I really hope this is the right place to ask this (and if it is not, I am deeply sorry and if someone will point it out I will remove this comment entirely) but is anyone here capable of helping me do a price check on my minifee? I may sell mine though I honestly have no idea how much for. I looked through the MP but found no helpful threads and was wondering if someone would be kind enough to help me? It would be greatly appreciated, and again if I am in the wrong I am so sorry, I will delete immediately.

 

Ooh I saw Nanuri on eBay and was drooling so happy for you!! I was able to finally get a second hand chloe head but no body yet thinking of maybe trying a less expensive body for now... Anyone have any suggestions?

 

Have you also tried checking the marketplace graveyard? Its the last section at the bottom of the marketplace subforum. Finished threads from the last 6 months are kept there, so you might be able to find ideas there.

 

Since I haven't been able to get any responses anywhere else (even in a resin compare thread here and in a comparison group on Flickr), I'll crosspost this question here. I would love to see some resin color comparison between FairyLand Natural and WithDoll Normal, and also between FairyLand Beautiful White and WithDoll White or WithDoll Cream White (I've already found a good comparison with Fairyland BW and WD Rose White, the one I did see already was a MNF).

 

I'd love to help but the WDs I have are real, brown tan, and grey. So I can't help with that. You can also ask in the Withdoll thread if you haven't already. ^.^

 

I'm back at university now and I'm finally going to suede my girl! She's strung so tightly, I hope this helps a bit.

 

Christina in FL I've got a WD normal skin boy, I can do a skin comparison with one of my NS MNF for you tomorrow ^^ ( I'll try not to forget it ).

 

Hey guys, looking for second and third opinions before I make a decision. I got my tan moe boy Liria today and he is covered in light scratches all over his body. Some places are worse than others, but they're all very obvious. DDE has informed me my only options are keep him or return him for a full refund. But he's a limited sculpt that I want! >_<

Anyone else experience this or have insight with tan dolls? Btw, Liria makes a fantastic boy.

 

Can you show us a picture of the scratches? Its possible they are easily fixable. If theyre really small, its possible you could use a very fine grit of sandpaper to sand them down and make them invisible.

Edit: ack, nevermind, just saw it was a tan doll >.< Sorry

 

Can you post pictures of the scratches? There are areas of the dolls that get seam lines and it seems FL is trying to please others with sanding them down.

Can someone tell me if the A-line chest piece is compatible with the Moe-line body?

 

It should be - I believe when the Moe body was first released, they did a promo where you could order hybrid bodies.

@PChu Ohno D:! This may be too extreme a route, but you could try to sell the body at a discount and then get another body in the next tan event??? But I don't know the extent of the damage or when the next tan event will be (which could be a good while). Or if they're really REALLY light I would try to put some MSC (or your preferred sealant) on him and then paint lightly over it with some acrylic paint.

 

Are there any news about the mermaid / seahorse girls ? Im sooo exited about them

 

Does anyone know please if Leeke World 6-6,5 wig will also fit MNF. I know it should be 7-8 but they don't have it in that size. So I was hoping 6-6,5 will also fit. If you have a picture of a mnf wearing a 6-6'5 it would be wonderful thanks.

It fits perfectly, but the hair is shorter than it would have been in 7-8 as it is scaled to a smaller doll. I've heard the fit can be different for different style wigs, though, so keep that in mind. For this one, 7-8 would have been too big on her

 

lillyroos I have used leeke 6-6,5 wigs on mnf without any problems so they do fit

I agree Sophie, there aren't many painted RFA heads around, too bad !

 

For Christina in FL and other ones who wanted a resin comparison pic between the FL Normal Skin and Withdoll Normal skin, here is my contribution :

This two dolls aren't new, so their resin's colors have a little changed, but not very much. The Fairyland one is a little more peachy than the Withdoll NS , but I think it's because my MNF is a little older than my WD boy. IMO the two resins match pretty well.

Does anyone else have seams on the round knee joint? The part under the knee cap? I just noticed it on my girl, one knee looks sanded but the other looks like a crack! I think it's just a seam but I'm kind of worried.

 

I can't wait to see her with eyelashes! I have such a hard time loving dolls without eyelashes, but she looks very promising.

Heh, yea. Eyelashes are a pretty big deal for me. Not having them is almost as bad as not having eyebrows. The face just looks off.

 

Puppedoll, your RFA girl is beautiful! I especially love the subtle freckling, it looks so natural. Looking forward to seeing her all finished!

Ooh forgot to ask... I read somewhere that the neck connectors are hard to find. Anyone know if fairyland sells them by request?

And the neck keys are in fact sold separately, and can be purchased either directly from FL, or from their dealers (ie Denver Doll Emporium), which is the option I took to get the piece for my Sarang hybrid (on a Doll-Legend body):

What is this new minifee+real fee that fairyland has on their tistory? If it's a new line that mixes mini fee with real fee quick change system... and brings back the older heads with magnetic headcaps.. maybe even easier change head or faceplates? Who know omg. I want one so bad. Let's hope it's something great. Who am I kidding it'll be awesome. CANNOT WAIT.

My wig possibilities for my Minifee Eliya have arrived. I grabbed a box from the leekeworld wig blast through dde. All the wigs are gorgeous, but not sure which, if any, Tavi will wear. Here's a pic of one - the rest are on my Flickr. I'd love some opinions as to what looks nice on her.
