Hi! I'm putting my head in to say that I have 6mm glass eyes on my multi head Cupid and my daughter's Ante. I think they look great!



This is my little Cupid, Ivy. I have her looking up, so you can't see all of her eye, but she looks very bright eyed and cute! I changed her eye position since this photo, and she's looking off to the side more, and you see all of her eyes. I don't think they look too small at all!

 

This thread doesn't see enough action!! My girl has a wonderful new wig now! She reminds me of the Doc from Back to the Future. Does Doc sound weird for a girl name? lol

Sher, I agree about the proportions but was nervous about saying so on this thread incase it caused offence. I would so like to see a photo of the new ones naked to see the proportions because they do seem to work better than some other photos I've seen - not on this thread I hasten to add!

 

Being an artist who likes a bit more realism (some lol), I like these heads much better. They are approximately the same proportions as pukipuki head on puki body and littlefee head on littlefee body. Plus I just couldn't get used to the weight of the pukifees head anyway. It was too awkward for me to pose.
I do agree though that it seems VERY odd to release these with multiheads all of a sudden. I wonder why this sudden slightly odd release?

 

Sher, the Multiheads have been released before as gift event heads, so they indeed are smaller than regular Pukifee heads. There should be an old comparison pic in Fairyland´s site, and lots of pics here in DoA.

The Multihead is something between the Pukifee and PukiPuki head; on Pukifee body it is like "normal" head just like PukiPuki looks with it´s normal head, or almost like Littlefee does. Then the Pukifee head is big for the body proportions, and just in the same way the Multihead looks on PukiPuki body.

In my opinion, the bald Multihead on Pukifee body looks first odd because we´ve used on seeing the big bobble headed Pukifees, but when there´s wig on you don´t pay attention on that. (As seen in lovely pics on page 1.)

In my opinion a bald Multihead on Pukifee body looks first a bit oddly tiny, but with wig it´s very normal and cute looking (like in lovely pics on the previous page 1) and on the PukiPuki body it is quite big looking, but cute as well. I think it´s just matter of taste.

 

So those of you who really enjoy the multi-heads which do you prefer, the Puki size body or the Pukifee size body? Any other bodies out there that you've found that work great? I know the Brownie bodies are a good choice, but what about an in between body size?

Yes I was going to suggest the blog too. I have a Cupid Multihead (surpised?) and I actually had it on an Orientdoll Joong body once! Wigs can be made for them and FL has them. You can use Bisou Ai wigs from Ruby Red Galleria I'm sure.

 

Interrupting with a picture of Felicia. Finding "her" wig has inspired me to take more pictures of her lately. I am going to try some different ways to style it though. I don't end up using a lot of mohair wigs so I am unfamiliar with styling them.

Sher, I've been looking for a 4-5 wig for my BBB and although it is slightly more difficult to find on bjd sites, there are still a lot of 4-5 wigs out there. Mudoll (glib) has a few. Parabox has a ton of 4'' and 4.5'' wigs. Ebay has some, too. Also try 'Hujoo baby wigs'.


The new Zefi face looks a lot like Bonnie. They're both so cute! I can't wait to see owner pics.
I still don't know how I feel about pukifee head sizes. They both work well and yet I feel like the normal head is just slightly too big, and the multi head is just slightly too small.

 

I like both heads! Really waiting to see what new pukifee I'll get, so far I only have girls so maybe it's time for a boy!

I hadn't been looking at doll things for awhile and then when I was reading thru news I'd missed and such I saw these guys... wondering if anyone with a multihead has tried one of these bodies with a multihead?

...I really like the look of them, but am not sure if they're the in-between size I think they are or not. (I'm hoping the body is a bit smaller than the pukifee body and bigger than the pukipuki body, at least in breadth. I don't mind having a leggy tiny, but the shoulder breadth can bug me...)

 

I don't know if it's my eyes playing tricks on me, but I've tried really hard but I still think the multihead on the pukifee body looks smaller than the multihead on the pukipuki body! Which they shouldnt be since they're both multiheads, unless it's the difference in sculpts? Please let me know if you're seeing this too so that I know I'm not crazy hahaha.

