14feb24 - I added (post #7) photos of Angela2 painted and reassembled! I’ve loved the handling and posing of the Feeple65 body for a long time, but just do not care for the huge bust. Having had a wild hair, I ordered F65 Angela2 and planned to try a bust reduction. In the end it took two periods of working on it to get it to where I wanted. Very sore hands both times. I think it took about 10hours total to do this job. No power tools were used. I used a very sharp chisel, Volks cerama knife (in one of the pix below) and lots of sandpaper - and soaking in hot soapy water after sanding. I hope that no one is offended by the headless body pix - her head is away being painted at this time. This is the FINAL shape of the modded F65f body closer up views from the sides here are earlier pix at the end of the first / INTERMEDIATE shape I also gently sanded her nose and slightly opened her eyes: this was the start of the second modification job: the body as arrived: her replacement calf has already arrived too!!
That looks amazing Robyn! I have the same issue with the F65 bodies but I don't think I would be brave enough to mod one. I love it!
This looks fantastic Robyn!! I love how natural the new bust looks—makes me want to consider reducing the bust in one of my feeples just to try it!!
Thanks lots @babezoid !!! I’m glad I worked up the nerve to do it! Thanks so much @LiselT !!! I ended up selling my first Angela2 because I just couldn’t warm to the default body. I’m so glad that I have another now as I do love how the body handles and poses. And the magnetic hands/feet are a lot of fun too. Thanks very much @Chameleon !!! The natural look was very much what I was after for her. I think the Angela2 head looks much better with the smaller bust too. I felt like the older heads (Siean Elf etc) looked sort of OK with the default. If your Feeple65 is reasonably new, go for the bust reduction!! The resin didn’t change color at all with my new body. No idea what happens if the body is older - one may have to do an overall sanding if so?? I feel like the key is taking time and getting the look uniform - more time may also mean less sore hands!! That Volks tool worked super well for the fine tuning too.
I'd have to agree with Chameleon here, the mod looks like such a natural breast shape! Very nice reduction you made and looks like an option bust you could purchase separately with how smooth you were able to get it! Great job! I hope you are able to enjoy your Angela2 for as long as possible~
Angela2’s head has returned from being painted - so I thought I’d add a few photos to show her all back together again. I’ve replaced her broken calf with the replacment part (very quick to arrive!!). My new Angela2 - painted by AngelToast - I had slightly opened her eyes and had sanded her (too pointy) nose before sending her to be painted. I wanted her to have a ‘period’ look - as she will be dressed as a woman from the Edwardian period. closeup of her lovely face full length photo - nightgown made from scaled people pattern
