Fairyland PukiPuki Discussion Part 23

I know! I’ve kind of been taking that as a certainty... I’ve been looking forward to grow both my realpuki and pukipuki family.

 

Looks like they will be ending the preorder early due to the high demand. That is a good thing, really! They know they are still wanted! What really concerns me though, is that Fairyland got threats and mean feedback. Why can't people just be nice?

 

@Ruthiepooh , it would be a huge disappointment if they aren’t able to resume production after all. I’m sorry for the person who’s having such health problems as well.
@redmaiko , yes that is a good thing! Shocking & sad to hear they’ve received threats & cruel comments.

 

Oh no, that ruins so much for everybody!

It is good that they have a high demand though, pherhaps that means this person can get some help with parts of the process.

sorry I've been gone, we're trying to buy a house and it keeps getting delayed. everyone is packed away for a move that isn't happening fast enough!

 

@Budgie Love her wings! glad to see them in another picture that is not a sales pic, since I wasn't sure how they would photograph. They are beautiful!
I am impatiently waiting for mine. They shipped a week ago but aren't moving much.

I haven't had dolly time at all since work is crazy but I am enjoying everyone's photos!

No idea what the "cute threats" are. "If you don't release more Pukis I will eat an entire cake I'm one setting" sounds cute-ish. I can't quite imagine what else would be a cute threat.

 

@TheDoctor - where are you based? I'm in the UK, took around 6 weeks lol! But can't wait to see them when they arrive!!

 

@Budgie Germany. So same boat so to speak. Tracking has Flora's wings located somewhere in California. It worries me a bit that Etsy has them listed as "delivered", but they are probably in a distribution centre waiting for a flight out of the US. How long did your wings take to arrive?

 

Trust me when I say watching the tracking will infurate and confuse you!
I was gonna post the tracking history, but it's not avaiable now; it notes that she posted them on 29 April, 2020 and I can see that they didn't even leave the USA until 11 June, 2020! All that time I kept getting status updates saying "shipped to destiation country" but then they would next be tracked in some other state - it was crazy.
They finally arrived at Heathrow international hub on the 12 June and were then with me on the 16 June!

I made some progress with Flora's study today Here is a sneak peak. I will update my project journal some time this week when I'm a little further along.

@TheDoctor Flora's space is looking great so far! Leon's been asking for a space of his own lately, but he'll have to wait until I have at least one of the houses meant for my Real Puki's done.

 

I got some great news today! My Pukipuki Pongpong has been shipped! I ordered May 31st, and DDE got him already. I’m just so happy!

My tracking says my Pong should be delivered tomorrow. I hope so! The wait is getting harder.

I’m so excited for you @kurogane ! Pong is my favourite puki sculpt, though I might be a bit biased.

I finally got around to altering Pip’s overalls so he can finally wear them. He’s trying his best model pose here, lol.

 

@Aiko-chan thanks! My package was delayed, so maybe tomorrow? Anyway, your Pip is so cute in those overalls. Ready for fun! Your Pip has helped me get through till tomorrow, lol.

I finally got Lillian some 6mm eyes, they look so much better!

 

My Pong arrived today! He is so tiny and cute! I got the company face up, and am very pleased. He came with some acrylic eyes that are pretty nice, but thankfully I had a pair of glass eyes that look even better. I have nothing for him! I keep asking myself, why did I wait so long to get a Pukipuki?! I see more in the future!

Any wig info is much appreciated! Like favorite brands, best fit, etc.

 

My Leon wears a Pukipuki wig from Tabloach, and Lilith has a 3-4" from Monique. I originally had a Fairyland wig for Lilith, but the fit was terrible. I really like the Tabloach one, since it fits well and suits Leon's character.

 

@Leo Pheonix thank you! I’m making a list to keep so I can get what fits. I’ve not heard of Tabloach, so will happily check them out!

@Ruthiepooh the sofa is so pretty and your Thumbalina is adorable! One can’t have too many friends (I’m discovering this myself with my crew). When these dolls are tiny, it’s amazing how they add up.

I'm beginning to regret not picking up a Pong the last preorder. I've never been a huge fan of them but I've seen a few custom face ups that have changed my mind!
Sorry for no photo spam. We still don't have internet, so I'm exclusively working off my phones data plan. I'm hoping to have internet soon so I can be more active!

 

@elfy016 I saw one in the mp, but that was a week ago. I was thinking maybe I might need another Pong, but no, just one is enough.

I’ve been working on a custom wig for mine. Got started, then my autoimmune disorder acted up. I’m ok now, so I need to get that wig finished. Too many irons in the fire.

I finally got around to taking a picture of my Pong, named Pippin. He is so proud of his hamster. Still trying to find the perfect wig. This one is ok with the hood up.

He is adorable, but as you can tell by my Avatar, I love my Pong.

Well, darling Photobucket went from promising my entry plan would never change or increase, to informing me my photos would display with "photobucket" watermarked (loudly) across them, to taking them down unless I pay more, or do a monthly subscription. Pretty sad. If I ever get time (like, when I'm retired in 6 yrs) I'll make that Flicker account and learn to post from there. I don't think I'll rebuild anything, just move forward with more current photos of my kids. Great sadness, here.

I'm sorry that happened to you! Photobucket really sucks lately.

I had a paid Photobucket account until they started making these changes a few years ago and they broke links all over the Internet.
Looks like I switched in time. I have had bad experiences before with photo sharing sites, lost a few pictures (even from paid accounts) and had sites go belly-up without warning, so these days I save everything locally instead of counting on a photo sharing site for storage.

@Nicolettescarletti I guess it depends how in scale you mean? I have an Eve Studio 4cm 3d printed pug for my pukis.

Perfect sized puppy! so cute! I looked up Daisy Dayes but unfortunately it doesn't seem loke she is still making them. I do some felting, so I was planning to make my tinies pets that way.

 

She makes a litter every now and then, but not since last year I think. She seems to be bussy with the little princesses now. You should go by the Resin cafe on the 7-8. Nov. You never know what she’ll put out for sale.

I'm also showing my Knopka again, he's been receiving most of my attention recently, despite some kind of winter depression when nothing makes happy he he.
