Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 60

I never posted my Minifee here even though I have her since... last year xD? My sister and I had a hard time finishing our twins but we managed to get them done now ♥ And I'm so happy they are finished~ We are probably taking those two on a trip with us this weekend so I need to sew something to wear for them~

I got some yosd-sized sneakers from Dollmore and they fit quite nice ♥ But I'd love to know a few more places to shop shoes for my girls!~

They are SO adorable! I would love to see more of them. I love this face mold. Their face ups are very nice and realistic.

 

@Ban Sidhe, some Etsy sellers make shoes for Moe and some larger YoSD shoes fit them, but I swapped out my daughter's Moe-Body Celine's feet for the A-line flat ones because I didn't want to deal with the hunt. LOL!

 

@Ban Sidhe I second what @Kirahfaye did. I just use the a-line feet so I can use JID boots/shoes and anything else that a regular girl could use. Summomo on etsy does make some really nice flats for the moe feet.

 

That is a good idea alas it doesn't help me I am asking because my Ziya has Moe sized feet. I did find those sellers on Etsy though - thanks for the tip. I was looking under MSD instead of Moe specifically and it was hellish trying to weed through them all

 

Does anyone have any experience using a magic eraser on Fairyland tan? I'm wondering if it would be safe to give my incoming girl a light magic eraser bath. I know sanding is out of the question.

 

@rebelle467, I only have one tan doll, but I would be very hesitant do use even Magic Eraser on tan skin. It is an abrasive, albeit very, very fine..

If you mean on a blank doll? It is fine - as long as you know what you are doing. I have used it on many blank dolls - IE: modding eyes open. I give the whole head a once over when I'm done so it looks consistent.
Just a side note: Magic Eraser IS a sanding foam. So it works just like a fine sandpaper.

Oh my gosh these ladies are so beautiful! I love how everyone's dolls are so different even when they're the same sculpt ^-^

Noble is a modded sleeping eye Kyle and doesn't think there should even be a debate over sculpts.......

 

Pete is a Carl (which... I think is one of the sculpts they seem to be discontinuing? I seem to have a thing for unpopular sculpts...)

I'm not sure why he's an unpopular sculpt, he's very charming and cute in person. And I'm not just saying that because he has a habit of bribing me with candy. It's an old picture and he's all out of candy to bribe me with. But I spent a chunk of my day today just playing around with him, getting different poses. He spent most of that time bald and naked because he's being used for pattern drafting and wig-making-and-modeling...

I've been lurking on this thread for ages, loving all the pics!!! I think I'm now obsessed with minifees!!

Here's my Celine she's finally finished! (Except shoes )

 

@Dustbunnie, the scar head was my original choice for Noble, but decided I wanted a "puffy" scar (besides, it can easily be removed).

 

I have this guy, he's a Nanuri 2014. I don't take that many pictures of him because the poor thing is being neglected ;____; (I need to finish cutting his wig and make him some clothes!)

I have two boys right now (who both need to get out for more photoshoots)... though they may not be super helpful.

Ed's a Shiwoo, which is one of the "no longer available" heads. (Which stinks, I love the Shiwoo sculpt!)

And Al (link: Here ) is the Sarang event head, most commonly seen as a girl.

I think my summer goal will be to see if there's a good photo spot nearby, and get everyone out for some new shoots!

 

I received photos of my newly reVAMPed Seorin, Riyan, today!! Super stoked! He's soooooooo much more moodier than the old sculpt I had for this OC (MNF Kyle)! I'm sure Katarina will still love/hate him just the same. :P

@vicemage I was so surprised Shiwoo was one of the discontinued sculpts! I'd always thought those were fairly popular, but I guess they haven't been lately... My sister's girl is a Shiwoo, it's such a cute and versatile little face... (Sarang as a boy works unexpectedly well!)

@crazykimochi I always love your dolls! (and I agree Seorin has a great potential for moodiness!)



Pete again, because this is just a really good angle on his features... even if it's a picture from his being mid-faceup. The last shot I shared just didn't show off his face very well, though it was a good shot for displaying that non-ab body. (I am just a sucker for the soft boy tummy, like... the abs are nice but they definitely aren't right for Pete)

 

Akara I didn't know you had a MiniFee boy but he's cute!

Which stinks, I love the Shiwoo sculpt! vicemage I couldn't agree more. I really wanted a tan one. SIGH!

There's just something about Shiwoos, aren't there? Here's my Shiwoo Roeskva - although she's a girl or rather a woman. (She has 4 kids although one is adopted.)

I was really surprised that it didn't come back, too! And really glad I'd gotten mine when I did. (I ordered not too terribly long before the "maintenance" started on them.) It used to be one of the most popular sculpts, I'm surprised that they'd say there isn't enough demand anymore. (And Sarang was a lucky get here; I didn't originally want it from the event items until I realized it would fit well as Ed's brother. As soon as I realized that, it was sealed, I just had to get his body--he's actually a hybrid to make him a bit taller.)

I really hope they bring the sculpt back, I'd love to see what you'd do with a tan one! Your Roeskva is beautiful. (And I love seeing Shiwoos of any gender around! And any color... age... size...)

 

I'm so happy that I've been able to catch a Nanuri 17 for a really low price (Before it might raise), I always missed Ivy, my modded MNF Shushu. I hope she'll be a great reincarnation !

They all look so great together! And it looks like Roeskva has her hands full with a crew like that. (I have a LittleFee and Delf Shiwoo here, but they ended up different sizes of the same character. I do really want a PukiFee Shiwoo too though, but need to buy some other dolls first.)

@Amelis she's a cutie! I love her faceup, and those eyes are so lifelike, too!


Pete hanging out in his shorts between pants fittings and getting a wig cap made (hence his being bald). I just really like the pose I got out of him-- he's using the chair back to support himself, but he's also got all his weight on one foot on the pillow. So it's semi-assisted, but the contrapposto...

(He was also helping me with a shirt fitting when he was nearer at hand than Vince, but he's just too skinny for it... he's been a busy guy, and it seems like whenever I set him down between dolly crafts, he strikes a pin-up pose)

 

Here are my boys, Victor (Tika) and Yuri (Halloween Event Head)! They are a work in progress at the moment, but for now just chilling in some casual clothes. I love Minifee boys! I also have a MNF Ruth (The Doctor).

By the way, @Anneko I absolutely love Pete's shorts!

 

Can I have some Woosoo spam? Double points if it's a boy I decided, I need a Woosoo boy in my life and need some inspiration!

How's the poseability between the 3 male types of bodies? I'm mostly interested in the Moe line. Any advice would be appreciated~

@Midnightferret Ah, your Viktor is really lovely-- I don't think I'd ever looked at that sculpt before, but now... wow, what a handsome boy!

I believe that Pete's shorts originally came off a Dora the Explorer doll... I got them from someone at a meet ages ago who was looking to get rid of various little bits and pieces they didn't use, but iirc there were these tween-version-of-Dora dolls at Target around that time where one of them had those shorts. They're so perfect for just having something to pop on between pants fittings, since I don't want to wrestle him in and out of his good pants in order to let him try WIPs on. But sometimes he just wears them because they're ridiculously cute for a preppy bottom. (I wanted them to go with his bright pink polo shirt... but instead he keeps wearing them with crop tops stolen off teddy bears)


More bald pinup looks... (I need to finish making wigs so he won't be bald in every picture I take of him... but he's not letting it slow him down in the flirt department)

 

I have a Woosoo! She's the vamp elf version, and she is a she, but I personally believe the sculpt is awfully cute boy or girl and elf or human!
