    1. What magnificent outfits! I especially love the painted pieces! Such skill and creativity! :love

    2. Thank you so much for your kind comment and compliments!

Some months ago, I began a new kitsune mask, this time for Rakujitsu. Here is the prototype in progress:

I wish to cast it in resin in the same time than the Onna-men mask (that is waiting since last November to be molded). I hope to complete the firsts samples for June!

    3. Second painted haori is in progress. This is for Rakujitsu's outfit.

I also have the sleeves to paint, but I don't really know what I will paint on them yet.

    4. Oh, so pretty! What a beautiful motif! :D

    5. What sort of paints have you been using for this so far? Just fabric paints?

    6. Thank you very much! ♥

Nope, I use acrylics + a textile medium. It's a 1:1 ratio and you can use any acrylic paints. You need to iron it after, like any fabric paints.

    7. Ooh very cool! Thank you for sharing. I love watching you create these beautiful items for your dolls!

    8. Incredible work, I love this project.

    9. Just stunning! :love

    10. Thank you very much!

Thank you! This is the never-ending project, haha!

      Thank you!

I forgot to share here. The onna mask is in resin now!

    11. Your projects are amazing! :) Looking forward to seeing the finished kitsune mask for Rakujitsu. The prototype is already great!

    14. Wow! The amount of details, the color combos, the fabric choices, the painting.. everything is just WOW! :D It's been a joy to follow your projects, thanks so much for sharing all the beauty! :love

    15. Thank you! I love the picture. :)

Maybe I'm weird, but the unfriendliness makes him quite cute. XD And I love how you painted those little cracks: Makes the mask look ancient! (Maybe that's why he's so grumpy... he's seen it all.)

    16. New oni girl! I decided earlier this year to make an oni out of one of my zaoll Luv heads (I own NS pink Luv and NS yellow dreaming Luv - this is dreaming Luv).
I have made nothing of her since I took that decision. I was waiting to find her a body. Something slim, double jointed and NS yellow. I found all that under the shape of a Gem of Doll body. So now I can begin the work on Shunsetsu, dreaming Zaoll luv on Gem of Doll body! Her character is Ikazuchi's daughter. As her father is a traveler, her mother (that I won't make in resin) will be non japanese, and human. So Shunsetsu is half human, like Rakujitsu, but she is a foreigner on top of that. That said, I have no idea yet of how this will shown on her, haha!

Currently I'm making her modifications. Adding horns, like on many other of my oni (boys and girls). But also modding her ears. I recently realized that all my female oni had round ears while most of my male oni (all but one to say the truth) had pointy ears. While that may be explained by most of the female beeing mixed-breed with humans, it still bothers me a little. Like, Mijikayo is only a little human, and she has round ears. It would be more accurate for her to have pointy ears... so I decided that at least Shunsetsu should have pointy ears.

Enough speaking, here is a pic of unpainted Shunsetsu!

    17. Sorry for beeing rude, I forgot to answer to your kind comments!

      Thank you!

Thanks a lot! This furisode is the one I like the most between all those I bought over the years. I wish I could sew something as delicate one day! But as I prefer a lot of motives and colors, mine are less elegant.

Haha, cute? That's surprising! XD I enjoy painting cracks on masks. It's fun and always a little uncertain. ( I follow uneveness in the under paint for painting cracks)

    19. Amazing work ! I really like your project !

    20. You're welcome ^^

      Thank you demonslawa!

I redid one of the horns, because they were not symetrical. Not at all, in fact, but I saw it when they were already hardened, of course :sweat.
Here is a pic of the unpainted face after I redid the right horn (the one on left on picture):

And the faceup is currently in progress:

      Thank you for looking!

    21. I've completed Shunsetsu's faceup!

She looks so dissatisfied, so serious, unlike Nametsukusu (my smiling Dollmore Seaol-a)... I was taking pictures of her last weekend, and everytime I checked my photos I was "Why is she so unhappy? Oh right, it's not Nametsukusu... XD "

    22. She's incredibly beautiful even if she's unhappy. I just love the way you do skin texturing, it's so gorgeous! :D

    23. Can't get enough of your work, amazing as always.

    24. Thank you so much for your kind comment! My skin texture is always more pronounced when I have a resin matching to do ^^'

Thank you so much for your enthusiasm! :aheartbea

I have already show it elsewhere, but I'm sewing a first kimono outfit for Tsuyu! What a shame, she is the oldest on this thread and I never sewed for her before XD
I already have completed the nagajuban and the inner kimono:

Currently I'm working on the outer kimono.

I still have the sleeves to sew, and everything to iron.

