I think it's the cutest baby bjd I've seen until now. I simply love my Sweet-Pea.

My poor baby is as of yet unnamed - how could that be?! Mine has the little human ears, but I sooo love the elf eared babies too!

 

It's not really her name... At first it was Pea... Then Little-Pea. When I wrote Sweet-Pea it just popped out by itself. I'm still not sure. It's a bit easier with the older kids - they can tell me their names (at least most of the time); but this little one can't speak yet....

 

Ahhh, maybe thats why I haven't been able to channel my babies name yet - I never even thought about that... I do think the popping out thing is their way of communicating - so maybe yours wants to be called that - all forms of "Pea" are adorable!

 

Hmm... you might be right.. Maybe she uses telepathy - and when I wrote that I love her she 'told' me her name. Sweet-Pea - never thought about that name before. Well - I guess she does have a name afterall.

I've often wondered why these dolls were never picked up and started again. There really aren't any other tiny BJD babies out there. These little ones make such perfect props for bigger dolls. Here is Freya being held by my CustomHouse Nari:

 

I so agree MustangSally - and I just can't get enough of seeing cuddly little Freya in her adorable outfits, she looks like she is wiggling and ready to leap right out of of your Nari's arms - LOL. What a Cutie!

 

MuDoll posted on the begging thread for the return of the Small Comfort. Here's what they said:

Well I think that's good news... It's so hard to understand what they mean when they talk so infrequently and they clearly don't speak English that well. I'd ask for clarification from them but I never got any last time I asked for it. *siiiigh* Well I'm contented that they do know that we want the dolls very badly and that they continue to discuss it.

 

Wow, any movement at all on this is good news! I bet now that they have distributors like Iris who is in direct contact with Mu Doll representatives, its easier to get the message across, and the Facebook campaign as well, Well thats Great news - Power to Da PeePs!

 

Anyone heard any more about whether they're planning to re-release these cuties?

 

While patience is not my best or even a good virtue of mine on this... I think we'll have to be patient a while longer... but no... no news at all T_T

I have been in contact with the company about the small comfort babies. They told me today

that they have more work to do but they talking about a releasing schedule for these dolls.

As soon as I get information on ordering, I will be carrying these dolls in my shop. You can

keep in touch if you want, and as soon as I know more details I will release the information.

There was a Small Comfort that just sold in the Marketplace for $150. I wrote to Iris too expressing my interest in getting another wee baby. I like the Pukipuki heads on them tho!

I am thrilled beyond all reasoning that these babies are on the horizon at last The bjd world needs more infant tinies! It will be a joy to see this thread active with new arrivals for all the hopeful parents waiting all this time

*squeal* I have a SmC body (no head yet) in my hot little hands! Once I get Lori her little head I'll have myself a whole SmC and my dolly will have her baby Straight up Awesome! *dances*

 

Well, Lynn, that's wonderful news. Til you do find a head try using one of the puki puki heads. They make great babies! There was a thread on Small comforts with other doll heads ages ago. I don't know if it's still around. I want to make a one piece jammie for my sleeping head and a pipecleaner body for her so it *looks* like I have 2 dolls!

 

^_^ Well until I find a head that I like She's just sleeping in her basket. Though >.> I am trying to get word on a momo head >.>

 

Hmmm... I think I have a Felix head or 2 too many... I'll go check.
Edit: I only have a sleeping fairy head that I don't need - no opened eyes. Sorry...

Mitya and Guls~ no unfortunately there isn't. I keep hoping but just nothing coming down the line from MuDoll, Now I'm hoping for all you folks.

For those who are looking for shoes for the babies, check out the soft plastic shoes that Wilde Imagination has on their Amelia Thimble page. They have 9 pairs listed for $25. Shipping is high at 9.95 but there was just a 20% off sale and if you wait for free shipping then they're a real deal. THe shoes are just like the soft squishy ones for Kelly but only about 2/3 the size. I'll get a photo posted soon, but you'll love the fit and the look!

 

I don't think Amelia Thimble'shoes will fit small baby comfort.

 

But they do, quite nicely too. I'll have to wait til tomorrow to take a photo. So much fun to have something on her feet that looks babylike after all this time.
