Sewing First simple outfit

I've just finished a simple shirt & a pair of pants for my boy, Fânpàn. I'm a novice seamstress, and this was the first time I created my own patterns and sewn them together successfully. There are still plenty of mistakes to iron out, but I'm pleased that my boy at least has something to wear~

This how I decided to style the pants, I left the top hem/waistline alone because I can't decide what I want to do with it. I'm tempted to put a belt on it but...I'm really unsure. There are two snaps here.

Another reason I didn't finish the waistline is...because you can't see it anyways, so it gives me time to figure out what I want.

I think it's kind of funny that I have to unbutton his pants to allow him to sit. Next pair will have to have a stretchy waistband, somehow.

I learned a lot here, and look forward to getting better!
