Is the new RLF equine inspired?

 

Oh, I didn't get that at first but the tail and topside ears COULD very well mean equine... I think the face looks very Froud-ish

 

My first guess was a fox, but someone suggested she may be a unicorn. Wouldn't a Realfee centaur be awesome?

 

That's what I was thinking too with the face. RLFs need to stop winning me over so I can get a body for my May...

 

She's a MUST HAVE for sure, those ears and that face are divine!

As for me, I would also prefer a bit smaller, so I ordered 12mm moons)
But as my Niri is already home since yesterday, I had a chance to try on 14mm pair bought from local club. Just as a temporary solution while her 12mms are being shipped.

I saw two more pictures of the new realfee. Looks like those are wings on the head, not ears. LINK

And they look as if they were attached by magnets, which would be way better than have such ears (aka "wig killers") modelled on the faceplate.

While I do admit that the doll itself does not tempt me by now, I don't know whether to get her or not, because my Soso faceplate needs a body. But then again, I'm actually happy with the one RF I have. Do I really need one more? o.O

 

This is probably not the best thread to ask that question in, since pretty much all of us are likely to say "YES!" :p

If they are little wings, they're rather cute! I like the face as well, it looks so sweet. I can see myself falling in love quite easily... With Mari, I was completely unfussed until a new photo was released that showed her face from a slightly different angle, and then I was very much enamoured with her. This new one may well end up going the same way, if future pictures turn out to be equally adorable. I'm excited to see if there will be new fantasy parts, but dreading it at the same time.. Or in the very least, my bank balance is dreading it! I can almost hear it sobbing already :p.

So exciting to finally have some Realfee news to talk about.

Well, I painted the chair, but I didn't make it. I bought it from a little shop here, it comes in the perfect size for Tiny dolls like the RF

My guess is that they are birds. The full body pic of the girl shows a long plume of green feathers coming from her outfit behind her, the sleeves of her outfit are also wide, giving the impression of wings, and if her "ears" are actually wings, then it would make sense for them to be birds. Maybe they will have bird legs?

 

Those little mouths are beaky too. Birds sounds great to me! I also really like what I can see of the boy outfit.

 

yes that too, the boy has a very beaky looking mouth. also the wing things on their heads kind of look like the tufts some owls have. like in this pic!

The ears/wings on the head and the shoes remind me of Mercury (as in the messenger of the gods, not the amazing Freddie.)

 

So cute! I think these two are going to be the Pano and May release of buying all RLFs all over again for me.

 

Certainly seems like she has a wings theme going...I'm really hoping it's a bird theme. n_n

 

Oh my goodness, I love them both! I've been busy gardening the past week or so and missed the news!

Oh no... they're cute! I hope I'm not in trouble! I'm a little iffy on both Realfee faces, but I love the hippogriffs... I may need to put one on layaway to save for future use when I sculpt I like more is released.

Oh my!! I'm really done for now! How am I ever gonna explain this lot to hubby?? i really love that blue resin (or is it white that's been airbrushed) and that cheeky faceplate in the last photo. Be still my beating heart!!!

 

they are amazing! i love the hippogriffs, though not sure i'll be able to bring them home if they are only a limited release.

one thing i was confused about was this statement though
"Fantasy Art Line parts that are compatible with RealFee will be marked as [ Fantasy Art “R” Line ] for your information. We are still debating development of Fantasy Art “F” Line on its own. "
that makes it clear what the "r" line is, but what is the "f" line?

 

Very sorry for the late reply - I would love it if Fairyland does more mermaid realfees - maybe the next mermaid tail will be a bit more posable sort of like the Fairyline seahorse tail. Thank you so much for giving me hope.

I use to think F line meant Fairyline but this wouldn't make sense because it's not MSD size. Unless they plan to make a separate fantasy creature line?

 

Maybe the F is for Feeple?

I actually *may* be safe, at least from the fullset. I don't do anthros with animal heads, and I'm not a fan of the hooved back legs with bird front legs combo, so I may wait until they do an actual centaur release. I do like the girl face, so she may come home as a basic. I wonder if you'll have to buy two dolls to get the human/hippogriff combo?

I'm guessing the larger wings are magnetic, since they aren't in all the pictures with the body. Wouldn't that be awesome?

 

I think that means that they might make separate fantasy creatures that aren't meant to be parts for any of their current doll lines? Sort of like the hippogriff by itself, then just imagine it doesn't have compatibility with the RealFees.

 

i think the F line is the fantasy creature itself, like the body with the actual animal head. I think they are saying they aren't sure if they are going to start selling full on fantasy animal dolls on their own, or just keep them as an option.

My, don't those look... complicated.

I like the hippogriffs better than the humanoid/horse-eagle hybrids, from these photos. But I don't know if they'll offer "full art" blushing for the HGs -- or if they do, it'll be hella pricey. And I think I'd prefer a stronger contrast color -- bronze or metallic green, maybe -- on a white-skinned hippogriff. So maybe (my wallet hopes) I'll be waiting for a later release.

Those faceplates look like Pupu and May, I think?

I'm doomed..... DOOMED, I tell you! I just managed to keep myself from getting earlier Realfees, but a hippogriff?! ARG!!

 

So happy to find this thread. Big fairyland fan and the fantasy direction they have taken with the RF line. How do you eliminate pieces from your want lists? Geez i want all four in the upcoming release.

 

I'd like to see them without their wigs. And without faceups. I can't decide which face I like best.

 

I may be wrong but I think it's Fairyline art line... as opposed to Realfee art line, F and R?

Or, as people already replied, but it doesn't make sense to me, it will be the development of fantasy dolls on its own, that are not at all compatible with the dolls already done. Like some fantasy animals that belong to the realfee world but are not compatible with them.

 

I am typically a Minifee girl but now I need the girl Realfee OHHHH my lanta!

 

me too, i always like to see the blank sculpts because they look so different from the faceupped ones and its easier to see the potential for custom faces that way. plus im pretty sure the ears/wings are attached by magnets, but id like to know for sure....
