Tan... I'm doomed..... but waiting to see what else fairyland may be hiding...

 

Ooo hopefully someone does a tan Hywayu! I keep thinking that would look absolutely adorable.

 

I love the new A line body and the motion boy body. The new boy would make a cute Finn from adventure Time. Sadly I well have to wait for the end of the month.

 

I've got my Iru (with his fantasy ears and gloves) ordered, but was pretty surprised when I saw his blank head at DDE yesterday. He wasn't quite as I imagined, but the Sarang event head I'm hoping will work nicely for a boy too

So yay! we can order tan Minifee this event, but I'm wondering if they'll offer a different line (Fairylines perhaps?) in tan for the next event, or even remove the tan option in favour of reintroducing one of the paused lines instead.

Its so hard to guess how their roadmap will play out.

After spending an evening shuffling through my doll stuff I finally found an outfit for my Hwayu that I adore on her! She still needs some accessories, but I can't stop gazing at her! Now I gotta figure a name for her! Hmmm..


How are everyone's Hwayus coming along? Anyone else struggling with finding a look that just screams "YES!!!"?

Hello! I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but I want to purchase a tan Chloe Minifee and Fairyland is apparently bringing back tan for their event starting this Friday! I guess I'm wondering if I should be concerned about them running out of dolls when I go to order? Is that a concern? I was going to try to order as soon as they're back on Friday. Thank you!

 

Need help with finding the right head for Rini. (salior moon) l want her to be cute but also she can kick butt kind of look. She will be a Active line body with small bust and model legs.

 

All dolls are made to order. I have not heard of them running out of a non limited doll during an ordering period. I would recommend going though an authorized distributor if you are very concerned but I don't think you need to worry about them running out.

 

Thank you very much for your response! This will be my first doll purchase, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I was just going to purchase directly from them. Is there a benefit or difference when going through a distributor?

Distributors offer layaway so you don't have to pay all at once, which can be a bonus

 

It depends on where you live. . Going through a distributor in your country can cost less in shipping. You also have more possibilities regarding lawaway. If you are in North America, Fairyland recommends going through their distributor, Denver Doll Emporium.

Does anyone know how the Sarang 2019 head compare in appearance with the Sarang 2014 head?

 

You can view the 2019 Sarang head on the Fairyline Image Blog, you can find the link on dollfairyland website on the left hand side a little towards the bottom. The Sarang 2014 head seems very different. The 2014 head looks rounder with a wider nose and almost a smile on her lips. 2019 head looks more serious, almost older with a narrower nose and no noticeable smile from the picture. But now that I look at the new version. No it isn’t the same at all. I have a hard time envisioning what blank sculpts look like with faceups in my head.

Not going to lie I'm a little shocked that people aren't freaking out over the new boy. But then again I just expect Fairyland to always get a good scream when they release something.... I know I do... or maybe it's just my wallet and not me.

I adore mori style and pieces of this outfit are very mori-inspired. Especially with the contrasting pants and shoes. His shorts are so perfect I can't even explain. Personally I am very happy FL released a boy that was more... boyish than girlish if that makes sense. And with smaller eyes. His style and everything is so perfect to what I love most I just can't pass him up. Husband said he'd be an early birthday gift and I am eternally grateful Q_Q Can't help but daydream about this boy on the horse body looking like some perfect frilly little dreamlike carousel horse.

I ended up splitting the gloves and rabbit ears since I'm not a fan of either, but I hope to see him hybridized on a Fairyline bunny body. The event head is not my thing, but hopefully someone else will want it. Now I just need more money for taaaannnn

 

@Littlebirdzoom I am freaked out over Iru, and I don’t even care for male dolls normally. He is seems more manly than the usual youth sculpts. I would order him in a heartbeat if only I had the space and money. I hope Fairyland will keep this sculpt around for a few years so I can decide later.

I hope yours will turn out great and show us some pictures.

 

Dose anyone own a minifee rin on the newer body due to need some cuteness due to it's been a stressful in the last couple of days.

Minifees and I don't get along. I can never seem to stick with them very long and my Lucywen was the one that got away. I think this boy is the one though. I haven't been this excited over an MSD in a long time

 

Iru is already in the a la carte graphic at DDE so it looks like you'll be able to come back to him later

 

I have a modified dreaming elf rin (her eyes were opened from dreaming) on the Moe body. She's still pretty cute even if she isn't the standard Rin or on the renewal A-line body. At least I think so.

Aaaaaand aaaah! Just got tracking info from denver doll for my moe line Sircca, a-line body for my mirwen, and nanuri '19-2 event head!

 

I took actual pictures with my camera for the first time since my wreck. I'll admit the screws in my hip weren't happy with me trying to sit on odd positions on the floor, but Violet was so cute I didn't care.

@malvinas it's too bad AT isn't doing mods anymore . I believe she started having reactions to resin if I remember correctly. Or maybe she still does some when it doesn't involve Sanding resin...? I can't remember! Dangerous work if you do it constantly!

