    2. The pictures you provided are completely unhelpful regarding your initial query but instead of using black just use a mixture of red and pink to mimic a color much like the inside of your own mouth, generally because of lighting it will often be quite dark in pictures or at a distance but if incase of a close up or in person it won't be overly unnatural.

As for the wig, on front view it looks rather nice but on the side view the undercut portion looks rather patchy and untidy, like a partial perm it looks of a dynamic contrast in texture against the rest of the hair. I don't know if that was the look you were going for but I don't find the extreme difference in texture to be appealing.

    3. Thank you for your honesty!

I do agree the side looks a bit patchy (and totally going to fix that with more flocking ) in real life it doesnt look so bad,but on pics it really shows :sighI think the change in texture might Just be due to the photos, its made from the exact material as the longer locks. My vision for him/his hair is post apocalyptic so his sidecut shave isnt fresh, and a bit on the longer side.

Tomorrow im going to paint the inside of the mouth in the colourblend you suggested,I guess that would make it softer, instead of a black hole

    4. I think using dark brown can work, because I use it to draw the tiny lines at the sides of the mouth, and it may be easier than mixing colours together.

Also using dark pastels instead of paint may help too, just brush the pastels into the mouth and then brush the excess off the lips (or use kneadable eraser), making sure that the lips have been sealed first so that you don't rub off the lips.

    5. I think it's beautiful. And I don't see it as a harsh paint job. Very realistic :)

    6. Wow this is really nice! Its a really amazing looking face up! Personally I dont think the mouth is too harsh and the hair is pretty cool as well <3 the only comment would be maybe on the shorter part it looks a bit unevenly cut~

    7. I really wonder how this thread got back from the dead, this doll has a completely different face now!

But thanks for your pointers all!
