can some people from DoA go http://forums.ebay.com/db2/topic/Trust-Safety-Safe/Bootleg-Volks-Dolls/520271518&#msg515890320there and post to back me up? I posted on the eBay buyer safety forum about this person and got ripped to shreds.
I think 99% of these people who do these things know what they are doing. They can claim they do not know it and pull the auction. Then they can always use a new name and start again. Sometimes we give these people too much benefit of a doubt. In this case however she admits what she's doing and doesn't think there's anything wrong. Either way. There is a Chinese term I learned recently called: internet cockroaches. You cannot kill them all.
Firstly, I would suspect she is shill bidding her own auction...18 bids for 1 lousy picture of a doll? Suspicious IMO. I wouldn't expect much help off the eBay forum; the only thing you can probably do is keep notifying eBay, keep the forum aware, and let Volks handle it. Only they really can do anything legal. As Izam said, the seller knows what she is doing and doesn't care in the slightest.
I looked at her one doll listed, that miyu one is okita souji, I can tell because I own the first release of okita souji from volks (SD13 version). That auction is a recast with a different face up. (especially since she flat out says its NOT volks so I can only assume recast) I dont see a photo of the body so cant tell what re-casted body shes putting that head on. Did you email volks?? They usually WILL get involved. It seems like it'd be easy since there is a volks in USA and the ebay auction is in the usa so they can have it pulled i think.
