Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 62

It's been a while since I last cheked the minifee threads, but enjoy backtracking all the pictures people post here!
Dusted of my chessmess and snagged a fast picture of her (with my phone so sorry for the bad quality)

 

I’m not at home right now but I would be happy to take a picture for you when I get home. My Sircca Elf is on the new A-line body with large bust and she fits perfectly. I’m also pretty sure she would fit just fine on the Moe body too. I can take a picture of that as well, but it might look a little strange because the only Moe body I have is tan.

Here she is on the new A-line body and I think she looks like she was made with it. If you check out my flickr I also uploaded a picture of her without a wig, and another of her on the Moe body.

I own all three body types, and I’ve had my Sircca on both the F line and A line bodies (she’s been on an A line most of the time) and I don’t see any reason she wouldn’t fit on any of the three bodies. She’s available to order with all the bodies.

Here's my Elisolde! I want to get her some shoes soon, and have my eye on rrabit shoes. Does anyone have experience with them on Minifees? (Here's a link to their shoes!)

 

@caddyvamp I'd definitely recommend the A-line vs the moe because the Sircca head, in my experience, is a tad larger than the standard mnf heads, so I think she'd look a little bobble-headed on a moe-line >__<

@Wiske - If I'm remembering right (and it's entirely possible i am not so everyone else please feel free to chime in lol), rrabbit tends to run a bit on the large size for minifees. On the other hand, most shoes do 8'D

Thanks so much for your reply, this helps, I feared as much! Shame that they'd be too large, they're pretty cute otherwise. The search continues!

 

Wiske I resently bought some shoes from this shop on Etsy. They are a perfect fit and they came in the cutest littloe boxes like real sho boxes.

@Wiske Having bought several shoes of rrabit I do have to agree their shoes really run big. Personally i've made peace with it since their designs are just wonderfull. Absolutelly love your girl btw, beautifull even without shoes ;p Edit: You might want to chek out dollheart I know they used to produce slim clothing for liek minifee and unao, maybe they also have some smaller msd shoes.

Hiyoooooooooo MNF thread! It's been too long, hehe~ Sad to say, but a lot of my Minifees have flown away, I'm keeping only 5 of them (for now)!

But of course, Zephii is not gone, she was just bald for a while LMAO! She has a new, temporary wig to play with though!

Gosh, I haven't visited this thread in ages--I think the last time was actually a couple of threads ago. Anyway, I thought I'd share a clothing find. Here is my MNF Lishe wearing the "Red Flare Dress Set" from Sartoria J. The dress is made for 41cm Fashion Dollshe Craft girls, so you wouldn't think it would fit, especially with no stretch and a zipper up the back. The good news is it's such a perfect fit you'd swear it was made for MNF. You'll need to remove her hands to put on the sleeves. The hair bow attaches with straight pins.

This is my tan Celine Sinnamon. She has a custom face-up. She says that Celine is a great choice.

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone could answer my question. I read that the model legs on the old body were slightly shorter than the cutie legs, and I was wondering if this is still the case with the new active line body? I'm still unsure if I want to get cutie or model legs.

I honestly never noticed that there was any height difference between the cutie legs and the model legs but I have old A-Line and new A-Line model legs so I will try to remember to compare my girls tonight. I have both old and new A-Line of cutie legs as well so I'll compare with those as well. I'll let you know if I notice any height differences.

I thought I'd just share my new girl, tanned Ria, who arrived this week. I haven't quite found her style yet, but love her beautiful faceup by Rakeru Sensei.

@Sheenny So I checked my girls. The new renewal A-Line body with model legs when compared to the old A-Line body with model legs, to my eyes, looks to be able the same height. However, both are just a smidge shorter than my cutie legged girls.

 

@Sheenny - if the model legs are shorter than the cutie, it's not by a noticible margin. I own both, and honestly I think the individual head you have on a body makes a bigger difference lol. The real difference between the two types, especially on the original a-line bodies, is that the model legs are less curvy than the cutie, and they also don't have as much of a problem standing straight since the original cutie legs have an issue where one is just a little shorter than the other or something so one leg is constantly bent unless you work at it.

And no Celines here (someday... heh), but here's my shushu Seraphine with her el boyfriend Sam

 

No Celines here either, but I just received a TS SP Shushu who will be Marée, my water element. So two Shushus in a row!

I’m soooo in love with her. I do plan to send her for an eye opening and get her a new faceup, even though she is lovely like this. Even without a wig.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who has been AWOL for a long time! I thought I'd see how everyone is doing and share my new girl. She's a modded sleepy Alicia. I don't have a name or character for her yet but she looks like a grumpy teenager

@Ban Sidhe i love what you did with her eyes! They remind me a little of Shushu’s and it really matches the shape of her nose and lips. I wish FL would make a few new sculpts with eyes that don’t look WIDE open, but just a little more relaxed, they way you made yours. She definitely has a bit of a cynical expression!

