Hi this one of my first posts here, and this is my first doll project In university (college in America) I have a group of friends, it's quite small, only about 4 but we try to get each other epic presents for birthday and christmas. It's usually something handmade Last year, one of my friends introduced me to bjds.......guess who now has 2 MSD dolls? Lol! My friend wants one, but can't afford one (she has a tendency to buy pelts and taxidermied animals). Sooo I thought, I want to make my own BJD, why not make her one as well? View attachment 417 So I drew this concept art. Each doll will belong to a specific person. Most of the 'extra' parts will be sculpted, but I will be using real jay wings. As they will be a series, I have tried to make their body shapes different from each other. We will see if this is reflected in my sculpting abilities! I have started the first, but have run out of flesh coloured clay, so I am doing a tester 15cm doll with my spare/rubbish clay to test the waters View attachment 418 Thank you for looking.
