Finally Returning, Hello!

    1. It's been a while since 2017 LOL.

      Hi I'm Skye! I've gotten back int BJDs after taking a long break from the hobby. A friend of mine has been showing me dolls she wants to customize and sparked my interest for dolls all over again.

      I've owned a MYou Doudou for a super long time and recently got handful of some Teennar Campus BJDs. Otherwise, I really want to get a new doll (still deciding......) and just look at some pretty faceups <3

    2. Glad to hear you've made your way back to the hobby! That's the nice thing about it, you can take a break as long as you want and it'll always be waiting for you if/when you want to return. I hope you find a doll you like, what size are you interested in?

    3. Another reason why I like it so much. During my "downtime" I was watching a lot of faceups and other general doll customizations to scratch the itch, but now I'm like super ready to dive back in.

      Honestly any size that isn't 1/6th. I sorta want dolls of all different ranges/styles. Mostly looking at larger dolls at the moment, but its hard to decide on anything right now. Just so many options, its killing me :...(

    4. @sheepyhorns I did the same during a hiatus I took after Covid started, and only earlier this year felt "normal" enough to come back and do doll stuff. And there's a lot of new dollmakers that have popped up recently (I'd check out a couple newer dealers like Jane's Dolland and MyDollection, they have smaller Chinese doll makers that other dealers don't regularly carry) so there's plenty to choose from. What aesthetics do you like?

    5. Ooo yea, I've been looking at Jane's a while at Tinyfox dolls, but I think I'd still prefer a resin doll. Aesthetics wise, either gothic or very very cutesy.

    6. @sheepyhorns Oooh, you could always do both! Twins or a couple with opposite aesthetics! And TinyFox dolls are so cute, I hope to get one of their Macoco's sometime (the newest one, a moth girl, is ADORABLE)
