Fairyland RealFee Discussion Part 7

Apr 9, 2018

    1. Those bits are fur, not feathers (Papageno has feathers in his hair because he is a bird charmer). The buttons are real sea shells.

    2. Excuse these old eyes! Sea shells are a great idea for buttons!! Here's an old photo of my Ladyhawke (Haru), Afallon (May), Caliburn (Pan) Gray Owl (June).

    4. I love the size of the Realfee but also love the different hands the Littlefee have. Do we have different hands for the Realfee or no?

    5. The boy and girl Realfees have slightly different hands, but they are not sold separately.

    6. There are so many things I wish I could ask for. More hand positions for the Realfees, some of the Littlefee heads to be smaller for the Realfee (I love Cygne look but she's too big). I am ordering a Realfee Toki as I love that smile.

    7. @El BJD :abow: I bow before your incredible Realfee crew! I’ve always loved them, and you’ve presented them so wonderfully in this photo.

    8. Aw, thanks so much, PoeticSoul! We moved 2 years ago and I'm still sorting through props, trying to build several more permanent scenes for my increased crew!

    9. NGL these back to back random events are making me angry, but that purple color is so nice. I might have to think about it, but I really don't feel like spending the money right now.

    10. So it's finally happened. I have just placed my order for the Realfee Toki in natural skin. I've been going back and forth between the natural and tanned for 3 days now and couldn't decide. For the idea I have for her the natural would be better. Now to sell off my LF and start working on wig ideas for the RF. I can't wait to get her in.

    11. Hello everyone, I have a question. Does anybody know what kind of faceup the 2023 version of RealFee Eva would have? Does she have the faceup from Fairyland's promo pictures (the snow fairy version)? Or something different? What's the difference between the 2023 version and the older version? Thank you so much for your help!

    12. Their faces haven't changed, just the connection to the back of their heads has been adjusted.
*But Soso's ears are an exception. He is adjusted to be small.

If you want it face up, other than the special skin can meet your needs.

    14. Can the RealFees on the human bodies sit up on their own without support, or do they topple backwards because of their head size?

    15. They can sit in principle though they may be a bit floppy if not tightly strung. But their body bends forwards, so that compensates for the heavy head:

    16. I haven't had any problems with mine sitting. I posted #908 above, with 3 of them sitting.

    17. Okay, cool, thank you! When I used to have a Tiny Delf, I could get her to sit if I posed her verrry carefully, so I was worried the RealFees were like that. Happy to hear that’s not the case!

@spih Thank you! Glad to hear that!

    18. Oh my goodness me so so cute!!!!!

    19. Their joints are “clicky” and have more stability than other small bjds. I think they sit up much better than Pukifee and the LittleFee.

    20. Question1: Can anyone who has a Realfee Toki measure from the nose to the ears for me please. I one ordered and want to get started on her wig but Need to make sure it will fit with the ears since the shape is different?
Question 2: Do you think the 1/6th scale items will work with the realfee as props? Or would they be too big?

    21. Beautiful outfit, spih!!!

    22. @spih The outfit it gorgeous and the picture is hysterical with the angry birds!:mwahaha

    23. One sixth scale is great for these little ones.
Toki measures 3.2mm from his nose to the front of his ear and 4.3mm to the back of his ear.

    24. Thank you so much. I'll be using these measurements to start making wigs. You are the best.

    25. Got a new bed for my Coco!

    26. That’s so sweet! Every Realpuki deserves a warm, comfy bed.;)

    27. Oh my goodness where did you get that? I'm still working on things for my girl. And now I wanna crochet a tiny granny square blanket for that bed.

    28. @Fiesty_Fennec I got it from a toy store, the brand is maileg if you are interested.