 

I put my Cupid Multihead on a Serendipity Cumi body and really love her this size. She's a bit taller than a PukiPuki, but very slender.

 

jteoaiwei I think it's because the pukifee's body is kind of wide in the torso. If that body was a touch taller and a touch slimmer then it would be a better fit. On the pukipuki it looks bigger because that body is smaller and thinner. It's all about where the outer edges of the head hit in line with the body. Here's my try with photoshop. It's really hard to do eyelashes on such a small picture but I feel like I have more of a sense of the possibilities now. I think we all should give it a go! I'd love to see yours anthrogirl.

I got my Juri multi head this morning and spent most of the day working on her faceup. I've really been on a freckle kick, diggin' it. lol. She's on a pukifee body which I think is PERFECT!

I think the reason I got her so quickly was because I ordered her mainly with hands, lol. No full dolls.

Hello! I just thought I'd post my Juri 2011 multihead. She's a white skin. I was surprised to see how small she is (I don't have a body for her yet and I 've never seen a pukifee or puki puki in person) Also none of the 4-5 wigs I have fit. I guess you need 3-4 size?!

 

I don't have two pukifee bodies or I'd take a picture of my mom's multihead and my pukifee pong together 'cause my mom's multihead is on a non-fairyland body that's an in-between size (bigger than a puki, smaller than a pukifee) so that wouldn't help too much regarding the new bonnie girl.

I think that in this picture the difference looks pretty crazy, but I think that when wigged and clothed that it wouldn't look bad.

 

I'd like to know too, as I'm looking for wigs for my mnf, might as well get a few for my multihead.
but re-read this thread again, as well as the wiki, it says 4-5, though Rikki said they don't fit. Do you think monique wigs size 4-5 would be good fit? I don't know if they even sell size 3-4 O_o;;;

the fairyland Website says the Multihead circumference is 10.5cm (a little more then 4 inches) so a size 4 wig should fit (or maybe a stretchy 3/4?)

also 1mim sells really nice mohair wigs and she has a multihead to fit on, so they fit perfectly!

I found another thread discussing about wigs for puki. Since puki and mh only .5mm difference.

Ingy: I don't think you need to worry much. they do offer them in basic don't think it's limited.

By the way, will she be on a PukiPuki body or a Pukifee body? (My Juri's going to be on a Pukifee body.)

Her name is going to be Charlie (short for Charlotte) and I'm going to commission her face-up from GamerGirlLexi, but I have to save up a bit more (the Junkyspot Limhwa pre-order has eaten my paypal account whole!)

I'm hoping the dark brown 3/4 wig I have will stretch to fit Charlie(maybe with a little modifications) but If not I've got a few back-up wigs that my BBB Elfkin used to wear.

eventually she'll be on a PKF body, but for now she'll share my Pukipuki's body, but If you really like the pukipuki body, Kelly doll clothes and shoes fit perfectly so clothing it can be quite inexpensive.

I've seen people put multiheads on 25cm Obitsu bodies and a few others. I guess it depends on what size mature body you're looking for.

 

Is it just me, or is FairyLand getting the orders out a LOT faster lately? People are getting their event orders already? I'm so excited for my Zefi and Juri. Whoever gets their Zefi first has to post him RIGHT AWAY!!! (Pretty please?) More Juri's too!

 

I do think FL is moving quickly this time. I wonder if it's because they aren't having to do some of the dolls (rp, pp) that makes their production / turn around time quicker. I was just thinking about a little bit ago..

My Rolly and juri mh are already on their way from DDE (should get them tomorrow) and I just ordered in Oct.. so I'm excited. I'm going to check on all of it, then box it back up and give to hubby to put up for Christmas. I felt so bad spending so much money right at the holidays.. I've got too many rl kids to buy for and to buy something for myself just feels really bad. So to compensate, putting it up for Christmas feels better.

 

madaise, you're might be right on that one.
I read on FL twitter that it could be that they stop certain lines, speeding up others. that, and they could have more people working as well.

uhm, so I got the juri multihead for the autumn even from fairyland. I put the face plate on the head piece to take a picture of it, but now I can't get the face plate off...

how to you get the face plate off... this is not like normal fairyland face plates (I deal with my pukifee and littlefees just fine, this is different, it's like it's locked down), and it pretty much feels like I'm going to break it trying to get it off.

