Fairyland PukiPuki Discussion Part 23

Jun 11, 2016

    1. @Enid Black Oh my goodness! So cute and full of attitude. I love Perwinkle!

My daughter (3yo) has become an unexpected inspiration for my tinies lately. She loves to walk or crawl around the house and act like a cat lately, so here is Opera doing the same. ;)

    2. Oh my goodness...that's too cute for words!:D

    3. Ooooh, I hadn't seen the singing Piki yet, so cute!!!!!

I hope I'm not developing an addiction, but something tells me I'll be to be strong...

    4. Opera is absolutely adorable. Hurray for inspiration!

    5. Thanks guys!!
I am thinking Fairyland needs to focus on the pukipukis again, even if it's just an event faceplate. *crosses fingers for event face with whatever that paw photo shows* :eusa_pray They have been ignored too much lately!

    6. @redmaiko I would love to see pukis come up again, its been so long! Can I ask what photo you mean? I'd love to know what has you hoping for a event plate with it.

    7. @HeavensChaos It's a post from Kim SunHwa on Facebook. They normally show previews before the official Fairyland announcement and get everyone in a tizzy! lol :)

    8. @redmaiko Oh wow thanks, now I definitely understand!

    9. @redmaiko that is just too cute, does your daughter have a kitty headband too?

    10. Hehe Yep!! A leopard print kitty headband, clip-on tail and oversized paw mittens! I thought about adding the pukisha paws for the shot, but the ones I have are normal skin and this just looked a bit more random. :)

    11. i think the hands you used were perfect. it looks just like a little girl pretending!

Wow its been so long since I shared I couldn't remember how to do it! *_* My poor dolls have taken a back seat to a lot of things in the last couple years, but I'm kind of in the middle of trying to fix/find myself here and so I finally made Iah the skirt I wanted to make her way back in December. For my first try its not so bad. The yarn won't lay nicely because I had used it to practice my stitching before making the skirt and so it just wants to stay a crinkled mess. But I think she looks so cute in it.

    13. Awww...she is adorable! I love her blue eyes and blue wig! I think you did a great job for your first try on a skirt.

    14. @Meggethann Thank you!:D I don't have much for crochet skills, as single stitch is pretty much all I can reliably do but it sort of worked in my favor when I made this. My first chain was really tightly done so the top half of the skit is actually slightly smaller than the bottom half where I started my other rows. It helps keep the skirt in place if you ask me.

    15. I love your skirt! I actually like the crinkled look but I bet you could iron or steam it straight

    16. I haven't posted here in a little while. Everyone's dolls look so cute!

My Lilou (Ante) was joined recently by her new best buddy Maia (Rose) :)

    17. I wish I had tan ones! So cute!

    18. Aww, thanks. :)

    19. @vertefae Thank you! I was thinking that there must be some way to straighten it out and I do have an iron so I just might.

Tan Rose! Roses are so cute but like triple as cute when tan. Lilou and Maia look adorable.

    20. Oh gosh, I'm having a big problem with the Puki Puki... I want more XD

The tan ones are SO CUTE!! And the photos are stunning!

    21. Thank you both so much!

I agree that PukiPukis are so addictive and I love that they take up pretty much no space at all. I might need to add a Pong to my collection at some point in the future. :)

    22. Fairyland is having an event now and you can order a tan PukiPuki this time around. I so enjoy seeing others post their dolls. I am mostly a lurker but I have several PukiPukis and they are my favorites.

    23. I'm going to see, Namaro, but I've already done my resin shopping for this year (my Puki Puki wasn't even in the plans, actually XD). I'm waiting for a big big body, this year I bought my biggest and smallest dolls, XD

    24. Does anyone have any of the new option parts yet? I keep thinking of getting the rod and maybe the pickaxe. :sweat ...then I see I could get a tan cochon faceplate...LOL. Like I really need another, but a tan piggie would be cute!

    25. Oooh, new magic items? Well heck, I might have to find a way to get a hold of the rod at some point, that's absolutely perfect for my Iah. She could stop using a giant sewing needle....

    26. All the tan Pukis lately are intriguing quite much. They are nearly tempting. >_<

But I had finally my dollyweekend with friends of mine to mod and do face-ups. So I did for my three face-plates and my msd boy.
We also opended the the sleeping Lily FP, cause it was myobjective from the start to get a dreaming second FP for Pet.

So here are Pet with a new FP, my Owl Glaucos(Lily) and Ashrose(my oldest but neglected Puki).
Further more I completly redid Pets old face-up to match it with the new FP. And this feels and looks still so weird. I loved his old face-up so much........

    27. I find I'm falling in love with the tan skin more and more.

    28. Love these dolls! So tempted to get a tan Rose :love

    29. I bought that several years ago, but for the normal skin dolls.

    30. How do you like it?

    38. Did hallmark make those little tricycle ornaments small enough for pukipukis? I know I've seen them used with pukifee sized dolls.

    39. Yes, I got one for the Pukis about 5-6 years ago. [IMG]Ani and Mouse like the tricycle by Rosanne, on Flickr

    44. Random de-lurking question: Has anybody got a Momoko wig to try on a puki and see if they fit? I know they're close in size, but not how close...

    45. I can't help you with that question much, but I am going to a meetup next weekend. I will keep a look out for anyone who has a momoko if no one answers your question before then.

Cute photo incoming!!! Other dolls have kinda taken over my time lately. I really don't give enough camera time to my pukis like I used to.

    46. Oh I love this photo - what an adorable dog and I love his overalls.

    47. Momoko dolls do not wear wigs. They have implanted hair.
But hey have approx. the same head size.

    48. This is true, but people do make wigs in order to further customize Momoko dolls, and it's those wigs I am curious about, because they're near 3-4 inches and they look to be better made than most of the poofy bushes available for puki wigs. I really would love a puki wig that doesn't double the size of the doll's head.

    49. Ooooh! That's a Tabloach wig! My Marvin had that as his first ever <3

And on a side note, I've been gone awhile trying to copy my photostories onto my computer. Haven't gone to another 3rd party hosting site yet as I've just not the time. Plus my new job has me on the computer all day and my eyes are fried by day's end.

For those of you who did get to follow my stories, they're getting a face lift and I'm actually going to publish children's books!!

    50. Oh wow congrats! I have always wondered, as an Illustrator, how one would work out copyright with "illustrations" made of dolls, since the doll company might object.. or would they? I'd love to chat about it via PM if you're willing to discuss it.

    51. Lillith and Leon wish everyone a happy Halloween!

    52. It looks like they are having a great party!

    53. Adorable! Mine got dressed up for Halloween, and I shot a couple photos at their house, but no big celebration. At this point they're just happy to be out of their boxes.

    54. This size IS difficult to work with....in any other brand. Welcome to Fairyland!! :wiggle

    55. Dont know where to ask but what size eyes do you all use in your pukifee I think the eyes in the one I brought second hand seem a bit small & sorry I dont know how to post a pic here yet. I read that it says with the small dolls 8mm & then I asked on google & it said 12 to 14mm so Im a bit confused but maybe the Fairyland sell with 10mm...If there is another place to post this thats fine. My girl looks as though she is a bit vacant so I did as they say & make sure the iris is a little under the eyelids but then to me there is to much white showing...please help. Thanks.:blush:thumbup