    29. I’m so thrilled to have adopted another Realfee, a tan Toki, and to finally have my little darling home safe and sound with me. I had a complete wardrobe awaiting her arrival, some comfy and cozy wear (made entirely from socks!) They were fun and relaxing to make, and helped while away the hours waiting for her because I was so excited. Her name is Brambles (because she looks like such a mischievous, prickly little thing.);)

    30. You've styled your girl so beautifully, PoeticSoul!!

    31. Love her. I've got a Toki as well. Mines is named Tilly Mint:love

    32. She's gorgeous. I keep checking every day for my girl to get past the processing stage. I need to settle down and start making her clothing and hair as well.
Your girl looks so warm and toasty.

    33. My realfee elves. I ended up getting 2 Tokis, but since I did the face-up on one of them, they look really different. One is a girll and one is a boy. I love my Coco too! She looks like she is so much younger.

    34. They look very cute. Faceup can make a big difference in how a doll looks.

I made the face up for Pan myself, and he looks quite different from the original one done by Fairyland. Here he is charming some frogs with music:

    35. Great job on that faceup, spih!

    36. @spih Your little Pan has long been a favorite of mine.:) It’s so lovely seeing him charming those frogs…he’s always utterly charmed me!

    37. @spih I have always loved your Pan! He’s a great character and you created him wonderfully!

    38. Hello, I haven’t been here for quite a while. I love seeing all your realfees. Last week I placed an order for a tan male Luna. I’m really excited and probably have a long wait as he is a pre-order. Do any of you have a male Luna doll? I’m really struggling to find any clothes for him anywhere. It seems everyone on ETSY has closed up shop. I envisioned my male Luna as a little gnome and would like to get a certain type of look for him. I’m feeling a bit frustrated with the lack of any clothes for these little creatures. Where do you shop for clothes? Can anyone help me? I just feel lost when shopping for clothes.

    39. @Brenay from what I’ve heard some Blythe clothing fits although obviously anything long is going to drown them.
I feel your pain though and to be honest there has never been much of a choice when it comes to Realfee sized clothing, they’re very forgotten about in comparison to Pukifee, Littlefee or even Pukipuki size in that respect.
My little ‘June’ boy is currently wearing a Gugu Moda onesie (purchased on Etsy), the only other piece of clothing he possesses is a pair of Barbie sized shorts he came with when I adopted him. Sorry I can’t be more help.

Well I don’t know about anyone else but looking at the current limited rerelease of some Pukipuki and Realpuki has me wondering when they’re going to rerelease the other Realfee such as Pano. I was also thinking how amazing Obi would be in Realfee size! I love his buck-teeth and rather vacant expression, would be perfect for a Nac Mac Feegle in blue resin of course.

    42. That’s a great outfit @SteamWitch ! He really looks like a creature of the wild!

    43. Thank you @El BJD and @Dollquest. I'm thinking of adding a small knife/sword to his outfit.

      • x 2
    44. @SteamWitch That's a great outfit! I think a knife, sword or maybe a bow would be a great accessory.

    45. @SteamWitch - very nice outfit! He totally needs some weaponry!

I just put a Realfee boy Coco on layaway as a pre-order at DDE! This completes my Fairyland dream line up! Now I just have to survive the wait!!

    46. Does anyone know if Fairyland ever plans to re-release any of the lower body parts (especially the satyr legs) at any point? I was so excited for the fantasy parts to be part of their regular options back when they were released but the only thing I ever see listed are the bunny legs and the gryffon parts.

    49. I don’t know but I also hope they do! They’ve not said much at all really other than to periodically announce limited rereleases of slightly modified sculpts. I know they will have their reasons (injury played a large part in the temporary suspension of most of their tiny sized doll production) but it is hard not to feel frustrated when it seems they release a new minifee every five minutes!

    51. Thank you, he is my little hunter!

    52. Love him! Do you think they could be related?

My Nomios, is a young relative of the great Pan.

P.S. I also have Mari (full set Natural/Pink tail), Mari (girl Pink), Mari (girl Tan), Pano (Mint), June (full set Natural), May (White) and Toki (Natural) click on their name if you want to see them.
