I saw the notice about tan RPs and am suddenly convinced my doll troop needs a tan Kaka or Soso! However I don't have the money... I may order Kali some resin shoes in the next month or so though. Looking forward to meeting new tan RPs coming to live with others on this thread!

 

Yup definitely a titi ^.^ and I am totally getting lots of dolls this event -.-

 

I was really tempted to jump on the tan skinned this morning, but I'm saving my pennies so the next time I come across a Pupu I won't have to hesitate...and the 3 newest members of my family just arrived last night (Tyni, Titi & Aki). I now have 4 dolls waiting for face-ups !!

I've been busy in the garden so haven't posted for a while. Here's my Stockton (Toki), faceup by Ban Sidhe. Had to buy another RP 2nd hand to get him a body, then sell the extra face plate.

El BJD, Stockton is adorable; Ban Sidhe does such amazing work. I really like his outfit too. Did you make it yourself? The belt buckle detail is icing on the cake.

 

Thank you, antissa! 5 of my RPs have faceups or additions like a goatee done by Ban. Stockton's outfit came with another RP and the hat was knit by Wovenflame. My husband tried to make a buckle like that from a coated paperclip, with semi ok results.

Here's Azalea wandering through the iris, trying to find the ones that are her height, but they decided not to bloom that day. This iris is about 5" tall.

I thought I would come and share my new little imp boy Roro. Not too many boy Roros around. I was not sure he would allow himself to become a boy, but I think you can see from his preface-up picture he is a boy. His name is Crow.

I'm enjoying everyone's pictures so much. Mean old Flickr won't let me post photos from my iPad & it is all that I use so I'm frustrated. Still haven't tried to post them from DHs old cranky laptop but I guess it's my only alternative.
As tempted as I've been to order the RealFee pupu and/or soso, I've managed to resist...so far anyway. They are really darling but I'm sure they are way too big for me. Hope I'm still this strong willed once I start seeing owner pics,great face ups etc.

Does anyone know if it´s possible to order Realpuki Ara and get regular feet instead of those brown "things" he is wearing on the pictures from FL?

The Ara basic would come with regular feet. The brown things are part of the full set and you would get regular feet in addition to the brown shoes if you ordered a full set.

Sad day! Thyme lost his little foot I can't find it anywhere! Do you think Fairyland would sell me replacement feet??

 

Hello Xura ! Yes they do sell feet. I've bought one pair after having asked them if they accept, one year ago.

 

Ok thanks that's good news :/ I'm just not sure I'll be able to find it. Especially since I have 4 animals that are all more than capable of walking away with it. So even if it was in an obvious spot when I originally lost it, it may be elsewhere now -.-

 

I'm sure we've all lost a foot or hand from time to time. If you have anything metal, like a crochet hook or screw driver, you could pass it over surfaces and it might be attracted to it.

 

Maybe :/ I'm just worried it won't work because his foot was still in the little brown crocheted boot he is usually wearing. So I'm worried it won't magnetize through the boot.

 

They are so tiny and like the hands so easy to misplace, I'm sure fairyland isn't surprised when people need replacements. You'll just have to make him a little cast or something and a story of an accident until his new foot arrives.

Well good news is both Thyme and Prim had full sets so he's currently wearing little steampunk shoes they don't with his new outfit :/ But I'm going to ask about the feet and add them onto my order for my tan realpuki twins when I pay for them Wednesday.

xura, so sorry to hear about Thyme's foot. Hopefuly Truly's kisses help speed the process. Its kind of crazy that FL doesn't offer replacement hands & feet to purchase like the other accessories. *shakes head*

 

So talked with a lady with DDE where I'm doing my layaway for other dolls, (my tan so do twins ) about an extra set of Feet. Looks like they'll sell me a new set! $11 a pair. Good to know they will do that if you ask them!

I'm happy Thyme will be able to get his lost foot replaced Xura! It's also reassuring to my as I'm currently too scared to take Kali or Hermes anywhere for fear of loosing a hand!

 

i take mine out for photo shoots quite often. i just do a quick check that they have their hands and feet before popping them back in their carriers. it is nice to know that i could replace them if necessary though.

 

I take mine outside all the time for photo shoots... But go figure my worst fear of losing a foot or hand DOESN'T happen outside like I'd expect. :/ Hands you can buy on their website and via Denver doll. If you want extra feet you have to ask. And I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume tan is more expensive. I am however debating about getting extra feet for Prim and the twins just in case

 

probably tan everything is more expensive. now might be a good time though when they are doing tan realpukis anyway. speaking of which i'm hopefully ordering a tan titi and toki this weekend. anyone else getting tan this go round?

that will be cute. i have a tan soso and the sculpt is lovely in tan! i'm just waiting for confirmation that my order made it into this weeks dde order. one of the realfee fullsets is sold out and the rest of the quota is getting close so the event may shut down soon. i wasn't sure if they were shutting down the whole event or just the realfees once their max was reached so i wanted to make sure i got my order in!

 

Can I ask for some Toki spam?

I'm thinking of placing an order during the current event and another realpuki would bring the total up to enough to get the minifee head, but I've mainly only seen his fairyland photos so I'm not quite sure yet, particularly as I'd probably style him as a girl.

the realfees sold out so fairyland has closed down the event early! (as they warned they might do) i'm so glad i got my rp's ordered through dde last week (including a tan toki [MENTION=63569]Xura[/MENTION]) they have all the lines closed for order until the 20th the notice says in part

"On June 20th, we plan to re-open doll lines, with an exception of RealFée, that were available for order during event after the re-organisation only if redeemed to be manageable by our processing team. Event gift will become re-available for order as well for next 10 more days from June 20th as originally planned for RealFée release event."

so you still have a chance for the event gifts [MENTION=61770]Tide N Thyme[/MENTION] but it sounds like the tans are not a guarantee.... (although dde is still selling them) it can be hard to figure out their english translations sometimes

 

Oh my! I read the start of your post and gasped but hopefully the things I want (ns Toki and a minifee body for the event head) will be available again next week

 

if you are getting a ns skin toki you have a better chance. as far as i could decipher their english they were just debating whether or not to allow more tan orders.

Speaking of Tokis. Thyme got into some trouble recently (foot still missing and he's still causing headaches!! @.@) Sebastian ended up stepping in.... Although I have a feeling he was more stepping in to protect Thyme more than anything... :/

Finally working on my Toki's faceup. I've had him for what, a year? Anyway, it's hard trying to keep him a boy when it would so easy to add a bunch of pretty colors!!!
