Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 53

Thank you! I wondered about the wait time.

 

Some orders going to DDE have come in within a month of ordering them. FL has changed how they ship to DDE, rather than wait for an entire set of orders to be done, they are shipping things as they are finished. With fullsets and the like, it can take the extra month, but not always.

 

YOU DID THE THING! WE DID THE THING--I mean congrats, I too have done...THE THING...

I finally decided, after confirming with DDE, to order a tan Liria m-line boy *。ヾ(｡>ｖ<｡)ﾉﾞ*。

And congrats Magical Ghoul! And to everyone who is also getting their first minifees! Also, if you do end up mustering the courage to mod those ears on, good luck!

I was wondering, if there was anyone else thinking of turning the Liria sculpt into a boy? I was thinking of going for natural, but I'm curious about both the Liria sculpt in tan, and the m-line boy body. I want to see and handle both with my hands, that way if I don't like either the skin tone or the sculpt I can always trade~ Or if I end up not liking either in person I can sell. But I've already got plans and a name so I think I'll only have to worry about if I like the sculpt with the m-line boy body or a female body. I'll be in trouble if it ends up being both ; U ;

He's gorgeous! I think I like him more than the standard Mir/ka, though that could just be all the personality coming through from the picture, too.

My MNF mod's still in progress, and won't be hitting his head, but Ed's work is definitely what I'd call major (and I'll be getting back to him as soon as I get the current workbench occupant on sticks). I'm doing some pretty extensive work building up his character's prosthetics, and doing all the carving and sculpting on a MNF is definitely a little intimidating. There's not a lot of work done on him yet (mostly it's been on his LTF counterpart, since the limb structure is a little less defined, so there's a lot less reshaping to do), but there's some peeks at it here.

And congrats to everyone ordering a Liria! She's beautiful, but not for my collection, so I'll be looking forward to admiring what everyone does with her.

I'm hoping to get his leg done over the summer so I can start showing that off (the current project takes a bit of precedence because it needs a long period of just hanging out, or I'd probably already have his leg off to work on it). It's so incomplete that I don't feel quite right showing it off in photos yet (though I have no compunctions about pantsing him at meetups!), but fingers crossed I can do that soon.

Aw, thank you very much! I need to do some closeup portraits with him, but this afternoon's shoot was just to satisfy a dolly-itch and get some pics of him and his friend Moira together. (She's the one occupying his bed in that pic, which is why he ended up on the floor. He doesn't mind; he sleeps anywhere.)

I love your mods! It's Ed!! ( I adored FMA: Brotherhood.) I just now realized I have seen your Littlefee automail mods, which are awesome. The Minifee body is perfect for an Ed doll.

 

I did the thing, too!

I was a bit torn about Liria. On the one hand she reminds me of Celine, who I've wanted in tan for a while now. On the other hand I'm on the fence about her lips.
Seeing as this was a one-time opportunity to easily get her, and at no market inflation, I decided I would give her a try.
I also got a tan Rheia, since I've been wanting her for a long time, too.

My Nickolas is a BW Lishe, but I'm having a heck of a time posting the image from Flickr on my iPad. But it's visible on my Flickr. He mellowed to this creamy color.

Thanks! The LTF's a bit farther along, since I stopped due to a small issue with the joints (I'm still working on that but will attempt something when I set up to work again this week), so he's been shown off a bit more. And that body really is perfect, better than any other I looked at (or tried) for a short, muscular guy. He's the second shortest member of that particular narrative group, with only a tiny girl smaller than him.

 

All my girls wear Ellowyne Wilde outfits. I have no cuties, but both small and large fit. Cutie shouldn't be a problem.

 

It has been raining all day here so finally some sunshine come by and i taked my chance to photograph my dollie outside in my parents garden today!

Why are Minifees so gorgeous! you're guys photos make me want all of them haha. I have a Chloe and Celine on the way currently.

Is it OK if I ask here? I'd like to know the actual measurements of the b-line boy body, since in photos, it is taller than the a-line body, but Fairyland gives them the same measurements.

I kinda have plans for both a girl or a boy in mind, but I'm still wishy washy, I really want that Liria sculpt in my hands. It's hard to get a good sense of features with just photos Dx You can still get a vague sense, but I like handling things in person BAH.

She was in the states and now she's leaving.
I'm very particular about eyebrows and hers were fantastic.

Hi everyone,

I want to buy a minifee but I am stumped on what hands to get. Can someone recommend their favorite hands.

 

[MENTION=53342]kate2kate[/MENTION] I love them all XD but I'd say my favorite are the heart hands, they're very nongenderspecific so they work on all my minifees XD (I need to buy 3 more pairs so I can take pictures of all my minifees together doing that..... Shoot lol)

My favorite are three six and nine. They look extremely elegant and photo ready for just about any shoot! And look wonderful with various poses =]

My current project is on hold for a bit (recoloring project, where the result was RED RED RED instead of the tan I was after), so I'm shuffling pieces and planning to pick up a dremel early next month. I'll be updating my workshop thread with him as soon as he's underway again!

I should find a chance to work on my other full MNF at some point, too, and get some more pictures of my hybrid boy... so many things to do, so little time to do it.

 

for the a la carte i usually start with #3 hands but then i also have extra 6s and 9's to swap out. and if you can afford more than that i'd get #2's &/or 8's as well. i think the 1, 4, 5, and 7's were designed for the boys? but i could be wrong, and they work ok if you have a girl that doesn't have dainty hands.

And if you have reached the dollar amount for an event head where do I find it to put it in the cart. thank you for the help.

 

Points are worth $1 so if you have 30 points then you have $30. If you have more than $10 worth of points you can use them. The option comes up at checkout.
