Congrats to everyone placing tan orders! Here is some tan (and NS) spam. I can't wait for my tan Vanilla and Flora to join the crew!

They are very cute together, I do love taking photos of the smaller ones with the larger dolls. Ma'at (the Pukifee in the photo) is actually a Bonnie, not an Ante. My only Ante is a little WS boy called Seth. My big girl is a Lishe... guess Lishe with me and you'll rarely be wrong!! But with Pukifee... I have a lot of Bonnies and almost as many Zoes

there isnt a pukifee lishe sculpt is there? your zoes look like younger versions of the lishes though.

My Pio is the only pukifee I have right now that actually has a custom face up But she's gorgeous still. Thank you

At first I was sure I wanted a littlefee Leah in tan but now I'm actually considering ordering a tan pukifee Dony instead (like I need ANOTHER tan pukifee when I already have four!) ;___; This event is too tempting!

not tan but i just found this adorable hard hat at marks workwearhouse today while getting winter clothes for my youngest son (who grew 8 inches last year!) it is supposed to be an air freshener but it looked like it would be the right size for a pukifee and was only $5 so i took a chance and it fit perfectly! crystal loves it and thinks she may be a construction worker for halloween

Gigiholy - your girls are adorable! What sculpts are they? I can't recognise them! I especially like the one on the left

I ordered a tan Cupid to go with my tan LTF Pongpong2. Man, if there were a PKF Lishe or El, I'd have at least two of each.

Do I want the default face-ups for my tan Icis and Vanilla or do I want them to have custom face-ups?

 

I don't know, if you don't, [emoji15] [emoji1] ...but Vanilla will have the new fullset faceup with freckles, and Vanilla needs to have freckles....

 

I already have my candy themed white skin Vanilla and I thought maybe a gingerbread or chocolate themed tan Vanilla would be the perfect match for her

TPR if I were just as crazy as you are I'd have at least 10 Shiwoos. I do like Lishe a lot though.

But I want to see them all together! It'll be so nice to have proof that someone is even more crazy than I am. (I only have 9. )


Gigi Holy they look cute. I never thought 12mm would work for PKFs. I really ought to get another Shiwoo (tan?) so I can use those 12mm dark blue Gumdrops I have. They are pretty small for 12mm.

auntbear awww that hardhat is adorable. Gro wishes she could get a riding helmet or whatever you call them in English.

willoughby As Bluemoonjules answered, Sushi is a Juri 2014 event FP, and Gobi is a basic PKF Dony. Both are lovely. Juri is always smiling. Dony sometimes reminds me of Ante, but I can not explain why. Maybe because the lower part of their faces...

Dustbunnie With Dony, I used the Luts 14mm eye sizer, because her inner eye holes are very small, but I like them with bigger eyes.. (and the makos are smaller as well) Twig is gorgeous with her face up, and I love her wig!!! Tan Vanillas are just stunning!! *o*

 

She is quite similar to Ante, I think...siblings, maybe

So if you order a Mio and Vanilla a la carte you will get the new face ups?

 

Yes, that's right, the a la cartes get the latest fullset faceup...you can always ensure it by putting a note on your order

 

Thank you, I didn't realize that...

Now I have to do some more thinking on who and what to order.

I really like the Mio face-up, I think she is whimsically eccentric and would fit a character that I have had in the works for awhile now. Really don't need the full set but love the eyes however I would want her in NS and seeing how tan is a rare event I feel like I should stick with tan pukifees this time around .

i bet if you painted it black it would look just like one. if you had flocking it would be even better. but the shape is pretty close from what i remember. though you might have to add a chin strap too. if you can't find them there and gro really wants one pm me.

my tan vanilla was supposed to be a boy, i've been planning him since just after the tans started arriving, but all these vanilla girls are making me think i need a tan vanilla girl instead! doh i guess i'll have to see what he/she looks like after the faceup is done.

i'm lucky i got my tan minifee and the littlefees last time, and while i love my tan mnf i have no desire for another. but tan pukifees are like potato chips!

he is so cute. my tan bonnie sam is asking for a twin sister and i'm trying to resist since he already has a ns sister dovey. but those big puppy eyes are so hard to resist!

 

sorry to interrupt the tan celebrations but my little deer girl willow met with an unfortunate fate last night
she got knocked off a shelf and while (fortunately!) none of her custom parts were broken, the inside of her headback got a bit smashed and i don't know if i can fix it since i can't find the little pieces. her faceplate can't stay on now, not even with the magnet since the sarang plate was a very poor fit on this particular body anyway. soooo i don't know if i should try to fix it or just buy whole new doll and re-make her?! i was never crazy about the sarang face and the body is very yellow so i'm leaning towards a new one :/
i hope the rest of you guys never have to experience the panic and shock of seeing your doll get knocked on to the floor and smash apart!! i think i nearly died!!

poor willow! as a temporary fix while you decide what to do you can probably stick the faceplate back on with little bits of silicone ear plugs. crystals head loosened up after her last faceup and wouldn't stay on anymore so i put it back on that way. it's been like that for a couple of years now and hasn't budged.

 

Perhaps ask Fairyland if they will give you a replacement headback? They're not difficult to change over on a Pukifee. But if you do, make sure you take lots of photos and are really honest about how it happens. They have a thing about lies at the moment.

I say this simply because I had a problem with a hand on one of my LTF and they were fantastic - not only sending out a replacement set of hands, but also replacing the hand and wrist part a second time when the replacement hands wouldn't fit!

Dustbunnie, if you were as crazy as me, you'd have 18 ... Well, or at least 15 Shiwoos, I think that's how many versions there are of the head. But if there was a Pukifee Lishe, I'd probably end up with at least three of them... (one in each skin colour).

I'd also love a Pukifee El and if possible a Breakaway, I did at one point doubt they'd be able to do a Breakaway small enough... then they did him in LTF size...

And I spotted a desire for Bonnie spam... here's some for you:

I am so unfortunate just when I have absolutely no funds available Fairyland decides to go for a tan Pukifee event. Just my luck...I guess that beautiful tan Ante will just have to wait. I'll just live through all the beautiful pictures here for the meanwhile.

Oh my! Pukifees are so cute, but the tan skin is really gorgeous! Too bad I don't have any funds available at the moment. Probably a good thing as I wouldn't know which one to choose anyway.

No... I don't think there is such thing as "enough" when it comes to BJDs. Particularly with Pukifee it seems! (But then for me it doesn't happen with Lishes or Breakaways either!)

thanks guys for the suggestions!! i originally wanted her to be the bonnie sculpt but was too scared to do mods on anything other then the free event plate, so i decided this was a good enough excuse to replace her as a bonnie in the meantime i'll get some ear plugs to try and keep her head together, thank you auntbear! loving the bonnie spam in this thread at the moment as well!

 

When it comes to BJDs you can never have enough, no matter if you have any space left or not

 

It's funny but one of the reasons I am having such a hard time deciding on which second pukifee to order along with Vanilla is because I have already set a limit onto how many I will be getting in total. I like to have a lot of things for each doll that I get so I limit the number. My inspiration for the way I collect comes from antique trunk dolls.

Dustbunnie Yes, I did make Allie's coat myself. I'm currently tweaking my pattern a bit and working out some variations so it will fit my pukifees and my Lati Yellows and my AE tiny!

 

This is my little darling, Vanilla Bean! I am really loving her sweet size!!! I have been enjoying everyone's photos!!! I have been thinking about ordering one of the little tan sweethearts while they are available! Just having a hard time deciding which one! LOL
