@Rosslyn @redmaiko Your Mirwens are wonderful! Mirwen has that bold, fierce face! They are actually my favorite Minifee sculpt. Now if they made one with elf ears, I'd flip.

Speaking of elf ears, I was so disappointed when the event heads with elf ears all were expression faces! I am marked safe from this event, although I can't wait to see owner pictures when they come in. I just really want an elf sculpt without fangs that is not an expression face!

 

The new Miwa set is sooooo cute. I really want the new limited Dollfie Dream though so I'm probably going to have to pass on Miwa. Luna on the other hand... I'm very tempted and will probably try to figure out how to make all the numbers work with a layaway on Luna.

I'm not sure how I feel about the event heads to be honest. I want to like them, but since I don't have El or Lishe, I wish they were more neutral faces?

 

Oh dear. I've just learned that not only are the "lookback" heads available separately, they're available in tan...

 

Yes, and if you still make the $750, you can still get the event head. - sorry! I don't mean to be an enabler, but it was something I had to think about.

 

I'm sitting on this consideration as well right now. I'm over $750 for my current order and I can't decide if I want to get the Lishe event head or the Luna faceplate. I'm getting Luna so it's a hard choice

I might go for Lishe and then try to pick up the luna faceplate down the line from someone else.

I'm seriously considering making an order, because I just love the El heads. The older Delf El was always my favorite doll, and the MNF version wasn't quite the same. These Lookback heads really look closer to the Delf version, don't they?

 

@erika2 The event ends on October 31st from what I saw. I was thinking the same about the heads. They look different, smaller eyes maybe? But fairyland says the only difference is space for magnets. Eitherway I order tan lishe, I’ve been trying to get tan lishe for a while and it always escapes me. (discontinued brought back and discontinued again!)

Fairyland said that about the heads? They look different to me - both El and Lishe... Could it be just the images they shared that make it look that way?

I'll have to pass on Lishe, though she is great too, but I might try to get at least one El.

Well, after being in this hobby for nearly 10 years...I've bought my first ever Minifee! On layaway from DDE - a Tan El on the active line body I'm soooo thrilled to see everyone's lookback Els and Lishes come in!

 

Does anyone know how long the al la carte and basic doll packages are taking recently? I ordered the following dolls from DDE:

Ooh, congrats on your El! I put a tan Lishe boy on layaway too, I am excited and hopeful for the character I hope he will be!

 

According to the waiting rooms, it's taking 6+ months. I ordered a tan Alan through DDE in March, and he finally arrived last week.

 

I told myself when I returned to this hobby that I would never buy another minifee since my first doll was one and I never bonded with him but then I saw Honoka and this droopy eyed little angel made me change my mind. + Minifees seem to be some shortest minis that exist so it works perfectly for the character idea I have.

I'm buying the head second hand from someone on Instagram and I'm hoping to find the body separately like that too. I just wanted to join the discussion already... And maybe ask for more pictures of Honoka? she's so cute!

Hi everyone! I'm tentatively thinking of getting Miwa fullset (I love all her available faces from it) but I'm still undecided so I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how long is the ordering period for the fullest/designer version? Is it until Halloween or is it a month from the date it started (22nd Sep - 22nd Oct)? Asking to see how much time I have to think about it and I could not find the info anywhere

EDIT: ok, I see Denver Doll has the event listed as until 31st Oct - I'm guessing they would know the right date, so at least some time to think about it. Hmm... Denver Doll does offer quite a nice layaway plan...

 

I haven't been a doll owner for many, many years now but I went to the Fairyland site on a whim* yesterday, saw El and Lishe for sale, my first dollfie loves back when they were bigger and came in "beauty green" and had to buy them both.

I haven't bought their bodies yet though as I was wondering, especially for the girls, which body tends to fit most clothes? If anybody could help me with that, I'd be eternally grateful


*I'm decluttering the house and have boxes and boxes of SD13 sized things but 60cm dolls don't really work for me now, so I was wondering if there was anything smaller that might interest me. Apparently, yes.

 

@Ishamael minifees are one of the most popular dolls out there these days, so finding clothes for them is super easy, but I would guess that the Active line body would be easiest to dress.

New to posting on DOA. I was wondering if people could post some pics of Minifee girls with default company faceups? My Minifee was a blank doll that my artist niece painted for me. I am thinking of ordering one of the girls with a company faceup from DDE, but would like to see the faceups first

 

Are you looking for any specific mold to view? There are so many MNF molds to choose from! Even the "boy" heads can be girls.

 

I am particularly drawn to Maya and Sircca at the moment.

Question: does anyone know if the male moe body will be available again or if it's out of stock for good?

