First Faceup Attempt!

    1. After having my DollLeaves Angelo (name pending) bare-faced for over a month, I finally was able to pick up some supplies and attempt my first real face-up! I've done some sculpture painting and am pretty decent at make-up so I had a general idea of how to do it but I would love some tips!

      I used mainly chalk pastels and some watercolor pencil. I'm pretty unhappy with his eyelashes and am planning on fixing them a little and/or using false eyelashes but I think it looks pretty good so far!!!!

    2. looks nice!! You understand the warmth and blushing applications well :3
      a tip I could offer you is to put some more pink on the edges of the innermost eyelid - like on the water line.
      Putting false eyelashes in will really make a difference too.

    3. Yeah I think I definitely need to pay more attention to the waterline!! I also wanted to get gloss but couldn't really find exactly what I was looking for which I feel like could really help with the look of the eyes. But yeah thank you so much!!! I'm definitely gonna touch up the waterline and inner corners!

    4. Aw he's looking so good! The nose is perfect and his mouth has the perfect cute color!

      It really feels like you just gotta keep going, and take your time. It always helps me to take photos like you're doing, to give me a different point of view.

    5. Thank you!! Yeah I think I'm going to have to keep going tomorrow... I was really hesitant to start using acrylic paints but I think I might need to to help the face gain more dimension! Thank you so much!
