I've been stalking all the threads for Realfee's for a couple of months now and have fallen in love with them, all of them. I bought my first one a month ago here on the marketplace and it was a complete spur of the moment destiny thing. Here is my little cutie, shes a Coco and I've named her Lumin.
Greenfaerie, my first Realfee was Coco as well! Your Lumin is beautiful Did she come with those eyes?
I think I must definitely look for a Realfee. The more I look at everyone’s photos the more I yearn for one of my own.
Thank you, and I think Coco was a good one to start with because she is so darn cute and sweet. The eyes are Enchanted Doll, and I've had them for ages. I love them on her! Sorry to be spamming this thread, but here is my second Realfee June, his name is Daye.
Yes, Lumin's eyes go so well with her sweet face. What size are they? Question for everyone: what is your favorite eye size for your Realfee?
Totally random aside, but for anyone still looking for shoe options, Debs Adorables on the bay of evil offers 12" Marley Wentworth flats that fit loosely with socks.
Looks like I'm the only one posting here. Anyway, just in case anyone wants to see more RF, here's my girls dressed up in their default clothes.
I want to see more RLFs!!! TY. Not sure why this tread is so slow... RLFs are amazing dolls and soooooo versatile! (guess that means I need to take a few more photos myself )
Don’t feel alone! Here are some friends... three realfee - 1 by joe golightly, on Flickr Man, what a process I had to go through to get that posted!
My girl has been away for a face up for mooooonths! I should probably be making stuff while waiting, but it's hard to make stuff when I don't totally know what her face will look like. I'm also waiting on a new wig for her!
Looking back at older posts for RF it looks as if people were posting regularly, yourself included, and now, it's deader than dead. Where did everyone go? Hopefully Fairyland will have a new Realfee for us to buy soon, perhaps that would get this group going again. Oh yeah, please do post pics.
I’m so excited! For the past two weeks I’ve been scouring the DoA marketplace hunting for the perfect little companion to reshell a very special character of mine. Once upon a time, 8 or so years ago, I had her in Realpuki form but her character had so much complexity and depth there was just no way to properly express it in something that teeny-tiny. Needing funds to purchase a very limited doll, I went ahead and sold her way back then...and I’ve kicked myself for it ever since because nothing else has ever worked. She was a RP Pupu, and I guess I just never got over the perfection of that face for her character no matter how small she was. Happy, happy news! I was just able to purchase her in Realfee form! I was looking at an ad for an entirely different Realfee and after scrolling down, found it included the Pupu faceplate as an extra! And there I was with funds at the ready! Now I’ll be able to finally have my beloved Grannybelle in a larger form, and I know she’ll be absolutely perfect. It’s like my tiny Grannybelle finally grew up to fit the size of her character!
How lovely to see you now have 4 Realfees, greenfaerie!!! And congrats on finding a Realfee Pupu, PoeticSoul!!! Here's an older photo of 2 of my Realfees.
Darling photo!, I love all of their weapons. Yep, your Coco was the one that started my RLF obsession, and I now have six of them, and wouldn't mind having more.
6! How very awesome! Technically, I also have 6, but 2 RF bodies have pukifee faces. And then a few shared with Mari, plus Coco and Toki sleeping faces, which I'll need to paint this summer, along with the Sira event plate. Here's 4 of them all wearing some things made by me.
@El BJD, what a fabulous grouping of Realfees! That’s an absolute tribe with a facinating storyline I’m sure. They must rule your dolly kingdom. And I think your Pukifee/Realfee hybrids absolutely count in the Realfee realm...certainly I love seeing them here and adore their proportions. It’s like one big happy family where some members are slightly different in size is all. I know when my Realfee arrives, I’ll be putting that Pukifee Pupu head on her straight away!
They do indeed, PoeticSoul, both their storyline and their realm. Here's my 2 pukifee faces, Cony & Rin, with their RF bodies.
Squee! They’re so cute! and I must say, @El BJD your crochet and knitting for these little ones is positively sublime!
Aw, thank you very much, PoeticSoul!! Your reward is one more photo! Here's my lovely Mari, faceup by our very talented @Ban Sidhe
Love them all! and their clothes are wonderful, I'm so impressed that you made them. Did you make their dresses? I really need to start sewing, crocheting, something. The pukifee faces are really sweet, ugh, I dare not go there. Too many dolls already.
