Fairyland PukiFee discussion Part 1

Oh thank goodness I am safe! None of the summer event goodies appeal to me so I'll be waiting a while longer before placing another Fairyland order. Bijoux isn't too happy about it but my wallet sure is.

 

TPR I hope you are able to get everything sorted out with DDE/Fairyland. He's very cute though!!

I feel the same way about the RealPuki....incredibly cute, but just too small for me. Pukifee is as small as I can go. That little Soso's face is sucking me in though. I can't go look at him anymore or he'll convince me that he's just the right size. *not listening*

 

My pukifee is finaly here! I ordered her in May, so it took her 3 months to get here. But I'm terribly happy with her.

Oh my goodness TPR I'm so sorry to see Orsis's messy face! He really is still cute thought despite all that lol. Hopefully either DDE or Fairyland will be able to correct the problem for him.

Sandraugiga your new little darling is just...darling!!!!!! I just adore her wig both in colour and style and her little dress is so precious.


Bijoux was still rather upset about not having a bonnie friend or big sister ante come home to play with her, but I reminded her that now I will have the money to buy her wigs and more outfits and shoes. She instantly forgot her upset and is busily making a wishlist of all the things she wants (who taught her to use my computer?)

I've been so busy with real life, that this list just zipped by...I wanted to share Nutshell, again. I found that I had a wig I liked on hand, just needed to trim her bangs a little



I am going to devote some time this week, to making her clothes, and making clothing to put up for sale on my website, which needs to have the Pukifees added to it.... so far behind!

Yeah... Bijoux is pretty materialistic... But i think it's really more that she's easily distracted lol. Also the poor thing has been stuck with her default wig and she really does need some new hair.

She also has big sister Custom House dolls already on their way to her so I think that is helping somewhat. She just wanted Fairyland friends. She's still demanding them, but is willing to be patient with the incentive of some wigs haha.

 

TPR - Take lotsa pics of the damage, but then try out the dry magic eraser. When my ante came in, her smudges were at least as bad - magic eraser got it all off. The only reason I cared about getting a replacement face was that her lip was also chipped pretty badly. But the smudges came completely off. Maybe Osiris will be ok and you won't have to wait for a new one!

 

Nutshell is cute!

I need to learn how to make pants. Dresses are not that bad to make, but pants...

Are those the default eyes you got with Nutshell? I got green eyes too.

I strongly suspect 12mm is too big.

Wig size is 5,5"

 

i was going to order a pkf for this event, but i fell for ltf rachel instead. it looks like matsuri will have to wait. especialy because her big sister aya got lost on her journey and hasent come home yet. =(

 

Nutshell has a dress, now.....

I made this from a pattern meant for the Puki's, but it came out too big....I was somewhat disappointed at the time, but kept it anyway.....whoohoo, it fits Nutshell!!

There is no resisting the Pukifee! I've not tried 12mm, but I can try some in and take a picture for you if no one else has a picture.

yes please! i cannot seem to find pics and i found a pair of 12mm that are perfect but not sure if they will fit.

i was checking out Sunny's Wonderful World on ebay but there are two different wigs for 1/6 dolls anyone know which will fit?

 

Sadly, 12mm definitely does not fit in them... I've tried glass ones, gumdrops, and ED eyes, all to no avail. I wouldn't get anything other than 10mm for them.

 

AHHH! I just got home 30 sec ago... And right outside the door was the ems box!!! (That never happens! I'm always supposed to sign for packages right? Oh well - I love my delivery man - and my neighbors for not stealing... But as I live in the largest suite on the floor, its further from the others sight anyway...*rants*)

I think they turned out too red. I was going for a "I ate cherries" look, but it turned out to be a "I tried mummies lipstick"look.

Oh well, next face up better... I need to learn how to apply the pastels in a good way.

I can't pack myself because of my dissability so the mover will do that. What I have to do is separate what I'm taking with me and what will be thrown away. Even that is very difficult for me and I don't know what I should have done if it wasn't for a friend who have been helping me a lot.

I'm trying to find someone who'll come and gather what can be used - like The Salvation Army (You do have that in other contries, right?) or something. Both because I feel bad about throwning perfectly fine things away and because I'll have to pay acording to weight what I throw away.

I did pack up all my dolls except Tjalfe, Gro and Ilvara who are my favorits and Emmelia who just arrived though. My friend took them to her place today and I'll get them after the move is over.

Okay, so I may have a small problem....I comissioned spampy for an outfit for my future Zoe (who I wanted to be a sister/friend for Tika) My order arrived in the mail today and guess who claimed them?



She's called dibs on the clothes and seems to have vetoed the sister.

 

The girls got their Spampy socks today, to go with their new outfits---they are pretty happy!

I called DDE on Saturday because I wanted to make my last payment. I put a basic PukiFee Ante and some other stuff on layaway, May 29th. When I asked if my PukiFee had come in yet, the lady at DDE told me, "No, but she should be here any day now." Imagine my surprise when I saw the priority mail box on the stairs when I got home from work!

She has already told me that her name is Joy. She is such a sweetheart. I will have some non-faced up Ante spam this weekend.
