I was wondering if anyone had ever bought merchandise from Mimiwoo, particularly clothing! What did you order? How was the communication? How was their method of shipping? How satisfied were you with the quality of your items? Rate your overall experience.
I think there's another thread regarding Mimiwoo here somewhere. I've bought stuff there countless times, all through eBay. Communication was fine (they write me when they ship and questions are answered within a day) They're great at combining shipping for several items. The things i've bought has all arrived in padded envelopes. I'm currently waiting for some things I bought last week, and I will definitely buy from Mimiwoo again in the future.
I love mimiwoo. I've brought from them many times and its always a good transaction. The items are great quality for the price and they ship fast and communicate well. I have brought from their online shop and on ebay.
It's great to deal with mimiwoo! I have especially ordered shoes and some clothes from her. The communication is fast and friendly, she ships everything out in no time and I was always pleased with the items I received.
I've ordered shoes a couple of times. They look better in person than on her pics, I loved them. They came by regular air mail but luckily I didn't have any problems, and shipping is fast enough. I'll definitely buy there again.
I've ordered so much stuff from there I really can't list it all here ^^; But everytime shipping has been good, I never had the need to email or message them, and everything is well packaged. ^^
I'm another one who has ordered tons of stuff from Mimiwoo and as a matter of fact, I just got a package from her today. Today's order was: a copy of Dollybird (sealed in plastic and in perfect, unread condition); a pair of white leather MSD pants (I can't say enough about these...they are butter soft and GORGEOUS!); one pair white sandals (very cute and detailed); 2 pair of MSD boots (again, these are very detailed and gorgeous). The shoes all came in their own satin-lined shoe box and the leather pants were packaged with the book and wrapped in bubble wrap. All was sent in a large padded mailer. Since it comes from Hong Kong to the US, it took a little longer to ship...about two weeks, I think...but well worth the wait. I highly recommend her!
I've bought tons of stuff from Mimiwoo, many times. I couldn't tell you what exactly... mostly clothes and shoes, some wigs and supplies. Never had any problems, and shipping is usually reasonably fast considering it's coming from China. Never took more than 2 weeks.
I just got my order from them and the outfit was more pretty than the photo on ebay by far... so I ordered from them again.
Please note that I do not want to say anything bad about mimiwoo because I dont think what happened to me was her fault. I didnt pay the $1.70 for the tracking number/insurance. That is my fault. I ordered some items at the beginning of August and I still have not received them. They were eyes and a pair of shoes so i figure they would come in an envelope. Well, Im still waiting. I just want to tell everyone to pay that tiny amount extra to get tracking. This should not reflect pon mimiwoo at all. I live in the U.S, btw.
I don't think I've ever paid the extra amount to get the insurance. Thing is, at least in my expirience, that stuff with tracking numbers are certain to be checked and taxed by the ebil customs, while uninteresting envelopes slips right through. I won't say you shouldn't pay the extra, but so far *knock on wood* I've never had problems with the stuff not showing up ^_^ Waiting for some things at the moment, too. I love Mimiwoo's prices!
Update: apparently my package was sent back to Mimi as unreceived. I never got a note in my PO box that it arrived. grrrrrr! This was obviously a postal service problem and not any fault of Mimi's. She contacted me via email as soon as she got it back. I really figured this was going to be a USPS problem anyway since she is a reputable dealer.
Mimiwoo is wonderful, I've ordered from her/them several times and she always managed to get everything to me right on time, or before.
I've bought multiple items from Mimiwoo! She always ships quickly, provides great updates, and is just lovely to deal with! I'll definitely buy from her again!
I just have to echo pumibel's advice to get tracking. I never did before because I've never had any trouble with international airmail but my package full of eyes seems to have gone missing en-route. I didn't pay for tracking because they were cheap and it didn't seem worth it but really that $1.70 wouldn't have added much to the total cost. It's nothing against Mimiwoo, these things just happen. (. . . Though honestly the mental image of a random someone else getting that package and ripping it open to find it full of tiny creepy little eyes has been keeping my friends and I entertained for days. It's almost been worth losing them.)
I just got my latest package from Mimiwoo today. It had been a little longer underway than usual (14 days this time) but came just fine, with no tracking or insurance. Just be patient. As long as Mimiwoo doesn't report it has been returned, it's probably still out there, on the way to you
I bought two pairs of shoes from her for my upcoming boy! And the service was excellent! I bought the items off of ebay and the shipping price was good, and the items were sent out really fast. I would definitely by from Mimiwoo again and I recommend her! ^_^

My eyes finally arrived today - turns out they got lost in the system last week and then located again this morning - and I'm really pleased with them. The blue glass ones are gorgeous, especially considering the price.
really gorgeous stuff from Mimiwoo! i got a ton of new things for my kids, and all of it was packaged beautifully-- the eyes and glasses were in tiny, tiny gift boxes! eee!-- and a lot of it looked even better in person than on the models. i'l definitely planning another order from her soon. it takes a few weeks, but definitely, definitely worth the wait.
A friend bought me a pair of eyes from Mimiwoo, and had them sent to my house, without tracking and they arrived in about two weeks, wrapped well, in a nice little gift box. I also ordered an "off-topic" doll from her over a year ago, and it arrived in about the same amount of time. I ordered a pair of shoes on the 27th of August, and they arrived today (the 20th of September). It took a bit longer than my previous orders, and I was worried that they had been lost in the mail, but the shoes are still of a wonderful quality (they're detailed and are exactly like a pair of my brother's shoes...only much smaller) and were worth the wait.
I ordered a pair of kitty shoes. They arrived in about 20 days in a cute little box. The shoes are a little too big, but that might be because my doll has small feet? I'm not sure. They look fine on, though. Good for the price.

