What a darling hat your Toki has, costleyhobby! Love it! I'd better drag out my RP's box n see if there's enough boy clothes to go around! I've been trying to make rompers and overalls, but they fit my pukipuki & Thistledown better, ach! I did do a mock up of a few felt hats though, so they'll all have hats n shoes, but they never seem to mind.

Some more questions about Realpuki, if folks don't mind indulging me; What size eyes can they wear? Do the PukiPuki hands fit, or do they look too weird? Where are some places to get wigs?

 

puki hands do look a little big. not terrible, but big lol
and i'm pretty sure its 6mm on the eyes if i recall correctly

They wear 6mm eyes and the hands are totally interchangeable. I just switched all of mine and I don't see a difference in size ...

I really love the realpuki line. The new steampunk outfits were awesome!! I wish they sold more outfits or parts for realpukis.

 

I just heard from Fairyland that they will be shipping my replacement wing harness tomorrow!

I finally get to join this page! Yay! I don't have a name I'm set on for this little guy yet but I'm getting close I can feel it! Ban I had the same problem with my little Toki, way WAY too much blush and such... Lol on his white skin it made him look like a clown or heavy handed grandmother doing a make over lol So I redid it, to this. Sorry about the crappy lighting and cell phone pic :/

Does anyone know what acrylic eyes FL uses? They look like Glibs but they have a much lower dome ... I actually like the ones my little ones came with - just not the colors. I tried the 'real' eyes from DDE but they don't fit. I'd really love glass but they are so hard to find that small - anyone have recommendations? (PS: I'm not fond of Dreaming Tree)

Thanks everyone! It IS an acorn hat! I decided to call him Thyme.
He's definitely taking to his role in master of all things cute and adorable!

 

i like the eye shapes you did.

and have to say that like you i'm not a huge fan of dreaming tree. i've had good luck with cig eyes they go down to 6mm in glass with tons of colors both fantasy and realistic. i tend to prefer their low dome. even though they are a little bit more expensive i find low dome easier to position as a general rule. i have some of the new en series eyes on order for two of my rp's and just got notice this week that they shipped so should be able to do pictures as soon as they get here. i've got their regular eyes before in the bigger sizes and really liked the quality.

Ban suggested I share my newly arrived Toki so here he is! He's not quite finished yet but at least he has his face I'm stocking up on zen vibes before trying to make what feels like the worlds smallest wig lol.

In between other faceups I managed to get this girl done ... who'd have thought this OE Aki would be my favorite?!? I did mod her eyes a tiny bit but not much as I love dreamy eyes. I had planned on it being a 'he' but once the faceup started, she let me know (quite clearly) she was DEFINITELY a girl. I'm thinking her name will be Batty (was also thinking of Nip) but if anyone has any clever suggestions, I'm open. I like short, simple names for my pixies. (Mouse, Bug, Ember, Guppy) She will be my 'night' pixie ...

Ban, your Nix/Aki looks amazing! I was really looking forward to seeing an Aki since the fullset has such a cool goth/ninja/warrior look in the marketing pics but it was hard to see the face well. The transformation to night pixie suites perfectly! With bug they will be a formidable duo!

Hello everyone! I'm new to both this thread and the RP size in general.
I'd like to introduce the newest addition to my Dolly Family! Her name is Lillian Fey - Lillie for short.

Heyyyy, meet Pupu! Ok, I admit I wasn't really creative when I was picking a name for him, but "Pupu" really... sort of... "fits" him? Haha
He doesn't have a huge biography like a character but I really love him. Though he is not my favorite doll, he is the most favorite my parents' doll XDD Ok, whatever, he's just awesome.