I have already begun a new outfit, for Shunsetsu, for next spring! I'll show it as soon as there will be something to show ^^

    26. I finished Shunsetsu's wig some days ago, but forgot to share is here. Here is it:

    27. Your work is so brilliant and stunning, I always get excited to see your updates!

    28. Thank you @kaschan502 ! Here is an update ^^

Looks like I didn't show it here, but I began a first outfit for Shunsetsu some months ago. One for spring, in cyan and pale pink colors. I already sewed the two short kimono, now there is the obi and the hakama skirt left.

I initially wanted a deep pink obi, but I don't think, now the kimono are sewed, that's the best possible combination. Here are the fabics for the hakama skirt, in cyan and gold, and the one that was supposed to be the obi:

I tried all the fabics together and I feel like a white and gold brocade would be far better for the obi. I even found one on a shop, I just need to buy it now.

As, hu, 5 outfits in progress were not enough, I began one more. For Nametsukusu again, she really is spoiled XD. Another for autumn:

Currently I'm sewing a sleeveless black haori to go with this short kimono, and I will complete the outfit with a simple black hakama skirt, and a brocade obi in this fabric:

I am totally scared at the idea of working with brocade, but now that I have it, I need to sew it, right?

      • x 8
    29. I sewed madly all my weekend on Nametsukusu's outfit:

And painted a small face made by a friend. It will be the obijime:

The haori is uncompleted. I need to sew the lining on the shoulders. And now I need to make the bottom (black hakama skirt and obi).

    30. Your Oni family is my favorite in your collection. I find that everything is perfect, whether it's the outfits, the accessories or the make-ups.

      • x 2
    31. Thank you @demonslawa ! They are my favorite crew too. I spoiled them so much!

Here are news of my two young ogres' outfits. Both are only missing their obi.

      Thank you for looking!

    32. I finally made the obi for Shunsetsu's outfit! And the one for Nametsukusu is in progress. I also continue, after months without touching it, the haori for Rakujitsu.

Here are pics - quite ugly, there isn't much light those days- of Shunsetsu' spring outfit:

I'm really glad I changed my mind about the obi. I think this white and gold brocade is far more nice with the other fabrics than the deep pink coton I initially choose.

    33. Fantastic as always, I love the color choices. On a side note I always have to look up what sculpts you use, Seol-a was hardly recognizable at a first glance  sometimes you mod sculpts I didn't notice at all and make them shine. You have a great eye for this. Do you start with a concept and find a sculpt for it, or is it the other way around?

    34. Thank you very much @lutke ! In fact I go either one way or the other. For Seol-a, I was looking for a quite unexpensive and cute head that I knew I would modified a lot, in order to make her look like Yamaji's daughter (my Miracledoll Baiye). But most of the time I come across dolls heads screaming in my face "I'd be perfect in your oni family, buy me now!"

    35. I also sewed the obi for Nametsukusu! And Rakujitsu's painted haori is also done. Now I need to sew her obi and her first outfit will be completed too.

Here are the pictures for Namestukusu's outfit:

The face on the obijime is a creation by zun from otherside dolls.

    36. Lovely colours, and the obijime face and skull necklace are perfect touches for a fashionable oni :love

    37. Thank you very much @castironteapot !

I still haven't find the will to sew Rakujitsu's obi, but I started a summer outfit for Shunsetsu. She and Doi Kinuko have really less outfits than Nametsukusu (she already has 5 handmade outfits), so I'm trying to repair this great injustice.

I'm trying a sleeveless dress with pleated skirt. I suck at designing sewing patterns, but I hope that it will make illusion in pictures in the end (as usual). I still have the skirts to iron, then I will sew it to the top. I will later complet this outfit with a haori and a obi (also as usual).

      • x 8
    38. Haori and dress done! Now I have the obi to sew ^^

      Thank you for looking!

    39. Everything you make looks spectacular, as usual!
And I have to point out that the combination of the blue stripes and the orange is an expert move and you've pulled it off flawlessly. :D

      • x 1
    40. Thank you so much @Lillith ! This blue and orange outfit is still unfinished (obi to sewn, one day). As is the first handmade outfit for Rakujitsu (or the one for my yurei, Ikari), but I bought new pieces of fabrics and OF COURSE I wanted to sew those first. ^^'

So here is a new kimono in progress for Rakujitsu. Body of inner kimono is sewed, I have the sleeves to sew and lined now. The obi isn't sewed, like the sleeve.

And here is a pic of the futur outer kimono fabric, with the other unsewed sleeve of the inner kimono:

      Thank you for looking!

    41. Ahh, adore this thread! Thank you!! <3:fangirl:

    42. New Thank you @Valdemagra !

I subitely decided that I was sick of Doi Kinuko's old faceup. Well, not the faceup itself but its bad match with the Dollzone body. Body yellowed faster that the dollmore head and the two didn't match anymore.
So I wiped her faceup yesterday and am redoing it today:

I think it needs one or two more layers of faceup (for more vivid red, at least). But it is already not bad.