I usually get good things from here. I've never had a problem. Only once has an item not looked anything like the picture but it was really cheap so I didn't matter to me.

I bought a pair of white kitty shoes from Mimiwoo. I bought them with the tracked male, just to be safe. They arrived in 6 days. I loved the cute little gift box they came in. My only issue was that the shoes have a little bit of sticker residue on the back. I'm sure it will come off quickly. I would highly recommend Mimiwoo to anyone! Their shoes are wonderfully made and super cute! I love them. I'd definitely rate my experience 10/10!
I just received a pair of SD size red sneakers from Mimiwoo. I paid for it on 9/16 and received in today 9/26. The quality of the sneakers are much better than I expected and I tend to be very critical.I would rate it 10/10.
I got three sets of eyes from Mimiwoo off Ebay, and one set of boots off the website. Amusingly enough, the boots arrived far in advance of the eyes, despite being purchased nearly a week later. I've just placed another order off the website, so we'll see how long it takes to get here this time. Absolutely love the boots, though, and the eyes (which were cheap and mostly purchased to experiment with different eye sizes) came in the most adorable little 'present' boxes. Too cute!

I recently ordered from Mimiwoo via ebay and everything was great ^^ Her communication was really good, she shipped out my stuff quickly and provided a tracking number. I bought lolita shoes, some boots and a few pairs of Vans style slip-ons and I -love- them, the shoes and boots were very nicely packaged in little boxes. I also bought a Miko outfit which is really nicely made, and some non-BJD stuff (anime merchendise!). Overall, very happy and I'd definitely buy from Mimiwoo again!

I bought two pairs of acrylic eyes from Mimiwoo's ebay site. They arrived in about two weeks, and the quality of the eyes are great, amazing value for the low price. They came packed in little hard plastic boxes that kept them very safe on their trip here, and the eyes themselves were snugly wrapped in plastic to keep from scratching. I'm very pleased and would buy things from Mimiwoo again

I have brought a few items from Mimiwoo via Ebay ages ago. I ordered a pair of Glasses and a pair of Cats Ears for my doll Yuki. Though I did receive the wrong item at first (a pair of MSD Shoes), I contacted her straight away aout it and the problem was sorted out both quickly and efficiently with excellent communication. I paid the standard shipping fee for both items (No tracking) and I am from the UK. Both the parcels arrived within a few days of ordering. She is very good and I highly recommend her. Hello, I ordered a wig from her and some Blythe stuff and it was all pretty decent for the price. it was not super nice quality, but it was good stuff at a good price and I was happy. I have not had any problems with the merchandise and she shipped fast.
I just received a small order from Mimiwoo (eyes and shoes), and I'm pleased. Shipping seemed a little high for the three small items I got, but I ordered through eBay and not her shop so it might be different. Things are packaged well: the eyes come in a clear plastic jewelry case and the shoes (depending on size) come in adorable little boxes with bows on them. I've ordered from there before, and the only thing you have to keep in mind is that sometimes the shoes don't fit like they say they will. I got a pair of Ugg-like boots for my Yo-sized doll, and they were TOO small for him, while another pair of boots for the same doll were huge! O_o They eyes are nice and not too expensive. I don't know about the clothes, but maybe someone will post here who has ordered clothes from Mimi. Hope this helps!

Mimiwoo is great! I bought my volks eb mini girl from her and my Obitsu 1/6 from her, I have also bought wigs and eyes from her without any problem.
Ordered red msd kitty shoes, 16mm purple acrylic eyes, black eyelashes, and msd checkered bunny hat on Nov. 5 and it came today. Shoes were too big, but I put some paper in the toe and now they're great. Super cute and the wee shoebox was just killer adorable. The shoes actually make her balance to stand better than ever! One of the eyes had a scratch, but it was on the white part, so it can't be seen once it's in the doll. Hat is adorable and fits perfectly! I would totally buy from Mimi again ^_^

I've ordered tons of stuff from Mimiwoo but usually only through the site (mimiwoo.com) as you don't pay postage and sometimes get free stuff XD Everything I have ordered has come in either a cute little box with a bow or wrapped in plastic and tissue paper and they are always friendly and helpful in messages. I also brought a wig of them once - but the wrong one came, I told them and they let me keep it and sent out the correct one for free! 11/10

Actually didn't have too much communication - I didn't have any questions to ask, so I had no need to contact her. How was their method of shipping? Regular airmail. I think? : Were shipped flat, in plastic bags, in a padded envelope. How satisfied were you with the quality of your items? Very satisfied - both items were on sale, shipping was included, and they were relatively inexpensive. The long pants tend to sit a little funny on my AoD mini boy though; unless they are either hiked up really far, or pulled very low, he ends up flashing everyone, as there is no zipper, just a snap closure at the top. But on the whole, that's not something to worry about too much. Rate your overall experience. 10/10 - items were received very quickly. It was roughly a week from order placement to when I opened the package. Will probably do business with Mimiwoo again, as soon as I need more clothes.
