Favorite tiny bjds

I'm inclined towards mature or not completely child looking tinys, so I'm not sure you'll like mine. I like Souldoll's Lovely sweeter line but unfortunately they're limited and unavailable. Also Maskcat's tiny bdjs are absolutely adorable

 

I like discontinued dz tinies. They have so interesting faces. I’m looking forward to meet with my LanLan.
You may have heard many times about realpukis. They are true charmers. I own tiny lati white. She is cute and sweet girl, but realpuki is much more nicely sculpted and have better made joints.
Dream valley had in winter tiny angels event (maybe you can find them in some shops in stock now or soon). I was lucky to order in time. On photos they are very detailed sculpted for 11cm.

 

I love LUTS' Honey31 Delf and Tiny Delf lines.

 

Second this! Luts are very cute! I think they are even cuter than latis.

 

I third the Luts, but I also prefer 1/6 over smaller and my favorites currently are those by Myou.

 

My favorite tinies are those proportioned more like adults, though I have a few smaller ones too. Dikadoll makes tinies just a bit bigger than Puki Pukis.

 

I second this! I love the older discontinued Dollzone tinies, especially the old BB series. BB Jing is still one of my favorite little dolls.

I am also a big fan of 5Star tinies. They had some very cute fantasy sculpts, like a tiny Hellboy sculpt with a demon arm and hand. They also have various color options for their resins. Unfortunately, the company discontinues sculpts the way Dollzone does, and a lot of them are no longer in production. (I'm still waiting for a tiny Werewolf though.)

But, if you want a great posing body I recommend DollFamily-H 1/6 tinies. I own several, and I love how easy and posable the bodies are.

 

I really love Luts as well! I just got my Tiny Delf Jack the other day. She’s extremely adorable!! The body is so chubby and cute. I’ve really been interested in 18 cm and smaller dolls recently. So much so that I also have a MYOU Doll RouRou and Gem of Doll Alice coming in.

 

Don't forget Blue Fairy's Pocket Fairies!! XD The only downside is that they're like Pringles... once you've got one of them, you are definitely going to get more of them!!

There's the original "baby" body that makes them 14cm tall, the Sugar/Pepper bodies that are a little longer limbed and make them 19cm tall, and the Sister/Brother bodies that are a bit more mature and make them 22cm tall, but they all keep the same 3-4" head, so they all share wigs.

 

Love Darak-i tiny bjds, they're called "cuties" I only have 2: Remy and Tori absolutely love their face sculpts.

 

I own a Littlefee Cygne. For me, she is small cause I like 1/3 dolls the most. I really love her and she has a super cute face!
Idk if I can imagine owning an even smaller doll but I think one day when I fall in love with one I'll try it out!

I have a Pukipuki, a Secretdoll Mong, and as of yesterday a Mascat Feline.

They are all wonderful for different reasons, Pukipuki is fun and cute, Mong has such a real child face, and Feline is more mature and melancholy.

 

I always input the 19cm RosenGarden mature minis (fleur, hana, nari, etc) into these sorts of conversations they're exceptionally jointed and engineered, much better than some of my bigger dolls

 

I love my baby Supiadoll Sena now renamed as Serena. I think the original ones had a more baby shaped body but mine has a little girl body. She is 15cm tall and works well as a little sister to my Iplehouse BIDs. I see my Iplehouse girls as aged about 6-8 and Serena as about 3-4. Being 15 cm tall some 1/12 scale accessories work well with her.

 

Talking about tiny. Just find out POCCA 4.5 cm MICRO BJD The tiny elves looks very cute.

 

I collect 1:6 action figures, and grew up collecting Barbie (and still do) so I prefer mature looking tiny BJD. Which is kind of a pain to find, because most people seem to think 1:6 means 30cm chubby baby, and label most things as 1:6 when it's actually not that scale at all. I currently am eyeing MYou mature tiny males, but I would love to see a comparison between them and regular old Ken dolls, to see if sewing for one would be a pain in the gut, or if they would fit well in Ken clothes. I loved the SoulDoll Little Kimmy mature tiny, but I wasn't able to afford him at the time he was available a million years ago, so I sorely regret not getting him. Mature tinies are not too popular (it seems), so I am worried MYou will discontinue their mature tiny line when they see it doesn't sell well, and I'll once again be regretting not getting one, although this time it will be due to my lack of sewing skill and patience. DX

I loved the Lati Yellow Laches and grown up Laches when those were available as well, but I couldn't justify their cost at the time (I was still in college when those were around). I know I don't do well with baby dolls, but their little faces are so adorable to me. It was hard to resist them and I still regret not getting at least a basic one, now that they'll probably never make them again (I don't believe boys are as popular as girl when it comes to tiny BJD, Lati doesn't sound too sure about rereleasing Laches, and I never saw too many of him around when he was available, so he probably didn't sell well enough for them to consider re-releasing him).

 

Grown up Laches is very rare. There were only 30 made in the 20 cm sized SP version. (I'm lucky enough to have one) There were a few releases of the 16 cm Laches, some of them vampires, but that was really long ago.

