Just wondering if anyone here does film photography, which films do you like to use to photograph your dolls, since they're slightly different than regular people? Anyone tried anything unusual like ortho films or near IR sensitive films? Example photos very welcome!
I haven't taken photos on film yet, but I made copys from negatives in black and white (I don't know exactly how to call it). I'd love to do that again! I also plan on changing a small digital camera to an IR camera since I found a tutorial for that on the net. Do you take photos on film? Do you develop the negatives yourself?
That's cool, one of the reasons I was actually asking is because I was considering trying out Ilford SFX 200 and was wondering what dolls looked like on it. I don't do any self-dev, I don't have the space for it in my apartment. Few different things I've tried: Ektar 100 35mm 400Tx 35mm Pro 400H 35mm Delta 400 120 Portra 400 120
I've got some Ortho Plus that I'm pretty excited to shoot once my camera gets back from the shop, and I've got some XP2 I need to run too.
The photos look great! How do you make them digital? Scan a copy or the negatives? I think analog photography is really intersting. I should get the old camera of my father and take photos I've always wanted to do that.
Thank you, and yeah, the negatives get scanned. You should dig it out and give it a try, it's really a different kind of thing than digital photography in a lot of ways.
