend the transactions here until the transactions elsewhere are handled. My PP case is still pending although the last email I received said they would refund my money...

 

Oh, sorry. I copied the shop name not the seller's. The seller name that is using the same pictures is dollfie-home.

 

Well, dollfie-home has been on eBay for a year and six months, and mickey_haha was only there for about six months to little less than a year from what I could remember. So if anyone is using someone else's pictures, I would assume it was mickey_haha that had been doing it, considering they were the one's doing this... What PayPal address is the person here using?

The emails I've gotten from them come from [email protected], and the PayPal is [email protected].

 

The ebay username I bought from was "xxfm-animexx" so it looks like the seller may have been running under several usernames.

 

I wonder if someone can report them there? I find it funny that though they said they didn't have the same eyes I ordered...

I have, and she said she did not have those eyes, which now I have found to be incorrect, and promised a refund, which was last Saturday the 6th and I still have not received anything.

Well, my point has been made and backed up now. At first I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt but now I'm done here. She's dishonest and a scammer.

 

The whole thing seems strange. The big selection and nice pictures of the items are sooo tempting, but I paid on Jan 15th, and the items were not shipped until Feb 4th, after I had filed with paypal. I still don't have the money back or the 2 pairs of eyes, all I have is a registered mail tracking number.

 

As it has been discussed in the News thread, if you have had issues with her in the past, Mickey_haha or FM-Anime is a possible scammer who is trying to open some business here through an English translator. Here is what we have so far.

Please make sure to open a claim through PayPal and report her through eBay if you have any issues. I have done both because I was told the eyes that she had shipped on the 31st of December (which were paid for on the 10th) were lost, and she had no more in stock. I have since been told I would receive a refund, which I have not, and I have also found the same eyes for sale under her new eBay name. However, six months prior to the horrible transaction I had a wonderful transaction in which I bought two pairs of eyes with no problem, just slow shipping. One might think she was getting up her reputation to use later.

I just wanted to say that I've recently bought a few times from dollfie-home on ebay and I've had nothing but great business, and the wigs were great quality and color. Also note that shipping has been hectic from China since the beginning of the year because of holidays and the CYN, and I've had packages take over a month.

I wouldn't be so quick to point the finger. A lot of dealers carry those wigs, both on ebay and taobao.

 

Yes, but the pictures and text are identical, and I have spoken to her through email and had her tell me 'I do not have those in stock' only to find she does. She has also promised refunds and not delivered them.

It has been almost three months of me waiting, so it hasn't been a 'quick' pointing of the finger. I've given her ample time to correct the situation.

 

Are you talking about dollfie-home or fm-anime? My comment was about my experience with dollfie-home.

I'm under the impression that these are two separate dealers, so I'm confused about labeling dollfie-home as a possible scammer, especially since they have over 400 positive feedback on ebay and no negatives.

 

Well, since they are using the same images we have to be careful and assume a link. I have emailed Dollfie-home to see if there is a connection. It's possible fm-anime has stolen the images and placed her own text on top, but if you look at the bottom of it, it has the same hyperlink on the Dollfie-home eBay image and the fm-anime website image of ahcatsup.51.com...

 

This is really sad news to hear... I was really excited to order from FM-Anime when they opened up in the News section. They have so many wig styles in more colors than any other places offer!

 

I never really seemed to have any problems, a lost package with free eyes due to her not having that size of the kind i wanted. the shipping takes forever though always wondered why.

If I'm reading correctly, Happy Camille is the actual maker of these wigs? It could just be another name for fm-anime, though. I really know little more than that.

So I explained to her what the situation is, that PayPal might have suspended her account and that there is talk of her here and that she needs to speak with her translator to explain what is going on, and that if she truly is having shipping issues to have those investigated. So she is answering emails.

 

If you look at the pictures on the Dollfie-home and FM-anime eBay auctions and compare it to the Happy Camille ones, where HC has her name and text, that's where it's been blurred out or covered on the Dollfie-home and FM-anime ones. So either its the same people or they're shared\stolen images.

This is one big mess! XD

I'm going to echo squish on this one; just because they're using the same images doesn't mean they're connected to each other. They may be supplied from the same retailer, but dollfie-home IS a reputable dealer. fm-anime may not be, but dealers who carry the same products do carry the same images a lot of times -- look at all the dollheart distributors, and if you browse around ebay, tons and tons of people use each other's images for items they have (a good example of this is korean and japanese fashion images).

