Yes, of course. I asked Ylang about my second (narrow nose) NF head's order number, and order date, so I can ask Fairyland about the mold change.

Is there a elf-earred Chloe other than the vampire version? Besides ShuShu, are there any other MNF girls who have had elf-earred versions?

 

Besides woosoo, I'm pretty sure you just named them all.
And no, all the elf eared heads are pointy eared vampires, except of course the sculpts that where originally made as elves.

 

There is the Eliya, Woosoo and Kyle from the normal selection that have elf ears, and then there are various event heads that have elf ears.

There's a Soo Dark Elf too. I'm not sure if she was an event head.

 

Thanks for the info! I already have a ShuShu elf, otherwise I'd be tempted with her. I would never ruin a rare Chloe vampire by trying to remove her fangs..... So many of the other elves look too fantasy or too young - the character I have in mind is half human and in her late teens. I might end up getting a Chloe and having her ears modded. Although the Juri/Soony event head is rather cute..... just know sure it's the right sculpt.

 

Do any of you know of anyone that has painted an RFA? I'm not sold on the blank sculpt, but am hesitant to sell it before I see it face-upped.

Poor girl needs a body and lots of other stuff. What have I done? Chloe is still on order/layaway with DDE and now I have two to provide for. But she's just so pretty!

I have elf Siean too! The body my RFA is using was intended for her. They'll have to share it as it's my only female MNF body right now. XD She is also currently blank.

Whoa, the thing that threw me off the most was that the turnkeys face opposite directions. But the turnkey is a lot more easily explained than the sculpt differences. Between the two, I think I prefer the aesthetic of the one with the wider nose.

 

Ooh that list of all event heads is pretty useful! Can I request spam of event heads please? Any really, but especially Sarang, that's my favorite! :3

I really like the elves, too. I'm somewhat tempted to get a SP of Soo Dark Elf and mod her to look older. She just seems way too young as is.

 

I feel like the MiniFee RFA head reminds me vaguely of a Disney/Pixar character... but I haven't quite figured out who just yet!

 

I was kinda thinking Jessie from Toy Story, but I'm not 100% on that, lol!

 

I was thinking rapunzel from tangled maybe? I wanted to paint my RFA but I had some family trouble and sealer trouble. I think I could attempt to make her look like rapunzel. Tangled is one of my favorite Disney films.

Wow I am so glad that i've been saving up for the next Fairyland event, though just from that teaser I already get the feeling my whole plans will be changed...and if those plans include a Merperson tail I am not even mad in the slightest asdfghjkl-

 

Oh my gosh! How exciting. I can't wait to see what the MiRealFees will be! I'm not usually tempted to purchase anthros, but these may push me over the edge and into new territory. Can't wait!!

What is your version of a selkie? In every mythologies I've read and heard about them, they are seals that can remove their skins to become human. I don't get how a mermaid tail would work for that as a fish tail looks completely different to a seal. You'd have to do a lot of modding (especially if it's a seahorse mnf like in the pic). Just curious!

I'm very happy I bought the Nanuri 13 head. I've been looking at lots of owner pics, and she seems a lot younger than how I see Chloe. When I placed the layaway order for Chloe I chose the m line body, but now I'm wondering if the Nanuri should get the m line body and I could order an a line body for Chloe. Decisions.

I have a ton of clothing on my etsy and eBay watch lists as I try to figure out a beginning point for their styles.

The new event is pretty exciting!! I'd love a mermaid in my dollie's world, especially if they can easily switch to human legs like the Realfees can. That way one of Luna's (my Juri '10) can have a real imaginary friend that's not a creepy demon. Fairyland, why must you do this to me?! I still have to get a Littlefee and F60 body for both of my Soony heads. Lol. :P

 

Mermaid mnf? and mermaid realfee? please let these be orderlable(yeah no a word) later cause my wallet would die, I'm in real danger if fairyland is really going to start making fantasy dolls in other sizes too

 

Looks to me like they're doing a Minifee like version of the Realfee. So probably a body that can have easily changing fantasy parts. I can't wait to see what they look like! It'd be cool if it works with my crew (and although I love the Mermaid, some other fantasy parts would be really cool too!)

 

Omg I've been itching to add a minifee mermaid to my crew anyway, and then BOOM. I'm going to be poor forever.

Oh be still my heart... if that is in fact a naga-styled mini doll, I might be doomed. I've wanted a mini-size naga boy nearly since I started in the hobby, and there hasn't been one yet. And if it's like the RealFee bodies? Even better... augh I was supposed to be saving for LTFs not getting a new MNF... please let them be a good deal on their intro event...

 

I hope they have that new body for boys too. Sea horses are one of my favourite animals and I would make my WS Liria boy into a seahorse in a HEARTBEAT. RIP my bank account.

Thank you! I tried so hard to make him a girl because of all the pretty Sieans out there, but he was insistent. Now I can't see him any other way. It works well because of his larger head/face size, I think.

I'd really like to get a tan Chloe too but the way Fairyland is going with new dolls and event I'll probably never get around to it.

Well, I sold a Tonner doll! Now I just wish the other would sell. I have MNF clothes to buy, not to mention a whole other MNF body that will have to be bought on layaway. But I'm making myself wait while I decide who gets which type of body, plus what their styles will be.

And also a question...she took a short tumble yesterday when I tripped over the table she was standing on trying to find her clothes, and I've found today a small crack just above one of her knees (going up from the lower edge of the upper part of her leg). I don't know if it was there when she arrived (although likely the resin was weak if it did happen when she fell, as I've had dolls survive much more arduous falls without a scratch). Its not a big deal (actually having scars works for the character), I just want to make sure it doesn't get bigger or cause a piece to break off or anything. Any suggestions?

 

I just posted not too long ago about how I wanted to see a mermaid from Fairyland. I can't wait to see what they come up with.

 

When you have marketplace access, you'll find that most dolls you want to get, event head or not, can be found secondhand with enough patience. If you fall in love with an event head, don't despair! You still have plenty of a chance to get one.

Get some fluid superglue, and practice squeezing it onto a pin which you use as a director to "flow" it into the spot you want. Try this on a surface like a scrap of paper. When you're confident with it, flow some of the glue into/over the crack. This is where it's really important that you use the most fluid type of glue, not the gummy or gel type. It is meant to flow into little cracks. also don't breathe the fumes.
In about six hours, after it's had time to cure, you can sand the spot a little bit with some about-800 grit paper to keep it from being glossy. (wear a correct respirator to do this in case of dust from the resin and the glue)

 

I just used some super glue to patch my boy together when he got a crack like that. Just open the crack, dab a little glue in, and put pressure on it for a minute or two. I also put a little on the inside and outside just to make a stronger seal. After his 'surgery' the crack hasn't gotten bigger at all. Hope that helps and good luck!

Thankfully my dad has offered to help me with it - he builds model cars and knows what he is doing with little bits and glue and safety - so hopefully we'll get her patched up the next time I go home for a visit.

I just HAVE TO come to this thread, it's been a while! I used to have quite a few minifees and then ended up selling them due personal matters, but now, after I thought it'd be impossible, I just paid first part of layaway to get my dream-girl back home! I'm getting a minifee Juri 08! I sold mine and regretted it soooo bad, I can't believe I'm getting it back! Not the exact same doll though, but the mold is what matters. WHEE! Here's what my old juri looked like, someone might even remember her, the new one will inherit her name, which is Lillan.
