Fairyland MiniFee MNF discussion part 53

Congratulations to everyone who is able to snag a fullset! Her overall look is very elegant and lovely. I can't wait to see her in tan Since the RealFee came out with their super amazing fantasy parts, a huge part of me is hoping one day in the future they might come out with some for Minifee. I have a lovely character in mind for a more mature faun girl

 

I love Liria's outfit, so pretty. I won't be buying her as I have three new heads that I need to get outfits, eyes and ultimately bodies for! My new Eliya arrived yesterday and I'm smitten. I'm also waiting for ShuShu and a tan Mio mod!! I'm so excited! Congrats to all of you who will be ordering Liria.

 

Ooh, pictures of your Eliya please! I've wanted one for forever and finally have my girl on order, so I'd appreciate any spam I can get!

 

I semi-caved in ..... an al a carte version of Liria (with faceup) will be mine!

I think I'm done buying new Minifees for now - I'm quite happy with my Mio and my Chloe.

I think I'd need to see what people do with Liria before I even bought her, which is why I bough out on this one. I love her look but I am super unsure about it.

 

I bought a Liria fullset last night. I couldn't help myself. She is so perfect! I almost went a la carte but that dress was too pretty to pass up.

 

Congratulations to everyone who is getting a Liria, I can't wait to see her and especially with different customizations !

As for me, I am waiting for an Event RFA head, and I've just bought a body for her on layaway. But then, I'll have to wait for the faceup artist and it's so long !!!

i'm still waiting for my tan Mirwen to come back from the spa, it's been 4 months already, why is it so long ?!
I'm dying here, I've had Mirwen since January and still can't have fun with her ! I had to wait for the faceup slot, then the faceup itself...
So can I have some tan Mirwen spam, please ?

 

Hi everyone! My mirwen is finally home from the spa! I named her Leilani and she is gorgeous! I just had to take a few pictures of her before we go on vacation. I'll take more when I get back. I'm not really feeling this wig, but that's okay because I have two more on the way. I'm also going to play with eye colors and add some lashes when I get back. Big thanks to AngelToast for doing such a wonderful job with the faceup. P.s. It was kinda windy today! I'm just so happy she's all home and in one piece now!! Yay!

 

Woah! the fullsets are sold out already!!
I was still doubting wether to go with the fullset or just a-la-cart, but it looks like the choice has been made for me!

 

i snagged an a la cart Liria in tan skin this morning. (She will be my first Tan skin doll and i think ill name her Lyra, its what i thought her name was at first glance and ive always loved that name)

and here ive been saving up for face ups and clothing for my dolls already here, like i should and fairyland sucks me back in, it never fails.

 

I've just been charged for first payment for liria fullset. DDE is including a gift MF head with it judging by the title of the email *~*

 

Me, too! Is it the RFA head from the Realfee event or a new one? Because the RFA is the only one I can find on the FL website.

I was thinking about a backstory for my girl last night, and it was set in the Regency period like the fullset and I was really pleased. But then I realised that that would mean making all period clothing for the sake of being consistent, which would be a lot of work '-_- . I love the story I was thinking of, but would rather have mostly 'modern' clothes since they would be easier to sew...

 

It will be the RFA head. I snagged one of the Fullsets too and am quiet happy! She is perfect for a character I have and I just couldn't pass her up!

 

Congrats to everyone who managed to grab a Fullset Liria that doll sold out so fast! I'm super excited because my first ever Fairyland order has shipped out and I only ordered her two weeks ago! Which was a huge shock to me, HECK she landed in London YESTERDAY which happened to be my Birthday XDD Happy dolly day!!

 

My girl Dillon came back home today from her first faceup. I'm so excited!!

 

Lol I just saw your girl on Facebook! I commented on your post saying that the doll I ordered that has shipped is the exact same sculpt as your Dillon, The face up artist did a great job too, I hope I do a good job with my girl XD

I went with an ALC for Liria. LOVE her full set but I couldn't justify getting it knowing I'd want to customize her, and when I saw she came with the full bust that was a dealbreaker. Nothing wrong with the larger boobs, but they're not for me. Congrats to everyone who managed to get a Liria full set! I'll live vicariously through your photos when they start arriving. (•‿•)

 

Can anyone help me think of a name for my new girl? Shes's a Halloween event head. Her wig isn't in yet. @_@;

Congrats to those getting Liria! I must pass on her as I'm trying -not- to expand my doll family more, lol! She's really gorgeous though!!! I did manage to get her dress via a split~ It'll be perfect for Zephii since she's a princess (married to Brink)!

