Ooh, do you have any full body pics of him?? His outfit looks lovely! Fantasy ones are harder to get for the minifee than I thought.

He’s one of my first fullsets. I think I wanted it just as much as the doll. I switched out his shoes and put them back in the box. Just like these better.

 

@IngieBee Aw, thanks! I love her so much, she's so pretty! I think I actually prefer her face up on the darker resin!

I also gave a temporary face up to my Nanuri21. I'm still not certain I'm keeping her, since she's a bit more childish than what I prefer, but she's pretty cute.

 

@brightberry I can see why! It is a lovely fullset. I was like that with my Dina. She is just... I dunno, magical and perfect in her fullset to me. She is my first fullset doll, all my others are bought blank and customized.

Yoki, my Luha, has the default faceup, but that may change. Haven't decided.

@IngieBee Thank you and unfortunately, no she is not an elf. I keep waiting for a sculpt from fairyland with elf ears but without fangs but they don’t seem to have any anymore.

 

@Dollquest , Oh, her ears looked like they could be... if you like DES or dark elf soo, you might find her in the marketplace. I love mine, she is very pretty. I can't believe she was discontinued

@brightberry: Thank you~ She needs some better eyes and I haven't tried out the fanged head yet. I never thought I would have this character shelled in anything but my SD Soom dolls. Seeing her being so... little and cute as a minifee just tickles me pink. She isn't thrilled with me I don't think. Cute is not in her descriptive words LOL.

I know! I get so excited every time they come out with a doll with elf ears, only to find out she has fangs too. I like my vampires to be vampires and my elves to be elves

Oh and there have been so many beautiful dolls posted on this thread in the last couple of days!!

Does anyone here know if fairyland would be willing/able to track a COA number to help determine which doll it belongs to? Some of my COAs lost their sticky note labels and I have no idea which dolls they belong to anymore

 

@mickeystar12 I think fairyland could help, their response via email are slow but will eventually give you some answer.

 

I have been so looking forward to Minifee Alan, then I saw a few photos/videos on Instagram and I am not liking his profile much. I hope that changes when he arrives!

 

Oh I hope you like him too. Sometimes Fairyland surprises up with their profiles.

I am curious, does anybody here have a tan boy Mirwen? I am considering getting one while the tan order period is open. If anything, I'll take some any color boy Mirwen spam!

 

I have one currently in my cart! I am currently working on my NS Mirwen girl (picture in my Instagram), but thinking of having a tan male twin. I keep waffling between muscular and non muscular. Leaning toward the non tho. I would love some Mirwen spam too, please!

 

Does anyone know when the next event head period might be? I know this event head (Juri 2021) period goes until August, but I already have an event Dina 2020 from a friend on the way and the heads are too similar for me. So if I'm going to place a large order that would get me an event head, I rather it be one that doesn't basically look like a duplicate of a head I already own...

 

You can also get the event head by placing a large order of any of the a la carte Fairyland dolls (some of which are now offered in tan during this period). OR... The next Event head is usually Halloween. I think that starts around September/October.

 

I'm not a fan of this current event head, but I'll keep an ear to the ground around September then! Thank you!

 

@dancingkitsune I am not as thrilled with it as I have been of other event heads, but I really like the Full Set and I did not get a Dina (I agree they look similar). I just look at the Fairyland WaitList from last year and it seems that people started ordering the Halloween event items the very end of September.

 

I feel like I never share my Minifees on this forum but my Mirwen is finally complete after a trip back from the faceup artist! I’m not sure what to name her yet but I’m obsessed.

 

Your Mirwen is so cute yet fierce at the same time! I can't wait till I order my own one day!

If you want tan, you'll have to order this period. If you want NS or WS, you can wait till the Halloween event, which usually starts late September-ish.

Out of curiosity how many people are still waiting for Alan?

I'm really confused why my order hasn't shipped since so many of them had. I ordered about an hour after the event opened. I was waiting for it to open lol! and he was paid off long ago. Just seems like a lot of people are getting theirs so I'm trying to see if it's worth politely inquiring if he came in yet.

I'm patient, it's just a little annoying seeing orders placed a week or so after mine come in first.

 

Did you order directly from FL or through a dealer? I’ve heard a lot of people have gotten them through dealers but FL direct orders are still waiting?

 

I ordered through DDE. Several people who ordered through DDE a week or two after me have received their full packages already. And mine is in NS so nothing different.

That's interesting about direct though, it's usually the other way around

 

I don't think contacting DDE would be a problem. They respond to their email usually within 24 hours. It's not like they are going to hold your order back or anything. Although I d know that Fairyland makes their orders in batches and it might just be that yours had something different in it. I also was under the impression that only some of the Alans had come through so far.

 

No I definitely don't think they're holding my order. I've been dealing with them for years, I don't think I've ever NOT had a layaway with them lol!

I'm just confused about things coming out of order, since I ordered so early and others didn't. Especially if DDE sends orders out to FL once a week in batches. And I didn't get faceups on any extra heads or anything out of ordinary.

I wanted to ask here first so I didn't bother them unnecessarily.

 

Fairyland works in mysterious ways. I ordered directly from them on the first day and had mine shipped last week, though some DDE ordered were shipped before mine.

I didn’t get the little caterpillar though, so maybe that’s a factor?

 

Seeing the Mirwen’s here - I wanted to share my little gal - “Miette” - softly painted
by the amazing VittaVera. I thought she could use a bit of whimsy - so here she
is in a bright angora wig! and her gorgeous Raouken corset.

 

As I was writing the email I got a shipping notice XD so yay Alan!

 

I'm still waiting on a full set Alan my S.O. order for me near later in the sales period for them.

I just sold her this week but the Chloe I had was purchased in 2010 directly from Fairyland by me and she DID NOT have her name carved inside her head.

Alan was delivered to my split partner! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to receive my parts

 

I ordered a full set Alan with DDE near the end of the order period and I actually got an email last week that it arrived there!

 

Glad to see that the Alan's are shipping out! I still have a bit of a wait since I ordered my boy in tan.

 

So excited to see all the Alans coming in!! He's the sculpt that got me interested in Minifees, so I can't wait to see some owner pictures!!

Also, since I don't know much about Minifees — was there ever a minifee sculpt (maybe event head?) that had double eyelids with epicanthic folds...? I swear I found a tag on instagram (or at least a handful of posts) for a minifee sculpt with eyes like that the other day and I thought it was super beautiful, but I can't find it again... is this a real sculpt or did I fall in love with a mod HAHAHA

 

@huiaiz. I believe that Juri20 have one of the very prominent double eyelids. But there might be other sculpt having those kind of double eyelids too.
