Finally finished my first bjd!

I've tried a multitude of times, but now I've really gone and done it! (Software used is Nomad Sculpt)

Here are the two of them! (Technically the only difference between them is the head and ears! Also Vermie has wings)

Im going to be test printing them myself, and I couldn't be more excited honestly! Here are some WIP photos of the two!


Now this sculpt was where I learnt how to cut out channels and create a smooth inner head! Of which I did not previously know how to do! But an older wip,

Would be this! I had absolutely no clue what I was doing here, and the only reason they had eyeholes was because I used a subtract tool and manually made a hole. Which, because I kept 90% of the Vermie original sculpt, was a nightmare to fix!
This isn't Vermie's head but it was how the original head looked X_X
Good on the outside but a botched nightmare inside. But at least in my journey I've learnt how to NOT do this, and it was remarkably easy.

So much changed! (I'm waiting for the house to close before I print anything. I'm so split on who to print first...)

(Please don't mind vale's head I know it's too big here!)

I had a very STEEP learning curve with hands, from mickey mouse to crypt ceeper.

Another update, I had been toiling over this doll for a little while before pulling a no-sleep and making... she

Im going to include her with this same line of dolls because she is quite similar, save for the arms and hips! Shes also shorter! Bonus Mit!MIT!


And as far as printing goes, I've mixed colors, and done all the prep work! Next update will be in the physical world!

 

Tilly is 20cm. She will be done tomorrow haha so keep an eye on here. I'll be posting pictures of her.

I painted her that way, then sealed it up with resin!
