Aesthetics First Faceup

    1. I finally jumped in with both feet! Introduced to bjd's last August, I've been learning as I research, buy and customize. Now it's the faceup learning curve which I suspect is a long one!!

      I have a before and after of my Kira, Caramel Lyse Lillycat Cerisedoll. I probably should have taken a photo before the finishing gloss so I could have seen the details better and then added some more depth to the inner mouth and a few more tweeks but we learn from practice. I think she's happier.

    2. She looks lovely! I really like the added definition around the eyes; the delicate eyelashes, and the attention to the tear ducts. It makes the whole faceup look more lifelike. Congrats on your first faceup!

    3. Thank you so much!! I have two blank heads for Adriana, Circus Girl, Withdoll. She'll have two persona and I'm really anxious to start on her now that I've gotten over that first step.

    4. Oh wow! I love this faceup and those lips! She almost looks like a retro/pin up girl! And I agree the eyes are complete opposites, very good job!

    7. Wow! You definitely improved this bjd! Great job!

      This is optional, but I'd add a thin dark red line between the upper and lower lips to suggest separation. Are there teeth? My monitor is not as sharp as I'd like.

      I LOVE the colors you've put together: the face up, the wig and the bit of knit sweater! The green leaves in the background help make your colors pop, too! Great job!
