Aesthetics First manicure

Apr 9, 2015

1. I finally managed to buy some MSC and try my new pastels. This technically is my second manicure but in the first I only painted the nails while here I also blushed the hands.
What do you think?

In comparison with a blank hand so you can see the blush, I wanted it to be subtle and natural.
She has a second pair of hands and two pairs of feet, but it took me almost four hours to paint just this pair and I'm tired... I'll do the rest some other time :sweat

2. I'm gonna have to be honest and say it looks like you've lopped off someone's hand! xD Those are some wonderfully realistic nails and the blushing is subtle and lovely, not just randomly splotched color. Awesome work!

3. Wow it looks great! I love the French manicure! Normally very fancy but also really casual! The blushing is really nicely done too! Honestly for your 'first' ever manicure I think it looks super good!

4. It looks so great! Espacially the blushing is absolutely stunning. And the nails look so natural. Wonderful <3

5. That nail color is spot on and the placement of the tips looks like a natural position. Great job!

6. You have an incredible talent for the realistic - the blushed hand look like you put a human hand down and photo-shopped out the wrist. Awesome work!!!!! Thank you for sharing your pictures.

7. The blushing looks very accurate and lifelike, nice job with that!
The nails look very natural and subtle as well, leaving them with a matte finish was a good choice :)

8. Thank you everyone :) the hands itself have a very realistic sculpt
I painted the other pair and started on the feet, but I only sanded some resin around the holes I didn't paint them yet.

This one is a bit messy for lack of space, the centre is very narrow.

And these are the flat feet after I cleaned up the holes, there was still some dust when I took the pic.

9. Your blushed hands look incredibly beautiful, I think they look very professional. Taking off excess resin in between toes sure is a very courageous task and I think you've done great here as well. Can't wait to see the progress of your work at her feet, great opportunity for me to look & learn. Thank you so much for sharing.

10. It could be more realistic if you draw lunula (white spots at the bottom of nails)

11. I think they look great! You've done a fantastic job. Very, realistic. :)

12. Very natural and realistic. The fact that the nails are matte and not glossy gives a lovely and natural aspect to it. I also particularly like the blushing. Great work!

13. You should put a nice gloss coat over them!

14. I really like it, it does look very realistic. You did a good job, a better one than I probably could have done :)

15. I think it looks really good! Congrats! I would put a little semi-gloss so that they look a little shiny.:D

16. looks so real! I like that the white part of the cuticles (i think its called the lanula) aren't super obvious. To me, large cuticles are more masculine...

17. Nicely done! I would maybe add a bit of gloss to the nails and use stronger colour for the nails, though. It is very well painted however. :)

18. I really love the nails - the colour, the proportion of salmon to white part too^^ However, I would use some gloss varnish on top of it - to make it look even more lifelike;-) But anyway, great job - considering how small the dolly nails are ^^

19. The hands are so pretty. But as a nail technician I feel the nail beds are a tad to pink to be natural.

20. When I photographed it I noticed it looks much paler than in real life, one thing I should learn for the next time I guess.

21. But it's still a good looking first manicure c:

22. The finished hand looks soooo REAL. Will you be doing commissions later on? I think you could make some extra income:D:D

23. ameiru Thanks, I wish but I'm still learning. I can't ask to be paid for it, maybe I could try offering free ones though.

24. How nice. Well done! :daisy

25. it's not easy to do... I tried with my bjd. So, well done ! :)

26. Wow, it looks so natural! Well done :daisy

27. I love natural looking Manicure. Very well done, lines are really neat on the white !

28. They look brilliant! The hands really do look as though you've just stolen someone's hand, I do agree that the nail beds are a tiny bit pink though, but on something so small it's probably nowhere near as noticeable in person ^^
