Fantasy bodies for minis

Resinsoul has one with hooves and Souldoll has release the limited Junia. Maybe they something for you.

I'm not aware of any other companies that offer fantasy bodies separately, but I haven't had my coffee yet so my mind isn't functioning properly. If I think of any, I'll be sure to post.

I will note that Angelheim used to have a fawn boy. The company went out of business a few years ago, but if you're ever looking for a boy fawn you may be able to find "Luka the Pan" on the MP. Their News page from 2009 stated the parts were available separately for a time, and if I remember correctly, Luka was not LE.

bringing back this thread because I'm curious what's the current state of fantasy bodies. I'm looking for one currently, but aside from resinsoul I don't know if any company has any on permanent offers...

 

There's Doll Leaves' Deer Leilia who has hooved legs and antlers. They sadly won't sell the body alone separately but Leilia is so cute that I think that if you wanted just the body you'd pretty easily find someone to buy the head to get rid of it.

 

I think Dream Valley sometimes offers their fantasy beast legged bodies during the events when they are part of a limited doll. I know the dragon bodies were, I'm not totally sure about any others.

I love the miracledoll body, it's stunning! although that neck is very thick... even with their own heads it looks a bit off in promo pictures, and the head I have is on the smaller side
I guess at this point my best chance is to wait for dreamvalley to release something I like/haunt the marketplace and hope to be lucky.

 

On the plus side, Dream Valley usually releases a new doll ever 2-3 months, their offerings are usually minis (they do release 1/6 and 1/3 sometimes but they're not DV's bread and butter). What kind of fantasy body are you looking for in particular? Do note that their necks are quite long and in general the bodies are lanky little noodles. I own both DV's Uncia, Sylves, and Phoenix if you need any comparisons or pictures with other mini bodies!

They typically don't sell the heads and bodies separately, but you could easily sell the head secondhand or find a split partner. Like me lol, I've done one split with someone for a DV head + clothes and now I've been looking for another for Ehecatl. (I just really like their heads!)

 

i'm not sure yet what kind of body I want, just that I don't want it to be too human, as the head is not human either (Hellebore from creature dolls).
I have some DV already, so I know I like their bodies both human and not human (and lol yeah they do have such long necks, so maybe I should try putting that head on one just to make sure).

 

Sprouting Dragon have some msd bodies with animal paw feet. Jane's dollland and Anubis have them listed but I don't know much, if anything, about either dealer.

 

I've ordered an instock item from Anubisdolls once, actually it was exactly the Sprouting Dragon male body (without beast legs) and the only issue was that the site couldn't automatically calculate the shipping to my country so the final price shown for me was like $4000 but it right out told me to contact them to check the actual shipping price and pay after it's been adjusted, so I did, they adjusted it, I paid and few weeks later I received a Tinyfox cardboard box from them and started freaking out since that's not what I ordered???

But turns out those dolls come with a fancy doll carrier bag and have no own boxes at all so it was just packed in that box for the delivery. The body comes wired and is pretty damn good straight out of the box, I ended up redoing the stringing on mine since it had a habit to yank the upper torso to side likely due the knot position. Few frustrated tears were shed during that process but now he stands straight and no longer yanks in any direction so it was worth it. Only downside is that it didn't match the Mia Pink head I got it for so now I still have bunch of heads without a body and a body without a head. That'll likely work out though since I once again have multiple heads incoming and couple are Mia Pink colored

 

Sometimes LUTS has them too.

 

I'm not super convinced by the feet of the sprouting dragon animal female body, but I liked the rest of that body well enough, especially for that price, so I've ended up getting it. At worst, I can mod those feet into something I like more, or see if Resinsoul would be willing to sell just the feet from one of their dragon bodies (which they probably would agree to, being resinsoul)
