Not sure how it all happened, but my boy Bishop has become a spoiled favorite. He started life as a Switch Mara because I couldn't find a Rusi at the time, but just recently I was able to buy a Rusi second-hand as an "alternate" head and then I went a little crazy and also bought him a Kiri head too! Must be the magic of Switch! So here is his second concept, in which he started out with an editorial look but maybe then he partied in it for too many days after... Bishop pilots a Volks SDGraffiti boy body. Face-up by Angel Toast with individual eyelashes applied by me. Outfit by B.I.A. plus a pile of other accessories. Shoes by rRabit. Eyes are customs by Tianba. I wish I could remember who made the wig, it was purchased secondhand and I'm not sure I ever knew.
Wow those individual lashes look fabulous! Did you use the glue for actual eyelash extension? I have been using regular crafting white glue for the strip upper lashes with no problem, so I tried to do individual lower lashes using the same white glue, but they are falling out from just the doll moving around in the box...
@Panda_K Thanks! I did use ordinary white glue for the lashes, actually. The uppers started out as a strip glued to the inside of the eyewell, as usual, and then I glued smaller pieces of two other types to the top of those from the outside, followed by individual lashes to fill it in. The bottom lashes were all done individually and I did have a few fall off as I was working, but they held up pretty well once I got the hang of how much glue at what viscosity was needed. The fake mascara (Tamiya X-22 clear gloss with black Pan Pastel mixed in) holds it all together also. I will definitely be using a face protector if I have to transport him anywhere!
@Rabbit-moon Bishop is always pleased to have another fan. @Morri_P. Yes! @elisa_maza did an amazing job on the days-old makeup look!
He has a very charming image, something between a siren and a wizard. It seems to me, he would also looks excellent in a velvet robe, embroidered with stars. But his clothes won me over as they sewn very beautiful
What a gorgeous look! And the mascara trick is so clever, I love it. I can see why you were so drawn in by that face, really. He's lovely.