 

@IngieBee I think she'll still do things like eye openings as long as the eyes aren't fully closed to begin with. So dreaming eye openings I believe she will still do, as long as the head isn't too small. I do believe you are right though and she won't do anything that involves sanding.

I have one question about the tan skin availability....I think I do not understand well,

Tan Skin Option will be available during 2019 Sarang Event Period for:

MiniFee : Full Package, Designer's Complete, A La Carte (*Renewed* A-line, Active line and Moe line) and option parts ONLY*

Does this means that the tan skin color will not be available for the fairyline?, just for A line and Moe?... :S

That's what it looks like to me. Tan Skin isn't showing up on anything on Fairyland's website but I've tried it on DDE's site and it seems like they only want it for A-Line and M-Line. While reading the disclaimer for the Tan, it sounds like they originally only wanted it for Iru and nothing else.

 

Oh i see, thank you so much for letting me know. That is a pitty, i wanted to order fairyline in tan color...

Edit: I confirm now there is no tan option for the fairyline...

And just to be sure, all the minifee heads on a la carte are provided with magnets right? or Am i wrong?

Did anyone get Hwayu's fullset/outfit and find it a little disappointing? Mine arrived today and her outfit seems... incomplete? T_T

Also cue anxiety, her eyelash is like this! Time to carefully warm it up and hope I can stick it to her actual... eyelid...

@brightberry By some miracle, it wasn't! I was able to get her eyes out, and I guess the glue had just... sagged while it was drying? So I held it by the little mini-heater in bursts and kind of just gently pushed it back into the eye line. We'll see if there's a significant change to her look once my roommate gives me the go-ahead to get her all done up, right now her entire opinion is that there are Teefs.

 

If they're a mold that normally comes with magnets, then yes they come with. Several of the older molds, however, do not have magnets or anywhere to install them in the head. They only started making that a thing the last couple of years.

 

I see, thank you for letting me know^^. I am not sure if for example the woosoo sculpt, ryeon and ante have magnets in her head?, because I have one Chloe and she has magnets, so I do not know...

I really wish some of their F60+ heads were available in Minifee size. I was in love with Erda but msd is as large as my collection goes.

 

WooSoo has magnets and the other two should as well. They're newer sculpts.

Hi all, can someone tell me what size silicone wig cap I should get for Minifee? I have Chloe and Woosoo and their heads are both right at 7" so I don't know whether to go with 6-7" or 7-8". If I remember right the silicone caps run small, so I'm thinking get the size up?

 

Honestly that 100% depends on the individual wig/company in my experience. Some run a bit larger and others smaller so It's always a bit of a toss up ^__^;;; I've never owned a silicon capped wig either tho so I'm afraid I'm a bit useless on that front lol.

On another note, took a quick shot of Altair and Gabe! I really need to get Gabe a new wig, tho... I like that red color but the cut is all wrong for him :/

 

l found out that the newer A-line high heel feet fit the new Moe line body Now l just wish fairyland would make the A-line bust sold separately so a person can put a small bust on a Moe line body.

P.S found the feet info on YouTube.

 

I got my Sircca and Nanuri 2 event head today! Though I ran into an interesting problem. I can't turn the locking mechanism on the body when putting the event head on. There are these ridges inside the head that block the lock from turning. Has anyone else received this head yet and encountered this problem? Does the Nanuri 1 have the same issue?

@Nii-san_Obsessed you've received your Nanuri 1 already right? Were you able to put it on an A-Line body? Did it have the ridges blocking the lock from turning?


Update edit: got home and tried her on the fairyline body and I was able to turn the neck mechanism so I guess my one fairyline body belongs to her now!

 

I have a 6-7 silicone wig cap from ebay on my Chloe and it fits fine

 

Does fairyland not do free shipping over a certain $$ amount anymore?

Only Shush head has magnets inserted whilst others (Ante, WooSoo and Ryeon) does not have magnets inserted in the head as of yet.

???, do you have a woosoo with magnets in the head?, maybe they made a mistake checking these specific heads to let me know? O__o

I think is over $800 but I am not totally sure..., I do not remember well sorry!

 

My WooSoo has magnets and I ordered her through DDE in 2013. I didn't think that they made MNFs with traditional hooked head caps anymore. Hardly anyone does.

 

I ordered my Woosoo and my Ryeon in June 2016 direct in Fairyland website and they did not come with magnets, so I thought they have magnets now, that is why I wanted to know.

Maybe you have the vampire woosoo and she has magnets?

Anyways I thought all new sculpts are having magnets, including the "old ones", since they were renewed, or that is what I thought anyway, but I guess not. Can someone who has woosoo, ante or ryeon from 2017 or 2018 confirm if they have magnets?

I can not show a photo of the inside of the heads of my girls since I am not home now for a while...

I have an old DES kicking around somewhere and I'm pretty sure she has magnets. Was this before or after Luts and Fairyland split?
