Wow! SDink just returned my Juri elf head and once again it is a work of art. It's great the way she shows the base first so that you can get an idea of how the head will look before its done.

Unfortunately I have no more dollies to send her :-)

I bought a head from SDink on impulse last week and I had one of those oh wow moments when I opened the box this morning. Such an exquisitely beautiful faceup.

It's been a very friendly and enjoyable transaction and I'll definitely be asking if I can send more heads to her for faceups in the future.

 

this going to be another "SDink is great" feedback :

thanks to her i'm now the proud keeper of a hound!
who, bye the way is turning out to be areal stinker now that he is the "alpha hound" at the moment and not just one mwmber of a hound pack .

SDink served as an intermediary between L-Lamb , the previous "keeper of this particular hound and also a wonderful person to deal with, and myself
when she posted the doll for sale in the marketplace early in december.
she very kindly answered back my inquiry and my offer , told me that she would get back to me as soon as she had spoken with L-Lamb( which she did super fast since i was on pins and needles about the reply),and a suitable
deal was painlessly hammered out .
she then took on the role of runaround messager for address exchange, updates as to when payments were received , shipping costs , shipping delays(very minor) and all around cheerful support for about two months!
during which time she also had her hands full with a cartload of faceup commisions!
keep in mind that the doll was not hers and that all she is getting for her efforts is a very long-winded feedback and my eternal gratitude which
she has more than earned .
she also should get "friend of the year" for helping L-Lamb, who had limited internet access, rehome some of her dolls.
i obviously could not raccomend her any more than i have above
she is definitely wonderful to work with , a real asset to the DOA community.

Had a great experience with SDink, Three faceups, all were done in a timely fashion and all came out better then could be hoped for. (I only say that since I did not have a clear idea of what I wanted). Pictures of bases were provided, and adjusted to my requests, although only 1 adjustment was necessary. Then multiple pictures of each faceup were taken, again 1 small adjustment was made. All adjustments requested were answered with a cheerful " no problem". My heads ranged in size from 1/6 up to 1/3 scale. They were well packaged and shipped back, priority with insurance. They were better then the photos, the faceup were very even , sharp and detailed.
I am on happy camper, and hope to use her services again.

the whole experience was a dream without a single hitch.
professionalism is the key word here.
order forms were clear , concise and detailed. very easy to follow.
base pictures of the work in progress of my two heads were provided for approval, as were multiple professional pictures of the final results.
communication was exemplary:
updates keeping me informed of progress were frequent as were PMs regarding any question that might have arisen.
the heads were shipped promptly and arrived safely at my home a couple of days later. they were carefully packaged to protect their new faceup and lashes.
as for the faceups themselves......
they looked superb in the photographs and are magnificent in real life.
they have been given new life under her care.
my only objection is that SDink works way too hard at pleasing her "unworthy"
customers
to say that i'm happy with the results is a vast understatement
cannot raccomend her enough .
and hope to do business with her in the future.

I commissioned sdink to paint one of my dolls for me. She has wonderful communication and answered every question I had. She even put up with me being a bit of a doof and not mentioning the right type of eyebrows. Just gorgeous work! Pictures don't do her work justice!

 

She did an amazing job on my boy .. He's the stunning counterpart I always pictured him as.

 

We bought a DIL Rydel head from SDink. He's even more gorgeous than he was in her photos.