 

My girl is on the active line body, and I have been able to find quite a bit for clothing on Etsy. For shoes, I like Ebay seller He-meife. I have even found some old Tonner clothing pieces that fit (depends on the piece).

I love Mirwen! One of my local doll friends has a Feeple60 Mirwen that she let’s me borrow sometimes for reference when I make 1:3 scale props.

 

I'm fairly sure you can purchase them right now with the Look Back El and Lishe heads.

 

Well I ordered a Look Back MNF on a Motion boy body, so that seems strange.

EDIT: If you have a look at the Look Back Minifee option on Denver Doll, it gives an option for the following bodies: Active Line Girl, Moe Line Girl, Motion Line boy, Active line boy. There is also a photo of the Moe boy body. So perhaps I'm mislabelling?

 

Mirwen is my favorite sculpt. I hope to get her in a Feeple60 as well!

@eleniel I agree with you about the motion line boy body. It has really solid posing ability!

 

I ordered a Motion line body for my Juri20 so it's good to know that is seems to be a solid one. I also caved in and ordered Lookback heads basic El and Lishe both in tan... not sure if that's a wise decision buuut I really hope to buy bodies for them later since my previous order was bigger. (I bought Motion body for Juri and A-line body for tan Marcia).

Finally got myself out and photograph my Siean Elf outside. Her name is Irma.

 

It's all very strange. I admit to not really having paid attention to Fairyland much for the last couple of years - I'm not a particular fan of their line of sculpts post Chloe/Mirwen, so I've paid less and less attention.

I find it annoying occasionally when they leave all the old stuff out and then suddenly there's three heads to collect (last time thought it was four Ital/Breakaways, so this is slightly less of a problem)... I'm finally getting a WS Lishe - and the Elf head, although I would have preferred an OE rather than the "winking" one. And I caved and finally got a MNF El too.

I count myself lucky I already purchased my tan Lishes previously, and I'm not that worried about event heads in different resin colours, thankfully!

Since we were talking about tan Lishes, here are mine (and yet again remind myself that I need to take more photos).

 

How many variations of tan do they have? I got a tan sleeping Chloe head with my tan Ria but it is a lighter tan and the seller put it in there because they weren't collecting that size of dolls and she was getting rid of everything she had including clothes, shoes, wigs and the extra head but it doesn't match. I have the COA's from DDE and asked her why it was a different color and she said she had the same question but never got an answer so I was curious. The poor head sit in the box. It is painted very nicely by Angel Toast I believe but I will never use it and thought about selling it but how do you sell it when you don't know what the proper color is? Did they do different versions, is it an older color they discontinued?

Tans vary slightly from any company and that one looks like maybe a lot of the red tones have merely faded with age as well. Nothing a good faceup can't fix.

 

@jenlovesdolls If my dolls prompted the question, then sorry - my Lishe on the left is a Tanning doll, a colour that was only cast when they were selling through Luts. The one on the right is the current tan colour, which as @Rosslyn said, and that can vary. It can also vary according to where it was kept etc.

Otherwise Fairyland has done one other tan colour, but only for Chiclines (it's a light tan). Here the three are (the current colour is in the middle).

 

It reminded me, the head is in the box so I don't think about it too often, but seeing your post did remind me to ask the question.

Mostly why I'm worried about buying them bodies later isn't the colour match, but I feel like this was the only time I've seen tan bodies sold without heads. I know the full doll isn't that much more with a head but I don't cope well with heads without bodies so it would bother me to have them for long without body... I feel tan heads (what ever mold they are) don't sell without body, so getting rid of any extra heads might be difficult. I'm also thinking maybe Fairyland will put the most wanted old heads in their lookback category for limited time since now there's El and Lishe, maybe later there'll come some others too.

I love your Lishes, I used to have a Luts Minifee Tanning El but I sold him to a friend so I can see him sometimest (which is amazing).

 

Well... I ended up ordering the El heads.... Now the long wait begins...

@Annaku your girl is so pretty! I love her color scheme and her little friends. You can't go wrong with a Raouken corset either, lol!

Violet was being mischievous and trying on someone else's clothes while I finish her layaway. Dang it, she is my color mode kitten for a reason, she even manages to pull off my least favorite color somehow!

I think it would be fun to take her outside and use this as inspiration for a little photo shoot!

 

Monet fell of the shelf yesterday and now has a scrape on their cheek, I assume from rubbing against the wall anyone know what I can do about it that won't ruin the face-up? I havent touched it at all as I'm terrified of making it worse, and I don't have the supplies nor the ability to cover it up to hide it.

A very light touch with a barely moist Magic Eraser should do the trick. It looks like the wall paint or plaster is on her face more than likely.

 

I secind what mollym said it looks like. As a test you could also lightly poke it with a slightly wet Qtip, if you do not have a magic eracer.