Yes, I crocheted their dresses and knitted their sweaters. FYI, if you delve into the pukifee face plates, you need a pukifee connector so they'll fit onto the RF body.
@El BJD, your Mari is gorgeous! And I love that display...it’s positively magical! @Kima, Wow...those eyes! They’re so beautiful in your girl. She’s absolutely lovely. I love these little ones in sparkly eyes. I’m assuming they’re Oscar eyes. Do you mind me asking what size they are? The fit is wonderful.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience buying My Life 6" dolls - I know 6" Lori doll clothes fit RealFee (almost perfectly), but My Life minis are quite a bit chunkier than the Lori minis. I can't tell if it's worth buying any, and hoping/planning for them to fit Littlefee, or if they'll just be small on ltf and loose on rlf. Nevermind, I found it in the clothing database. I'm surprised at how well they seem to fit, though, considering the difference between the My Life As dolls and the Lori dolls - I definitely thought they would be too big for rlf.
I just came across one of my favourite photos of Pano, showing off at a local doll show a few years ago.
It's so strange to me to think that it's been years since the rlf were released - they still feel so new! I can't believe it's almost been 4 years.
@LadyMadrigal, Harlow is such a perfect name for your little siren...how clever! She’s absolutely adorable. @El BJD, It’s certainly nice to see such movement and balance in the Realfee body. Thanks so much for sharing that shot. And my seller just shipped my very first Realpuki yesterday from Canada! I’m so excited and a little nervous too...more than I think I’ve ever been before...despite over a dozen years in this hobby.
I'm loving seeing everyones RLF's again. Pano looks like he's showing off for the girls, cute little guy, and I love the picture of Haru, she is one of my favorites because she always seems to have secrets to keep.
Thanks everyone! Which Realpuki are you getting, PoeticSoul? There's a lovely Realpuki group here on DOA. I'm from Canada too! Here's one more photo of my May in a dress I knitted for her by mashing together a bunch of patterns from google. I did math til my eyes were spinning, but it worked out in the end!
Such a beautiful dress! I love the color and dimension of it. I’m getting a Realfee June, but it also comes with the Siri faceplate and a pukifee pupu faceplate with headback! I’m beside myself with excitement! Coming from Quebec, and then travelling through the US midwest during an Arctic blast will be no fun for my newly adopted little one, but I’m hoping the promise of our warm winter weather here in Arizona will lure her safely to her new home. I’m just so worried about her! I know it’s silly, but she feels so very real to me!
Thanks, PoeticSoul!! How exciting for you! I'm glad I got the pukifee headbacks and the littlefee one when they were first available. Plus, May says that whatever Pano can do, she can do better, lol!!! Those satyr legs are the best!
Yes, those satyr legs look great! Too bad Fairyland doesn't sell them anymore. I love that pullover. Looks so comfy! You did excellent job with the purple dress. Fits so well!
Well, I finally got my very first Realfee completed. She’s a June and her name is Grannybelle (because her mouth reminds me of Granny in the Looney Tunes cartoons...just soooo cute! And her character is supposed to be ancient") She came with 3 faceplates so I decided to paint them all similar to use them as different expressions for this same character.
Thank you! And those pointy griffin ears do wonders for keeping her wig on too as an extra added bonus to their cuteness. Thank you so much! I really wanted to see what June would look like as a girl, and I felt my Grannybelle character just might work out for that. And here’s another of Grannybelle’s faceplates.
Thank you! I usually sew my own outfits but in this instance I actually have a small collection of dresses by the very talented Etsy seller Peapoddolls. I’m a big fan of her work...it is so detailed and she obviously has access to amazing tiny fabrics, laces and notions that I do not. I think her outfits are like tiny works of art which is why I started collecting them for a couple of my Doll Chateau tinies a couple of years ago. Fortunately they fit Grannybelle too and they’re exactly the style I wanted for her character.
Grannybelle is so precious! I love how you pulled her together. I have a June too and I always thought he looked like an elder from several angles. You truly captured that.
Thank you! I agree she makes a great elder, which is exactly what I was going for. She is certainly very dear to me. As my little fairy companion, she sits on my nightstand keeping me company when I’m relaxing on the internet or watching TV. I love her so much!
Sorry to double post. This is my Luna wearing Ruby red Galleria dress and wig in case anyone is interested. Sorry pic is so big.