I also don't understand why dollfie-home would suddenly made a new account as fm-anime to sell off things. Perhaps this isn't as complicated as it seems? dollfie-home doesn't seem to have anything to do with your personal transaction so I don't see the point in dragging them into it.

 

Someone else mentioned them because of the pictures so I listed them. I have emailed them on eBay and I'm waiting for a response. I'm only going on what is presented.

 

Okay, from what I have been getting in emailing back and forth, she seems like a relatively nice person who has had mailing problems due to weather and holidays. She says she will 'file a claim with the post office for a lost package' and that PayPal should refund the money as soon as the claims are processed.

She does reply to emails, so if you want to email her, it is [email protected] but remember to try and be polite at least. She may just be someone having issues after all, but we will still need to take caution.

I'll go ahead and take dollfie-home off the list since that might just be a "borrowed" picture thing, and not necessarily connected to this.

 

Yes I did tell her about DOA. She wanted to promote her shop and I said that I would post it in the new shop thread. She is a really nice person.

About the pictures and wigs:

I'm pretty sure she orders the wigs from Happy Camiile and then styles them or gets the custom styled there. I ordered a custom wig from her and it had a happy Camille tag inside of it. So I think thats why they have the same pictures. And I think she orders the eyes from a retailer which would also explain the same eye pictures.

Thats about all I know. The transaction I had was nice and smooth. She's happy to answer any questions if you email her.

 

Yeah, she just emailed and explained it better that she did send the information. I was confused because she kept saying she did not have anything on DoA, but then I asked if she was selling by way of a contact and she said yes. So I think I was asking wrong. XD

The only thing that gets me is that back when I asked for a replacement set of eyes, before the asking of a refund, she told me she no longer had them in stock. But she does according to her new eBay name, and that is the only thing that upsets me. So she could have just sent me new eyes, but instead I have to wait for PayPal to force funds from her, which will take until the 23rd at least. Why lie about not having them?

Ah, well, that's water under the bridge now...

So that is the conversation I had with her. I'm very sure she is not a scammer, I've talked with her for more than a few months now. What I think is that the shops just get the wigs from the same place. She explains it in the convo. She's a ver accomidating person and very nice. I just couldn't see her as a scammer.

And her ebay name xxFM-Animexx is a new one, but her old was was not "micky-haha" is was just FM-Anime. I had visited it more than a month or two ago. Like she said, her and ebay were having some problems with personal papers so they had to reopen her shop. I'm not 100% clear on this, but this is all I know as of right now

 

Hmm. I am very interested in all this. I have not ordered anything from FM-Anime yet, but I did inquire Venus about a pair of eyes and she responded to my email in less than an hour or two (I was asking what pair of eyes were in a certain doll being used to model a wig). She knew exactly what ones to direct me to.

I've been having a lot of shipping problems from China lately. A package I ordered in December from another popular eBay dealer was recently declared lost. In addition, an item my husband ordered from China has been in transit for almost two months. Normally I receive packages from China in two weeks or less.

I will be keeping an eye on this thread. Just wanted to post my experiences.

I came across her website a few weeks go and contacted her about wigs, because I saw the mickey_haha account on ebay had some 60 negative feedbacks in one month, but then less than 70 in the last year, which to me implied that the service was quite good until very very recently. However, even amongst the bad feedback there were positives too.

I asked her about what wigs were available in what colors, and she said she could do the wig I wanted in any color, but it would take 45 days to do so, which seems about standard when you compare it to Leekeworld's time. I haven't placed the order, but she was super speedy responding to me every time, and super polite. Just thought I would add my experience?

Also, I recently bought a wig off the Marketplace that looks to be either the Moss Green or Khaki Green listed in the color chart on FM-anime, and the inside label says Happy Camille.
Also, the fm-anime site is no longer suspended, it appears.

I really think it's the China post that's getting her negative feedback with loosing package with the snow and the long holiday they just had.

Like I've said, I bought a great custom wig from her and the transaction was nice a smooth.

 

Poiizu, I'd like to believe that too, but if I remember correctly, many of the negative feedbacks were along the lines of "I was waiting 2/3/4 months for my order!" some of whom got it, some of whom never did, etc. I have trouble believing that the China post lost 60 packages from one seller alone.

