Thank you for looking at my thread! It has been a little while, but long time members might remember me from previous commissions. I make silk outfits (kimonos, 18th century inspired gowns, harem style sets), usually with a hand-dyed or embellished element. Pricing Kimono full set (4 pieces; outer short, middle long, inner long, obi) Sari brocade/silks: $220+ Heavy textured silk (hand loomed dupion): $200 Medium weight smooth silk (machine loomed dupion): $200 Lightweight silk (crepe de chine): $200 Lightweight silk (twill): $200 Cotton: $180 Full bridal Indian set beaded (choli, trousers, skirt, anarkali, shawl) $450+ 18th century dress set (3 pieces; embroidered corset, chemise, skirt) $120-$250 depending on embroidery and detailing Choli and sari-style skirt: $90-250 depending on sari fabric chosen and skirt style Harem sets: $150-$250 depending on details Retro dresses/fashions: $80-$250 depending on details (eg. one shoulder 1950s sari dress would be $85) I can make custom work, but it will be priced on a case by case basis, and due to time constraints I may refuse complex or entirely new pattern re-drafts, prices for a custom pattern commission start at $250. Payment is due up front, but layaway can be arranged (work begins once full payment has been received). I will aim to complete commissions within 6 weeks. All clothing is lined, and hand finished neatly and as invisibly as possible. Kimonos are more free-size, but the corsets I can only guarantee a fit on dolls I have to hand, which are Volks SD10 and SD13 (I have a pattern and dummy for SD16 too and am happy to work at this size if requested at small additional cost). Corsets are made using hand made felt with a silk lining, lower edge hand bound with 4mm silk ribbon, and hand worked lacing holes at the back. The skirt for the 18th century set is lined in silk organza, which gives it real body and volume. Colours I can dye to order, so your imagination is the limit. If you have an inspiration image or idea (such as a particular flower for example), I can make colour choices for you or with you, it is a collaborative process. Equally, for embroidery I can stitch anything, but for ribbon embroidery I strongly recommend floral designs. Shipping is at additional cost (unless your order is over $260, then it is free) and is a flat rate of $20 world wide for tracked and insured priority-mail equivalent. Slots Taken Taken Taken Open!
