This is an UFdoll body with a kids-sky Amber head, and I'm not sure if the head is too big for the body? Anyways, I've tried to do the face-up on my own- tho I will change the eyebrows into some longer, thinner ones. At first I did the lips with pastels, and then went over with acrylics because the opacity wasn't what I wanted. I'd love some feedback on how I can improve, or on things I've done completely wrong xD Thanks for viewing!! ^_<
I find the short eyebrows very cute! I think the faceup is very nicely stylised but if you want more critique you can always post it in the workshop>critique part of the forum. Whether the head is too big for the body visually is for you to decide - dolls come in many different proportions! But if you feel like you would like something more conventional or if the head doesn't fit the neck you can always look for a larger body. Also depends on how you style them further, looking forward to see how it develops
That's great for a first face up. Proportion wise, it kind of depends on what you're looking for. Yes, the head is large for a conventionally proportioned bjd, but there are dolls out there made just like that intentionally.
Your face up is so cute. It looks very good for your first one. Good symmetry and balance and I love the freckles. It seems you already have good control over your brush. Why don't you try dressing up before you make a judgment about her proportions? Big heads can look really adorable, sometimes they look a bit off when nude and bald but waaaay cuter with clothes and wig.
