    9. Hi, I have pukipuki, Ante, for more than a year but until now it's been hard for me to find a perfect wig for her. Either it's too big or too thick. Any idea or brand that fits pukipuki best? Which easier to managed? Mohair or maybe fur? Thanks heaps for the help.

    10. I had a pukipuki quite a long time ago, and im thinking of buying a tan puki .... so pretty ... though i cant seem to decide between chuchu or pipi. clothing seems to be scarce, though im sad i sold all her things from before too... i had such cute stuff.

Instead of leaving the cutie at home, id have her at work with me.. i work in an office so i thought it would be perfect too. although if i want to make one after mikami (boy in my display picture) that whole idea is scrapped..... decisions decisions

    11. I personally prefer fiber wigs, but its really a case of preference. I've had wigs from Monique, in the 4" size, and they fit well enough. Depending on the style, they don't always fit perfectly (look for one thats not too puffy and doesn't have too long bangs. You can buy them from Facets by Marcia. One of my girls has a great wig from there. My other girl used to have a Monique wig, but has moved on to a DollWig one, from this Etsy shop. They ship from Japan, but I had a great experience ordering from them. Some of the wigs are a bit long, but the 3.5" size fits very well. Unfortunately, they don't have anything listed at the moment. My boy has a tabloach wig. He looks adorable in it. I've had another for one of my girls, and I wasn't as happy with it.

You can see all of my pukis with their wigs in the picture below. Weasley (the red head) is wearing Monique, Crumb (the boy), tabloach and Flit, (pink hair) the wig from DollWig. Hope this helps despite the terrible lighting.

    12. Thank you Lubelle for the information. For a tiny doll like them I guess a lighter wig is better. i will get the fiber one then.

    13. Except one all my Pukis wear Tabloach-wigs. I love them! They fit perfectly and I love the look. I have to take an new pic this weekend.

    14. Tabloach wigs are the most consistently well-fitting I have come across. I also have 2 from Monique and 2 from Fairyland.

    15. Sootie made himself comfortable on Chris T. Mas's leg and emptied the dollses cookie jar faster than I could take pics...

I have the normal Flora for the pink one and the Cupid for the blue one. Are you planning to keep those faceplates?

    24. Hi everyone. Gosh, it's been sooo long since I've actually posted something. I'm really excited to share that I am the new owner of my first pukipuki. My first doll was a minifee but I was never really interested in their smaller versions. I changed my mind when I saw another post about a pukipuki living in a 1/12 inch scale dollhouse. I do love me some dollhouses. So anywho, I decided then and there that someday I was going to buy a pukipuki and have her live in my dollhouse (at the time, I didn't even have a dollhouse). Anywho, I now have a dollhouse and just recently received my pukipuki ante. I haven't even gotten her a wig and decent eyes, but I had to share!

    25. Congratulations Kaedrian. Your ante is so sweet. My very first BJD was a pukipuki ante named Isabelle. I also purchased her to live in my dollhouses. I think that pukis are the perfect size.
My original blog was all about her adventures in helping me to finish my dollhouses.

    26. Ante is so cute in any size, but I think my favorite is the pukipuki ones. These little beauties pose so wonderfully.

    27. Pukipukis know how to relax!

    28. What a great photo - love all the detail.

    29. Thanks!

    30. May I ask where you got her wig? I need a white toned wig this size.

    31. Aw!! Such cute Antes'!!! They both look so at home. :)

Tasuki got a new wig!! Not that it looks much different, but since his old one was at least 8 years old, it was time. The wear and tear was really showing. He is all poofy again!

    33. yuki-saurus, thank you very much:hug:!
I think my incoming Pukisha will like this one! :kitty2

    34. It is always a pleasure to see Tasuki - he is just the cutest little guy!

    35. Adorable scene KoalaSam! Where did you find that mission style couch? I want one for my dolls!

    36. Thanks Leo Pheonix. I ordered the mission style couch from the Hobby Builders Supply catalogue a few years ago (and saved money by using one of the discount coupons from the back page).
I really like using dollhouse furniture for the Pukipukis. I don't know if they still carry this particular couch, but I have seen them for sale on ebay.

    37. Hobby Builders Supply's website is miniatures.com

I remember a sale a few years ago, but they don't seem to have the mission style sofa anymore.

    38. Okay. I can't stand it, I'm just gonna ask - *shouts* CAN I HAVE PUKISHA SPAM!?! please? :eusa_pray:abambi::kitty1:dance

    40. so cute with the Siamese kitty look

    41. Sam is so cute - love his face up and his detail

    42. Thank you. He is so cute! I'm pondering whether to get the magic parts. Not sure. *think think*

    43. Thank you, @KoalaSam and @Merlin's Mom !! I love his so much! He is the first bjd I really bonded with, so he will always be special to me!
@Ballerina I would definitely get the magic parts! :thumbup I am such an enabler!

    44. Leon doesn't think you need the cat parts...

I do need to find his missing helmet though...:x

    45. Thank you Leon; I actually decided not to get the cat parts. I like my Pukisha how she is. It's actually only the body I need, so I'll have the extra face now. I already have the awake and sleeping faces for her. Have to finish the faceup on the awake face. It'll be nice to have the extra face for a more neutral look too.

    46. I wonder if it was you then that I read! I don't remember who wrote it, but I remember the dollhouse was a Greenleaf - I want to say the Orchid model, but I could be wrong. It was very cute!

    47. Has anyone had problems with posing these little guys? I hear they're great, but mine kind of pops around or jumps if that makes any sense. For example, sometimes when I'm playing with her, she'll just do a can-can kick. I assume it's because of her stringing and that she's so small. I don't know if restringing her will help or sueding her would also help. I can get her to stand but she's not as posable as my minifee.

    48. @Kaedrian, If you got her recently, I would recommend waiting a while. the elastic will relax a bit with time. Posing them on a magnetic white board also helps due to the magnets in their feet.

    49. Oh my goodness-what a cutie!!!!

    50. I'm gritting my theet at my past self to NoT have bought the Niko sleeping faceplate too. I really want one now. It's only 30$ more.
I really want to have a half closed eye faceplate for my Darling Pet.
Of couse there is none on the marketplace atm. V____v
Maybe I should try a ChuChu and take his sleeping face-plate.
I have sanded down Pets nose and ears already. Might be close enough.
(Or maybe a Lily. There is one on the marketplace for quite a time I'm eyeing with...)
But I don't want to have a full new Puki for this.....
Maybe with a little patience someone is selling a Niko SL FP in time...

EDIT: I JUST bought a cute NS Lily off of the market here. Omg. Someone new for my staff.:celebrate

Can I ask for some Lilys?:love

    51. My little Pukisha was my very first Fairyland doll purchased years ago when they were first released. Loved her but had a difficult time finding the look I liked for her. Had some new ideas today & I think I've finally brought out her personality. I'm thrilled with her...now if she will just tell me her name!
