btw: I saw that you can order a Fairyline Basic like the alla cart.
But there are only a few heads avaidable

I tought that the normal MNF heads would fit on the Fairyline body and vice versa

 

I just got my Fairyline Rendia, myself, but it's my understanding that only the smaller heads can fit on the neckpiece?

 

You can see a blank shot of the head in the MiniFee a la carte at Fairyland's site. Personally looking at his blank head I think he's more similar to Kai than to Karsh.

LOL That tend to happen with Fairyline dolls. I mean that they keep increasing the numbers. It's something they put in the resin that makes you addicted. I also think they teach all their dolls before shipping them out to work on influencing their new owners to get more Fairyland dolls.

Repeat after me: I need more Fairyland dolls. I need more Fairyland dolls. I need more Fairyland dolls.

Actually, the Fairy Line body is compatible with most MNF heads except the smaller ones. If you go to Fairyland's page for Rendia Basic, it says this:

Please note that Fairyline body is NOT compaitlbe with Mir/Mika and Risse heads that are smaller than regular sized MNF heads.

I went through the whole thread earlier, looking for boys, and ended up in love with all the Luka girls! I just ordered one for myself, blank (she will go to AngelToast for her faceup), and I'm so excited! So thank you to everyone who posted their beautiful Luka girls!!!

I also ordered a Celine, also blank.

I need to start planning their looks and such. Fun!!!

Just wanted to share! My Rendia got new eyes a few days ago and I love them Just working on her new wig now.

@jannmakesthings thank you! They actually have a purple edge around them aswell, but it mostly shows the blue on the photo. I got them through aliexpress and they came in several colours. I can find the shop if you'd like

Oh everyone's dolls are lovely. They always bring a smile to my face. Here's my new Yder I would like to share some spam of. I went to my first meet on Saturday and it was soooo fun!

I've been working on Sara's wardrobe lately. Her sneakers came in the mail today. I'd made her some skirts and tshirts and leggings and one spring dress but she really liked this the best. I got some lace weight yarn at Goodwill in a yarn grab-bag and it made a nice slouchy beanie and infinity scarf. I'm making an additional set for her future twin (a Chloe I'll name Sonja) in cream.

I changed her wig out as well. She did have a long, blonde 'do with blunt-cut bangs. But this Monique Gold Misty works really well on her. It's funny because I originally got it for Charlie (my Littlefee) but she wanted to be a ginger. The eyes I originally had in Charlie, too. Maybe the character that I wanted in Charlie manifested itself in Sara.

 

I saw this on Facebook! I really love her outfit - so cute. Wish I could sew like that!

 

Oh thank you! It's the accessories that make it. They distract you from all of my sewing flaws.

You can sew! I'm not that good, really. Though I will say I have improved through just plain practice. The t-shirt is the Pixie Faire Ellowyne pattern (I made it shorter). The leggings pattern I got from Antique Lilac (I didn't add the toe and I just sewed further in on the leg to make them skinnier). I got the fabric for those from old T-shirts my daughter grew out of. The skirt is just two pieces of denim I cut out the width of her hips, added some decorative stitching to make it look like a jean skirt, I hemmed it, I added a waistband with elastic and sewed it up the back. I did crochet the beanie and scarf and I can share that pattern if you like, they barely need one because they are pretty simple though.

Do you mean her faceup? I know mine is pretty much (okay, a LOT) on the orange side.



The photo doesn't do justice to the orange tone of the faceup. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to tone down in photos (this photo isn't edited).

 

Yes, I meant her face-up. Sorry, I tried to do a multi-reply to the others who queried my post, but I'm not sure that it has worked. There's much more orange than I was expecting - orange cheeks, chin, lips, bridge of her nose - her eyeshadow even goes up into her eyebrows! I love everyone's photos of her but it's just a bit much for me in real life. Perhaps I'll just have to play with her look a bit more.

 

@CathyM and @smudge , oh, that makes sense now. I haven't seen her faceup IRL, I ordered mine blank. That sounds like a lot of orange.

Mine will be waiting for her faceup for a while. My nanuri13 needed a new body and stole it, and she (nanuri13) looks great now.

Rendia is supposed to be my Mirwen's sister, who is on an m line body, so I may order an a line w model legs for Rendia. I think they look a lot alike but there are still differences, which pleases me. They both have very small eyes, though. I'm just trying to decide on hair and eye color for Rendia before I send her for a faceup.

Thanks! This is her temporary room on my bookshelf. I'm looking into getting a cabinet to make into a dollhouse for her.

My modded Sia arrived today, which was a huge relief as I thought she was lost in the post. I can't wait to take photos of her. I'm smitten. I'm so much happier with her new eye shape.

 

I was wondering if anyone had Monique wigs that they were using for their minifees? I have 2 girls who need new hair and wasn't sure if I should get 6-7 or 7-8. I have a Shushu and a Nanuri13 if that helps!

 

I use 6-7 Monique wigs for my Mirwen and Sia and they fit perfectly,hope that helps!

My Celine is currently wearing a 6-7 Monique Gold wig. I had a Rin for a while that took a 6-7 wig too.
