Thank you everyone! Yes I did make Tori's wig, loosely following a tutorial by Mozekyto on youtube, definitely something that is going to help when I'm working on pigtail wigs for my girls since most of them have ended up looking a bit more bulky than I wanted.
I need to keep working on the jeans and hoodie Tori's wearing, when I get the chance to pick up some more supplies. Really hard around here to get good fabrics and fasteners in a good size for these little ones.

Sonya is adorable! Pio has such a sweet little face and I love her wig, cut and color are perfect on her!

Hello, I usually just lurk on this thread. I have one pukifee, and would love to buy several more eventually. They are so adorable. I really want a tan skin Bonnie ( I've wanted her for years ) and I have fallen for Cony also. I love the little pouty faces I guess. They remind me of a toddler wanting something you said no to, and then you can't resist their pouty face
Anyway..... I was wondering if anyone has a Tika I could see? I'm really interested in his mold but haven't seen any owner pictures at all.

 

Hey everyone, so as the title suggests, I've finally got my first fairyland pukifee and she is so adorable!! I'm completely in love already! I can't decide on a name though, any suggestions? Also another little thing, I got her second hand from a lovely lady and she included loads of clothes and a little wig. Trouble is I cannot get the wig to stay on!! It just keeps pinging off so I don't know whether I need a bigger size wig or if there are any tricks to getting it to stay on...?

Pukifees are absolutely adorable what sculpt did you get?

Hmm if the wig is too big have seen some people attaching velcros on the headcap to keep the wig on or using silicon wig caps to make sure the wig stays in place, hope this will help ^^

 

Congrats! for the wig problem ,you may need a sillicon wig cap. Or maybe you need to buy or make a wig for your doll.

 

She's a tan Ante, so so cute! Will try and get a picture on here when I've taken some decent ones! I think the wig problem is that it's too small rather than too big. I wondered if cutting the elastic a little bit to loosen it might help. I think if not I might just buy her a new one. Or like you say maybe the silicon wig cap might be the way to go. Oh dilemmas! Lol!

They're the perfect size. I could never reshell Maddy as a larger doll. I wouldn't be able to carry her around in my purse and wouldn't be able to find accessories for her.

I got dark brown Sprouty eyes for Maddy. I think I like the slightly smaller iris better. Although neither of us were really liking the swarm of bugs that descended upon us while trying to take photos....

Think she has got to be the most "grown-up" looking PKF I've ever seen. She's precious from the top or her head to the tips of her little toes.

So I managed to fix my wig problem, I made a little cut in the elastic which was just enough to loosen it and it fits perfectly now! Will get some pictures on here when I can get onto my computer to upload!

Tori decided to play flower fairy yesterday since our purple wild flowers are in bloom.


While playing flower fairy, she heard a noise from deeper inside and discovered a flower spirit (my sister's Big Dipper Cherish) and promptly set about trying to make friends.

This is potentially a silly question, but what does "multi-head" mean?

Leiothrix my dad used to say that the only stupid questions was the ones you didn't ask. Meaning it would be stupid NOT to ask if you wanted to know something.

Back when PukiFees just came out Fairyland made a few Multiheads. They were supposed to fit both PukiFee bodies and PukiPuki bodies. They're in between normal PukiFee heads and normal PukiPuki heads in size.

Multi-heads can be used on either Pukipuki bodies (larger than default) or Pukifee (smaller than default) bodies.

 

Thanks everyone. It's interesting that Fairyland don't reveal that on their own site, they are just listed as PukiFee (multihead) with no explanation.

 

If you go to FairyLand's site and click on their Image Blog, there are comparative photos with the different size heads: LittleFee, PukiFee, PukiPuki - a comparative study - ^^. There's no explanation, but at least you can see them.

Denver Doll shows one of the photos at the bottom of their PukiFee pages, so I went back to FairyLand's site to look for it. FL keeps it well hidden.

Thank you guys! I also like how this idea turned out, actually it was a clients idea. It's very funny. The bubble itself is made of polymer clay

Someone said tan shiwoo, and like magic, I was summoned! Aaaaand somehow it ended up coming home with me. It’s fine, pukifees don’t count as a whole doll, you need like, five of them for that right? Right????



Please excuse the bad lighting and messy wig – I was going to do a whole box opening but didn’t have the energy for it when I got home. So far I’ve been calling him Amok since the other tan shiwoo in residence is named Amis (which is apparently an actual name but is also absolutely a pun on amiss). We’ll see if he keeps it.