 

Nayru: I had the same problem with my Multihead, I eventually (after 20 minutes!) managed to seperate them enough to slide in a tiny knitting needle and pry it open the rest of the way, but I did scratch the top of the back a little bit

 

Awww! She's so cute! I got a puki (madeleine) for my juri head, but I think Maddie is so sweet ... I decided to save up for a pukifee body for the juri head too (and I want juri to be a boy).

Mine did the same thing - glad to see it wasn't just me - and anthrogirl too? I wonder if that's typical for the multiheads.. Marxwyn - can you get your multihead off easily?

I did get mine off, but kinda worried me that something would get scratched or it'd go flying out of my hands or something. eek!

mh head, yes I had same problem as everyone. I attached it to Zefi's headback, and had hard time taking it off. I was afraid I dented the head with my force >_< I had to use a scalpel (x-facto knife) to get it open. luckily didn't break anything. Same with the headback that came with juri. I think it's really a tight fit. Perhaps Juri's little triangle thingy a hairline too big.

 

Tami E - According to DDE the multihead takes 8mm eyes. I think everyone is seeing Zefi as a multihead bonnie. I never found out if it was a naming mix-up on FL's part or what but I don't know why FL would give a multihead and a regular pkf the same name. Did anyone order the multihead Bonnie? I'd love to see her with a custom face up. I know Rolly looks really amazing with a custom.

Got my multihead Juri from DDE yesterday and we were trying on Christmas outfits for my dolls. Juri is on my PKF Ante's body in that picture, lol. He'll be sharing her body until I can get him his own.

 

I have a multihead Juri! and I was lucky enough to find a brand new pukifee body for him right away from someone on flickr! Only I can't show him off--or the minifee Mirwen he came with, because they are my Christmas pressies from my husband! I got to check them out and see if everything was OK and now they are back in their boxes and put away until Christmas. It's just as well since I will have NO time before Christmas for face ups or anything, though.

My Juri is going to be a boy with red hair too. Isn't it funny that a few people have looked at that blank face and decided he would be a red head? I have a thing for red headed dolls, though... I have a carrot red wig already picked for my Mirwen, too.

Does anyone know where to find cute BOY wigs in the multihead size?

 

I'm not too sure about boy wigs but Mimiwoo carries Hujoo baby wigs that are a size 4-5, and they have free shipping. My Juri has stolen my pkf Bonnie's body for the moment. When I put the heads side by side the pkf head looks GINORMOUS.

 

Here's a pic of a Hujoo baby head next to the multihead and regular. I think it's most proportionate with this size.

 

I think it is the "maturity" and realism of the Juri sculpt which makes him (her) look perfectly proportioned on the pukifee body (like a small child, not a baby). Mine is still nude and bald ,but with eyes now, and I just think he looks so cute!!! (my husband hid away the minifee for Christmas but let me keep the Juri out!)

I am declaring him to be a boy, and am naming him "Max". Max is NS on the 11 cm Light Skin Obitsu body. It's not a perfect match, but still pretty good!

I will probably go back into lurker mode: My photography skills are so poor as to be dependent on the weather, and sunny days have been few and far between, lately.

well no juri photo from me, mine probably won't have a body for quite a while.
but here's Zefi with a mohair wig from leeke, despite not really prefer mohair, but wanted to try if size 3-4 fit. fits good, once can get it on properly. If it doesn't pop back (due to the stretchy cap), it stays.



I also bought Leeke LSO size, and fits great as well. It still slide off easily, but suprisingly, won't fall from upside down Zefi.

 

Oh! OH OHOhOH OHOH! *jumps up and down* I just had the most AMAZING idea!!!! What if I dyed my Juri head and a pukifee body to make my own choco puki fee? I think that Juri would make a really cute choco. Juri has the fuller lips and the wider nose. Wouldn't she be so CUTE?????????????????????
Ok, what do you all think? I want a milk chocolate/ cocoa brown color like choco pukis have. I've been studying the dyeing threads and tutorials. I think I can do it. *knocks on wood*
