I ordered Chelses with a full set (sans shoes) outfit direct from Myou around the end of July, and basically a month later she was ready. They were very patient with me even though I changed my mind about a few things and had to send multiple messages in the beginning. At first I ordered her in tan skin, but then I looked it up and saw that the tan skin is basically orange. I didn't want that for my character, so I changed to coffee. Both Chelses and my JRound David head arrived on the same day (if anyone knows what matches JRound NS, let me know...) I found it completely sad and funny how her useless her top was in staying on. I tried to adjust it after, but it really doensn't like her chest size, so I threw it off. Her skin isn't yellow, just the white balance on my phone got thrown off. I feel like the spare hand part is the most accurate. The coffee skin is very pretty, but... It's like if you filled a cup with 1/4 coffee and 3/4 milk. Even lighter than my Souldoll Sandy Brown head which I already thought was not far enough from NS, it's the most useless non-normal skin I have seen in terms of lightness, haha! I'm still fond of the colour. I actually like the tone of coffee more than most normal skins. If you want a doll that's different from normal skin, it's a good choice. These aren't the most accurate colours but as close as I could get: Myou and FL might look closer in this photo than they actually are; they really do not match. Actually she could stand in this precarious position with her feet on her own, but I had to hold the wings to her. They have one magnet on only one side, but there is no magnet inside her body or her clothes. (????) I emailed Myou, but they just told me to attach the wings to the clothes. (How though...) Anyway, I took many photos with my phone and remembered DSLR has better focal length and colour fidelity, so I redid them in DSLR (next post)
Beautiful photos, Chelses looks so adorable and gentle even without her face up!! I have a coffee Chelses as well and I agree that it's very similar in shade to an NS, but the tone is neutral, neither pink nor yellow but more cool toned. It's like a slightly darker version of Volks SWS. Definitely this coffee has a lot of creamer! Her full set outfit looks gorgeous in your photos. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying it. Thank you for sharing your box opening.
I make fun of it lovingly, but I definitely find that neutral tone to be the appeal. Actually, if I could have all my NS colours with this kind of neutral tone, I think I would really prefer that. I'm drawn to Switch milk tea rose and powder beige for that reason too. They look a lot more natural than Switch NS somehow, yeah? Thanks for your comment, I would love to see pictures of your Chelses too in the discussion thread!
Have always been drawn to this sculpt with her slight smile and agree on her skin tone, it’s not what i would call coffee more latte but is a very lovely neutral shade. Thank you for sharing her photos, please share some more when she has a faceup!
She's so beautiful!! I'm waiting for my Chelses right now so your photos are very appreciated lol. That coffee skin is definitely very pale, but I agree that it's a beautiful tone. I'm starting to wish I got her in that colour!
