Gorgeous photo without sun! Amazing and I love it!

 

She is so cool! I love how unique she is, and her eyes suit her really well
Like blackcat87 said, she really does look like she stepped right out of a tim burton movie!

Just wanted to share my Sia, I don't share her often but I'm slowly working on making her more "mine".
I bought her as a full set, but I couldn't really connect with her. But now I'm changing her look a bit, buying her new clothes and eyes and I'm connecting more and more I saw mako released new eyes, so I bought some of those! Hope they will look nice on her. For now she is wearing nanuris eyes, who is away to get her face up done.
Anyone else having trouble connecting with full set dolls?

@Sheenny, Yes! I purchased a full set one time and couldn't ever really click with her. She was the F60 steam age Rin and I ended up selling her. I thought I didn't like the sculpt, but lately I've been looking at her pictures and wishing I had her back. Maybe I just couldn't get past that "not-really-mine" feeling.

Edit: I forgot to add that I think your Sia is beautiful! Those are lovely eyes on her and I hope there's not an argument when the original owner returns and wants them back!

 

I hate to admit this but..... I bought the fullset Liria and couldn't bond with her. I don't think it was her fullset though. As beautiful - and limited - as she was I knew she'd be better off with someone who appreciated her more.

 

I love fullsets. But I've discovered I still redress them and just keep the bits I like best. The rest of the outfit gets put away.

@stuartsmycat Thank you! They are great eyes indeed, and I've grown to like them on her, but I want something softer to go more with her face up I hope they will look good on my nanuri once they get back, if not, Sia might gets to keep them haha. And I hope you get your Rin back that you will love.

@brightberry Thank you! The more I restyle her, the more I fall in love with her I bought the skirt as I liked it, not really planned for her, but it turned out really well ^^

Yay! Thanks~ I'm glad so many people like her look. I was going for sweet and innocent but with an edge. She's the girl with a heart of gold... but you wouldn't want to cross her! Hehe

 

How about an oldie pic? I need to take new pics of the boys since Chrom has joined them! I will once Riyan (Seorin) comes back with his vampy fangs and new faceup as well as Chrom's new eyes!

They aren't super articulate, they function like a lower-grade single-jointed doll~ But they're so cute, how can you resist! XD

Yay boy spam!

Does anyone have a Mir/Mika in particular? I'm thinking that might be the right sculpt for a character I've been wanting to shell the past couple years (plus I'm pretty sure Seorin would work for his partner... Fairyland sure knows how to get you-- I've been thinking for ages that it would be impossible to get these two to work out in resin, but I should have known that MNFs would be the answer)

@Nightshade Such a handsome group (with the coordinated color palette of their outfits, they kind of look like a boy band, I love it)! And oh man, seeing a Mika in the same shot as a Seorin... yeah, those two would definitely look good as a duo... (Levi's modding is definitely working for him, he's such a cutie! And that wig is great on him, too)

Thank you, the colour palette was unintentional but so funny once they were all standing together. The Mika/Mir sculpt is amazing and so versatile and I love his wig. I look forward to seeing your two boys together.

It's a fruit basket, I'm pretty sure it's from pier one imports, though I'm sure other stores have the same or similar.

Does anyone have the MNF spring event head? I bought one secondhand not long ago and I'm curious to see what people have done with the sculpt. I'm thinking I might trade her for a Nanuri17 or sell her and get one, I'm just not sure if the event head will work as well as the Nanuri17. Please help XD

 

Can't help you there I'm afraid, it's a generic acrylic! I can't really even remember where it came from - I have this sneaking suspicion it was one of a pair that my friend had, as he only wears one of them - if you wanted to know about the eye he has behind his scar, then I can remember that one. (The other half of both pairs is worn by his twin.)

I'd hazard to guess it's one of the now discontinued Glib Acrylic eyes. They had a series dubbed "aurora" (at least by Denver doll) that was really interestingly colored. It's got the exact same splash of amber around the pupil that the few i own have.

The wig she is wearing will be her actual wig, but goes into an updo with the flowers going through a braid

Here's my ginger Sarang. I just love her cute little smile.

 

I would love to see more Sarang pictures! I'm having the hardest time with a faceup for my Sarang as I have no idea what style I want to do for her. :/

 

The cool thing about Sarang (in my opinion anyway) is that they look great with any style. That's one of the reasons I fell so hard for her.

 

Wild question: does anyone else use those cute little Moe feet on the Active Line girls?

I kind of like how they look on my A-line and since I'm stuck with flat feet on her, I'd rather them be cute little feet (hunting for tan Moe feet might be a pain though) than the bigger A-line feet.

Kind of curious to see if I'm not the only one who prefers the Moe feet.

 

I've had luck with shoes for my Moe line girl, but no luck with the regular flat feet. With this I mean I've found shoes that fit flat feet, but I don't like the aesthetics. I think I'll have to wait for the next event to order those extra heels in tan. Otherwise, I'm stuck barefoot for now. I'm so picky about shoes — how they look and fit, so my options are truly limited.

How big are Moe boy feet? Are they close to the Chic boy feet? If so you could ask in that thread too. They might have suggestions.


I'm also super picky about shoes. I'm not into the super cutesie shoes or the super glamorous heels. And I'm also picky about scale so anything longer than 6cm is kinda a deal breaker. It kinda leaves be in shoe limbo.