And for more good news, my new Sebastian is home! Kyle-version Sebastian has flown off to a new home (twice now) already!

I've always thought that Chloe and Celine were the most popular Sculpts, is there others people think are? Liria is obviously one now haha

Me too! My MNF Emily Thorne will be a tribute to one of my all time favourite shows. I'm actually thinking my Liria might actually be the right sculpt for her, I'll see when she gets here. I ordered her in natural skin for that reason but I just know I'm going to regret not being able to get a tan Liria as well once I see owner pics in that colour >.<

Thank you! Its no problem at all - the tan Chloe is on the Moe body with the smaller bust option, and the ns Mio is on the Active line body with cutie legs and large bust.

A friend of mine wants a head sculpt for an older boy body that she has and is looking outside the box. Can I get some spam of boys, especially boys created from girl sculpts (Mirwin, Rheia, Lishe, etc)? Bonus points if they are in BW, but any skin tone is appreciated!

Liria is so amazing, and her full set is for me one of the most beautifull full set that Fairyland had realized!..So of course I ordered it, but just few days after Realfees release, it's very hard to save up money, I'm gonna eating potatoes all summer

 

Does anyone who got Liria know what the event head is? Is it the RFA head from the realfee event?

Hello! Advise needed...I had MNF Active line cutie bust and legs in the past. I am thinking about ordering Liria A La Carte. I would like thoughts on active line versas moe line. Also, cutie legs/model legs. It is hard to tell the difference in photos. Thanks!

 

You won't be able to buy Liria on FL anymore because she sold out already! At least thats what I heard.

Active line is taller and sits up straighter/easier than Moe line. But Moe line is super cute and has a really adorable profile and it's a shorter body but it can do all sorts of cute poses.

What is the average wait time for Fairyland? Does the wait time make a difference when ordering direct or from DDE?

Make your mind up quickly, Oliveoil, there is a limit of 200 a la Carte Liria girls. I have the Moe body and it is lovely but smaller than the standard MNF body and I find slim mini clothes I have are on the whole a little big on her.

 

No difference in wait time. Average is 3-4 months but recently I've seen some people saying they're getting their order in a month - 1 and a half! Which is pretty amazing especially for FL. The pros of buying through DDE is you don't pay international shipping, but if you buy directly through FL you get their points.

I've always been partial to cutie legs but I've heard people say that model legs are more stable for posing. I wanted the adorable aesthetic of the bow legs cuz they're just like mine xD

Does anyone else have modded Minifees? I mean besides just opening or closing eyes- major mods? Arkady is a very modded Mir/ka.

 

Love the work you've done on him! I always wanted a head I could play with so I could mod it. I wanted to try out piercings, stretched ears, various things with apoxy.

 

Aw, thank you! So few people mod minifees that I wasn't sure how people would feel about him.

 

Noble's mod isn't "major" perhaps, but it is unique. He's a sleeping Kyle with eyes modded open - one of them only partially open and a raised scar added. Modding and faceup by the magnificent [MENTION=27710]BanSidhe[/MENTION].

I honestly love both bodies, but they both have pros and cons. The thing that bothered me about cutie legs is that they were uneven, so I would choose model over cutie (I have both). And then the ONLY thing that really bothers me about moe is that she can't sit properly, lol~ She leans back xD;; I LOVE moe's height though! So cute~

I just ordered my first minifee/bjd with the a line body and Rin sculpt ;3 I absolutely love the Rin sculpt...its probably my favourite from Fairy Land! I think Liria is really beautiful but eh....not really my type xD In my story my girl is supposed to be an elf/fairy so I'm gonna have to modd some elf ears on her but I'm too scared to go into modding ;-;

I've ordered through both FL and DDE at the same time. DDE is about an extra month wait time, since FL sends orders in batches to DDE, instead of the individual orders shipping out as soon as they're done.
