Just want to share my Rheia with you fabulous folks! I decided to name her Britney, after my favorite singer, Britney Spears. She totally reminds me of her!

 

Congrats on her! I am convinced that all MNFs and all other FL sculpts look even better in tan skin. That wig is to die for too!

@Shuklyah - As soon as I saw a tan MNF, I knew I just had to have one. I think I bothered so many folks asking about them! HAHAHAHA! So glad to have both of my girls home! I can't stop staring at them. So freaking cute!

I don't think it has been posted here yet, but yesterday I got my Fairyland order in. The order that also had my event head: Nanuri 2016! I snapped some pictures of it today, you guys might like to see it!
I also had some trouble getting this head on the MNF body, as if the neckhole of this head was a little too small... Did someone else have this too?

I bought my tan VE Woosoo on Tuesday secondhand and in excellent condition with both Moe and Aline feet as well as 8 different pairs of hands. I am so excited she's my Reshell for my main doll

@Bubblefox - Thank you for snapping some photos for us that haven't seen this sculpt in the flesh, yet. It's disappointing to hear that you're having trouble putting the head on a MNF body. You would think that Fairyland's QA team checks things like this before sending them out.

@sammyjo421 Congrats on getting a Woosoo! Woosoo was the first fl doll I had. And even tho I don't have one anymore I have secretly been tempted to get another one. They have the cutest eyes!

@Bubblefox That head is adorable! For some reason I have noticed their event heads are a bit weird. My Soony (Juri 14) has a hard time fitting onto the neck mechanism on my aline bodies, but she seemed to fit on my mline body rather well, but turning the neck part to secure her head in is still a bit on the tight side.

Hey everyone and @Bubblefox, regarding the most recent event..... did you order directly from fairyland or through Denver dolls? When did you order? That is, if you don't mind me asking

I ordered through Denver dolls. the order went through oddly and I did not receive confirmation of my order from them other than when I emailed them directly asking if they received my PayPal payment. I have never ordered from them before so I am not sure how they do their invoicing /payments. I don't want to be that person who emails them repeatedly about their order progress.

I ordered on the 6th of January, just wondering when you ordered and if you have received a shipping notice

 

I (well, my sister) got the Nanuri head as part of a group order, and yeah, it doesn't even come close to fitting onto the Active Line body I got.... my Juri14/Soony head was also a tight fit, but I managed to juuuust barely fit it on there - I can't turn the neck mechanism at all, but her head's on snug enough that I'm not worried about it - but the Nanuri head won't fit without some serious modding.

Also, on that note - my minifee Soony finally has a body!!! And she finally got her wig in, so here's Hester.



Also, a question for y'all who own minifees and other dolls - do minifees just have small heads compared to other dolls? I just got in my Leekeworld order with Hest's 7-8 sized wig and she's swimming in it. My other two dolls are bluefairies and I thought their huge noggins were standard, but now I'm not so sure. Would 6-7 wigs fit better??

 

6-7s fit best on my girls, so I'd go that way. Your girl is so cute!

@Angel kat, You might try taking a look over in the waiting room thread. Here's the link. They usually have the most up to date info on shipping times

 

The only leeke wig I own eats my DES's head even with a wig cap and hers is the biggest noggin I have. Plus my understanding is that minifee heads have been getting smaller over the years, not drastically but at least noticeably. So given the stretch of leeke wigs you indeed might have been better off with 6-7.

 

@obaa-chan It looks like you and I might have the same style wig on our Soonys! Here's a picture of Alea in it:



I have the bangs pushed up, but the wig has full bangs. Anyway, this is the 6-7 and while it does fit, it's snug on her. You can see that it kind of floofs out on the sides of her head and I was thinking that might be because it's slightly too small. I was actually planning on going up to a 7-8 for her so good to know that might not work.

 

I think it depends on when the sculpt was made as to the size of the wig, my Shushu, Ruth and Seorin (old sculpts) all need 7-8 size wigs, and then Halloween head and Mika use 6-7. RFA sculpt can use either depending on the make of the wig.

 

I think so too! Leekeworld W-129? I have the 7-8 size on her and it's, well. A little big.



....to say the least. It looks decently fine on my BlueFairy Tommy, but she can't wear it without a beanie. Which fits her character well enough in the end, but it's a little annoying, especially after how long I waited for the wig to get in!! Ah well, live and learn.

 

@obaa-chan I bought it second hand, so I'm not sure of the style number, but they definitely look like the same style. After looking at yours though, I'm seeing the same thing on the sides where it pops out a little from the head, so maybe the 6-7 isn't too small after all and I just need to style it a bit. In any case, it's a shame you waited and then it wasn't perfect. Even though I love the colors and styles of Leekeworld wigs, I've moved away from them mostly because I find that they're tricky to size correctly.

 

I have a few Leekeworld wigs and find that 6/7 fits well.

The head is indeed very cute! I don't know it it's my cup of tea, but it def. is cute A small sanding job with the dremel fixed the problem. It fits well on the neck mech now

About the Nanuri 2016 here are some clear pictures of the problem. The neck hole is way too small for the neck mech on the body (here a A-line body). I sanded it a bit down with the dremel on the inside and now it fits well and tight. It took me a bit of work, but I think it's worth it. It's a cute head

Jumping in on the wig size discussion from way up the page - it really depends on the doll's head, the brand of the wig, and probably the phase of the moon. I have a shushu who swims in a leeke 7/8, but of the two 6/7 leeke wigs I have, only one fits. At the same time I have two 6/7 monique wigs in 6/7 that are the exact same style just in different colors, and only one of them will fit on my minifees' noggins.

And to fill @Nikki'sNewObsession 's request for spam - I looked through all my minifee pics, and despite having several I seem to only have one picture with more than one in the shot. I'll have to work on that! Not really a couple, but a couple of minifee anyway.

I was hesitant to share my new girl because she doesn't have her own body yet, but she's so pretty that I feel like she should be posted everywhere. She's currently borrowing my Doll Leaves Lilith's body (with some technical maneuvering so that her head will stay on without the neck mechanism) and while the resin match is not perfect and the neck looks too short, it sort works for the time being.

She's a Minifee FLAM head and I already love her Her name is Rosemary. I want to get her a darker brown wig and darker grey or black eyes. I can't wait to get her her own body so I can start sewing for her.

 

This head lay in the closet long time. But few day ago my friend give me eyes and wig. She hasn't faceup, but she's so cute.