 

No, I’d definity say that the model legs have better posing capabilities. There’s a minor error in the design of the cutie legs that makes one leg shorter than the other so they’re a little harder to pose (though not much once you’re used to it).

I'm really excited about finally getting a SophyMolly wig, but I'm not sure if it suits my girl right now. I'm trying to think if I should send her off for a new face up at this point, or if I should just keep it as is for now.

 

That wig is so beautiful with those little braids. I think it goes very nicely with her eyeshadow and lips.

anyone with a juri 14 have other minifees as well? i'm searching for a companion for mine and i'd love to see some group shots.
(if you have miyu, shushu, chloe, ante, or mir/mika even better!)

Hello again! I have another question. Anyone that has a juri13 head and other sculpts. What sculpt would you say is similar in size and shape to the juri13? I'm making a wig and the girl in question isn't here yet. I kinda want it to be done by the time she does arrive. The heads I have to work with are: El, Lishe, Juri14, Chloe, Celine, Mirwen and FLAM. If anyone can answer this it'd appreciate it!

@scummyghost here's my Juri14 and other sculpts. I'm afraid I only have a few bodies and many floating heads.

 

Hey guys... is the a-line full bust just... too much/hard to dress? XD
I'm going back and forth so much on this little detail. :P

 

It can be a challenge to dress. I believe my girl is wearing the cropped long sleeve shirt from Dollmore with an underbust corset from Ban Sidhe. Otherwise she wears the Ria witch set, which is for the big boobies, lol.
I find it amusing that they leave a slight indent on the top foam piece of the box. XD

 

if your doll is going to dress more towards a modern style i'd say it's not difficult, if you don't mind cleavage of course...

 

Here's a pic of my juri14 Fiona with a Ria and Seorin! I have a shushu too, I'll grab a picture of them together tomorrow (though there's a few already up in my flickr). I technically have a Mirka too but he's off getting his faceup and won't be back for at least another week >__< I'll snap a pic when I get him back though!

I've spent the last 3 days reading over everything in this thread, everyone has such pretty minifees.

I was surprised to see no Antes though a Tan Ante on the moe body is my grail.
Hopefully Fairyland with reopen soon, and hopefully they will do tan for this event, any one else just keep refreshing their site lol.

If no tan this time, i am tossing up between a NS Mio on moe, or a BW Niella on moe boy.

Come on Fairyland, we need dolliehs!!!

There is a "Notice for Re-Opening and Change in Order Procedure" on their website, but it is still locked Also Kim SunHwa just posted a new doll on their facebook page, but it is a feeple. It says Moe longleg version? She seems to have longer legs than a normal feeple, I wonder if we will get that as a minifee version.

There is a minifee version! I was totally heartbroken too but Niella was their last minifee full package release, I guess he just flew under our radar because who knew he had such pretty butterfly girl potential

I'm so super excited about it, I'm eventually going to have to commission an artist to do a copycat faceup of that full set because I neeeeeed her in minifee lol. That soft face is just precious

Man, that new feeple girl is gorgeous! I'm excited to see what else FL is coming back from their hiatus with, I'm sure it's not just that! Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be bad for my wallet, lol.

On a different note, after far, far too long, I finally have my boy Gabe back! He's not the original Shiwoo I sold (still regretting that to this day), but that's alright. I saw a scar Shiwoo on the marketplace a few weeks back and jumped on it because Shiwoos have become oddly rare on the market over the last couple of years for some reason o_O Used to be you couldn't throw a rock without hitting one here on the site and now you hardly see them at all. Backlash from how insanely popular they were there for awhile back when the elf shiwoo was originally made I guess, heh.

Anyhoo, him and his sister Kafka are finally together again at last! All he needs now is a new wig and they both need their proper faceups! Sooooooon *rubs hands*

So...does this mean that anyone in North America will now have to order through DDE rather than directly through Fairyland? That is...not good. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a good experience ordering small items from DDE. But the shipping to Canada from the US is just ridiculously high and we always get nailed with custom fees. Plus the extra long wait time. I was really excited for the reopening but this has got me kind of down

 

I'm from Australia, this is a huuuuuge issue for us now.
By the sounds of things, FL really would prefer everyone to order through DDE.
Postage from FL was $40 last time for me, but it was $100 from DDE when i ordered.
That's more than double, not to mention US tracking is non existent outside the US ... no matter how much you pay.
Oh snd the 2 week postage wait over 4 days from EMS.

Though i DO need a minifee....
I just can't decide who to get lol

I KNOW if we get tan in this opening that i will get a moe tan Ante, but if there is no tan this time i am tossing up between ....
