I know. Right? It's like they couldn't decide what expression they were going for, so someone popped on a couple of dots and called them eyebrows.

 

Thank you all for your kind compliments. I never cared for dolls even as a child. Even then I longed for a tiny fairy. All these many many years later Fairyland created the doll of my dreams. I love being able to create the look & personality of my imagination....with the help of some very talented artists of course!

 

I love seeing how dolls go together so re-stringing is quite fun! Thanks to it I found a pre existing base to add a magnet in the torso! Now I can use magnetic wings

Hello ! I'm very sorry but I got problems several times here to put photos so I wanted to take them off but it didn't worked

 

Did you try on a computer? It doesn't work on my phone, or pad, but for some reason on my computer.

 

It might also be a DoA issue too. There was an announcement on the main page about there being some photo display issues that they are trying to fix. I haven't done much with my duo lately.

Lovely photos, Hurrem! I had problems with adding photos too, so I changed the size of my url from medium to small, which seemed to help.

 

@El BJD I do thank you I'm not sure to understand what means "changing the size of url" sorry

 

On the Flickr screen where you copy the link to your photo, Flickr allows you to choose what size your photo will appear here on DOA.

 

@El BJD thank you so much, I didn't know. I tried but it didn't work better and I still can not put a photo.

 

Aw, well hopefully DOA will get the problem resolved soon.

 

So I’ve been in charge of crafting my oncle’s retirement/travel fund box, and as soon as the paint dried, look who decided to get cosy in the tiny beach chair.

I am a little disappointed. I bought a realpuki Toki last night (I was so excited especially because it came with a sleeping faceplate and that is something I really love for all my dolls!) only to find out this morning that the seller took back the offer and refunded my money. They set a new higher price for which I was willing to pay, and then they decided to cancel the order completely. Really? I am so miffed. (The seller did say that in the future they would sell on Den of Angels, so whoever gets to buy my long lost Toki, I hope you love him as much as I would have!)

 

@KoalaSam - I feel for you. That seller acted unethically. You might want to look into any buyer protections the website might have in place. It seems to me you have grounds for a formal complaint.

 

Thanks vermont chick. I am not into filing complaints. I just wanted a little sympathy as I am a little disappointed.

I really wish Fairyland would keep making realpukis. I really want more of these little folk. I have a Roro who I am totally in love with, and when my life settles down I will take some photos and share them.

 

So sorry for you @KoalaSam ! How very cruel of that seller. I hope you will find a Toki soon. Look forward to seeing photos of your Roro.

Yes @Hurrem , Miss Trilby is very pleased with the gingerbread because it’s pretty much the same color as her hair....silly girl!

 

I had that happen to me when I was still a newbie, KoalaSam, although I hadn't paid yet, I was the first to respond. The seller sold to someone else! I wasn't savvy enough back then to realize I should have complained to DOA admin.

A little late but Happy New Year!

 

We’re having a big snow storm. DH & I went shopping this afternoon, like everyone in the whole state I think. Got home just before it started to snow. Bought lots of comfort food & we’re warm & cosy so we’re going to enjoy being snowed in for the weekend.

 

Glad you made it back home with the goodies before the storm hit, Jonlyn. Curl up with Teddy in front of that cozy fire!

 

Another blustery, snowy weekend. The RPs are busy getting into warm sweaters, finding snuggly afghans & finding cozy spots to cuddle up & watch the big beautiful snowflakes. Little Miss Jozee is all set!

 

Oh my! I adore her...she’s so amazing! And what a wonderful photo. Her face-up is utterly sublime.