 

I know Grown Up Laches was a very limited release, congratulations on owning one! I was just saying I never saw much of the regular or SP versions around, despite being as "standard' as the other Lati Yellow -- I didn't specifically mean Grown Up Laches. I don't believe Laches were as popular as the Lati Yellow girls. I've been around for very long, so I know it's been a while since those were available. (:

 

I looove the Hana, Jenny, G.Yuri, Emily, Mary, and Betty facesculpts from the LaTi Yellow series.
My favorite Fairyland sculpts are Mari (I love mermaids, and my name is Amaris, so her name is a shortened version of my name), Darjeeling, Crystal, and Dony

 

I'm a Comi Baby fan. I have a Cutie Peridot from the summer event (she's absolutely adorable) and hope to get more cuties in the future :p

 

wsp Laches is on my wish list as well, but I guess you could always buy him as a white in the basic sale and swap his head with an sp doll.

 

I wish I could do that, but Lati didn't seem like they were thinking about re-releasing him in any version/size. I have been stalking their website ever since they started selling dolls again, and asked about re-releasing Laches, but didn't seem like they were interested in doing so. I would take any sized Laches (brand new from the company) even if it was just the head sculpt, which they did do for a while but I missed the chance when I had it. Now I'll probably never get one. Good luck finding a Laches of your own, I've never personally cared to purchase one second hand, so I don't know how rare they are, but you never know. (:

 

The last version of Laches that I remember seeing was the white SP Laches in the Snow White release in 2016.

 

I only just got my first "real" tiny, a Doll-Love You that I got for a character. My other tiny is pretty unique, it's a Morningstar Dolls Fransisca. She's a mature sculpt and realistically curvy, her chest and waist measurement are closer to mini sizing but height wise she's a tiny. I love her because her body looks just like mine!!!

There was a time a few years ago, that I completely lost interest in looking for BJD related news, or even coming to DoA at all. I don't recall that Snow White release, so I probably didn't even see there was a Laches, when it happened. Too bad they seem like they sold the White line dolls only as full-sets from that release; I probably would have skipped on Laches anyway, thinking I could always purchase a basic/Sp at another time? DX

 

I want to resurrect this thread to see more favorite tinies. I have two and waiting on two but I’m looking to order again but not sure what I want next. I love my little Lati Yellow but I have to say my iplehouse b.i.d is the favorite of the two so far.

 

this threads a little dead but i have a pocca by dreamhigh studios and some off topic(cocoriang tinies) love the ones that look like little elves/pixies so i am perpetually on the hunt for a realpuki

I have iplehouse b.i.ds, Lati Yellows, withdoll bwd, and Dreaming Doll Honey Elva. My favorite body is the withdoll, but favorite overall right now is the Dreaming Doll.

I have all that I could get: 4cm, two 2cm and two mermaids. And found that I like crotchet for my 4cm. She have the biggest wardrobe among my other dolls.

 

My favorite tinies are probably from Dollzone and my pukifee. My pukifee Toria is so cute and precious and looks good in anything I've put on here and my Baby Raphael from Dollzone has such interesting features.

 

I used to collect 1/6 figures too. And it is hard to find 1/6 bjd that looks mature. Anyone know which brands creates them?

 

I still collect 1:6, but sadly that's not a thing within this hobby (as far as I know, but I don't really keep up with European nor American artists, so there might be some). If you don't mind stylization, and not true-to-scale, there are some semi-mature-ish ones, but their faces are always far too young (child-like, really) looking. MYOU has a 30cm-ish ones, and so do Xagadoll and I feel like I'm forgetting one more that has anime-esque aesthetics, but my brain is half-dead right now (insomniac!). There's definitely no adult-looking, with mature face sculpts in any size smaller than 30cm, but most people use 1:6, because... that's how it is? I'm guessing due to most Asian clothes and shoes makers using it, and most of the Asian toy makers using the term wrong, but I don't really know why 1:6 is used when it's not really a scale that's common even in the slightest here. Lol! DX

 

Yeah thats true, I have only seen one 1/6 doll that is mature looking but I think its sold out. Can remember the company either. Would be great if they sell more mature looking dolls at 1/6 scale for my action figure clothes can fit haha.

No problem! I also wish there were mature-ish 1:6 (male) BJD for the clothes as well. 1:6 action figures have such amazing variety of clothes, but most of my 1:6 are HT video game character figures, so I don't redress them at all (I'm an obsessive fangirl, what can I say). Even if the faces were mature on BJD that were 30cm or less, however, the clothes would probably not fit. Most BJD even now have hyper-stylized bodies, so only a few pieces would work but probably not most. Particularly for the males, the females would probably fit a few more pieces depending on the proportions. The MYOU ones for example fit some of the shoes, but the clothes seem too big (or too baggy for my taste) for the males, I have only seen Barbie clothes on the girls. I want to get a MYOU boy in the future (when I'm not hoarding OT scale figures and fashion dolls), but I doubt I'll be able to get most of the 1:6 stuff I own on him. Good luck on your side, I hope you find a semi-mature tiny doll you like, they are not that popular (or it seems). (:

I love my Tiny Delf! She poses so well and stands like a champ. The only downside is that her big 'ol noggin keeps her from sitting up. I adore looking at Comi Baby dolls but they never seem to have the specific sculpt I want available when I have the cash.

 

Resindolls on instagram has one in 30 cm.

 

Carol from Napi company is a MUST-HAVE doll. It’s really really cute. And So are Mia’s babies.

 

I have tinies from Luts, Myoudoll and Mudoll. I love all of them!
