FIRST EVER Sewing Project! MSD Dress

I have never sewn in my life, except for maybe the one school art project, or hastily patching up my boyfriend's jeans. I took an old skirt today, measurements for a 44cm AoD doll, a needle and thread, and went at it.

I just ordered my doll a few days ago, and I'm quite anxious for her!! She should be here around the end of December - early January. So, here is my doll-less dress with thick lace straps!



The stitches are pink because that's the only thread I could find...haha! But they are quite messy...but they hold it all together. I even sewed in an under-slip so her nipples won't show through! ! It's very thin fabric.

Tell me whatcha think! It ain't much, but I'm still so proud of it! I just pray it fits her! 33