 

I too would like to believe that, but once again I will ask, if she still had the eyes I ordered in stock, why did she tell me she didn't?

 

I'd just like to throw in that isn't it against forum rules to sell for someone that doesn't have marketplace access? So whoever is selling the wigs here if it's not the person that has them in their possession directly is breaking a major rule for the MP.

 

I don't think anyone was actually selling the wigs here. My understanding was that a friend of the shop owner started a thread to advertise FM-anime's web shop, but wasn't actually selling anything.

 

Yeah, it's just a link to an outside shop. So if anyone wants to go to that outside shop for a transaction, it's handled outside of DoA.

 

Oh I'm sorry that may be my fault, I didn't mean to imply I bought the wig off the market place from a variant of that seller, it was from someone who had presumably gotten it off ebay at some point, used it, and then sold it when they found something better. It was used, I was just commenting on the tag inside the wig!

 

Kohaku, if she is drop shipping these items as she gets them from her distributor, it may mean she has them listed in the shop with the expected 2-3week wait. Since you have already been waiting so long, you probably wouldn't want to wait again for her to re-order them from the factory. That's one explanation at least...

Hopefully shipping from China will clear up soon, I was really excited about all these colors

People keep saying that they were selling my eyes on FM-anime, I'm not seeing it on the site, and I haven't sold any eyes to Venus or FM-Anime. I talked to venus yesterday but she did not place an order. So I'm curious where people are hearing about my fantasEYES from Ersa Flora being on there.

 

I've only seen glass eyes listed on their website or eBay, so people may just be confusing any colorful or glittery eyes as being from you?

Any any rate, it really appears as though FM-anime is getting a bad rap because of some unscrupulous sellers who happen to distribute and sell the same products. I bet the reason their eBay accounts keep getting shut down is that because people are mistaking them for the bad seller, and so their accounts keep getting reported.

 

See I agree. She's such a nice person who really wants to please everyone. She asks me every day if people are still saying bad things about her and her shop on DoA. She's really upset about it. Now I kind of wish I had never put her shop on here. I know she's a good seller. I will keep buying from her, even if no one else does

She does seem very nice, I was just curious about the eye thing, all I saw on the site were glass eyes. Maybe it was just confusion because of the glitter I hope it all works out! I was even intrested in carrying some of her wigs, but wanted to make sure it was a safe deal

 

Oh! I've never seen anything but glass eyes are her website. I've looked at your eyes before (which are very awesome btw X3) and I would know if I saw them.

 

She told me that she sent you a refund but paypal is taking a long time to review the refund. She wanted me to post this so everyone could see she's trying to handle it.

 

This is more about the Website:

The site is difficult to navigate, is it necessary to have a photo of every color of every style?
It makes it long and wearisome to try and look at all the wigs.

Also I will wait till I hear some positive feedback before even considering order from here.

 

I guess it would be a personal preference about the photos. Some people like to see all the colors and styles on a wig on an actual doll. And of course, it's not everything she offers either. But like I said, personal preference.

I could see if she wanted to separate them into sections, that would be easier to navigate. But I'm not the builder of the website either X3

And if it means anything, I've had very successful purchases from her.

Well, since I'm always interested in unusual colored wigs I've decided to give her a try

I went directly to the website, created a user account - which I note allows me to see the status of my order, something I do like - and bought a wig. I shall be sure to post how my transaction goes.

If it goes well she can expect a lot more from me as I am desperate for several of her wigs!

 

I'm not 100% sure if micky_haha was not her. Someone said that that is her old ebay name.

But they both get their wigs from happy camille. So the quality is the same ^^

Uh-oh. There's sort of a new problem with FM-ANIME. Their eyes (or at least the pictures of them) are stolen from Captured in Glass, an eye shop run here on DoA by a Chinese eyemaker named Lu. And the prices are ever so slightly higher on FM-ANIME...

It's pretty easy to match them up, but here's some proof: 1 2 3

Because there is no text on Lu's pictures, and also because they are bigger but do not appear to have been resized that way, and FM-ANIME has already had some sketchy behavior, I have to say... I think that they're stolen. The pictures, at least, if not the eyes themselves. It's unfortunate, I was really liking the colors that FM-ANIME had to offer... T-T

She gets her eyes from a dealer. She does not make them herself. It's probable that she gets them from Captured in glass. But those pictures are used by a bunch of different shops, not just hers. Usually people who use the same dealer also use the same pictures.
