I find the Moe boy body is easier to pose too. It's so graceful and manageable. The A-line muscular body and I argue all the time. I'm never certain what to do with him. Plus I have such a hard time finding boy clothes, in general, and yellow hues and shades in specific. DX

Kick was my first MNF and his character was the first imp I created too! I picked the Carl sculpt because it reminded me of the Nanuri 08. I think I might want to reshell him into a tan Carl. I've had a hard time deciding on what his face paint should look like and have been dissatisfied with him a lot lately. DX I think if I can find him the right wig it will help. He's so difficult to get right! Rust was so easy!

Does anyone else have that problem? Can't quite figure out what's wrong with a doll? Doesn't quite fit what you expected?

I had a 7-8 Monique wig (Jojo) on my Rheia and it slides all over the place. I'm not sure the size difference between Rheia and Ryeon though.

 

I love Thalia's new wig!! She's soooooo cute, and i think she suits the little pigtails really well!
Has anyone else managed to get any snags outside recently? It's been raining loads here in the UK and me and Thalia just got chased inside by the first spit spots of another downpour... I was terrified of her getting wet so I practically sprinted inside XD

 

Just a quick drive-by since I just got Alphonse put back together. He's finally faceupped and blushed, and I'm moving on to the next doll in the backlog!

it would be a bit loose, but the hair will also be a little too long without trimming it

 

My Ryeon wears a 6-7 nicely. 7-8 was too big, even with a wig cap it looked too big since their wig caps are very stretchy. If you're looking at the Jojo, though, I suggest 7-8 since it's the only wig I know of that doesn't have much stretch to it.

He was sort of a happy chance ending up here (I originally meant to keep the LTF faceplate from the order, but had no plans for it, and the other person sharing the order did have plans, so I re-evaluated MNF Sarang and realized how perfect he was for my Shiwoo's brother). I hope to see a few more male Sarangs around, but the girls are gorgeous too!

He's lovely! If I had a way to work another MNF into my plans, I'd be tempted, thanks to that picture.

I have a question for anyone who can pleeeeasse help me. To Rheia owners, do any of you own crobi wigs? My rheia swims in the 7/8 size but I've had the 6/7 wigs before and I just can't imagine it fitting rheia's head.... any input on this for sizing?

 

I don't own any Crobi wigs unfortunately, but my Rhiea does wear a 6/7 wig from leekeworld and it fits perfect! The wig cap is stretchy which is why I think she can wear it. Have you tried putting a 6/7 wig cap under the 7/8 wig? I had to do that with my Mirwen before. Hope this helps some what >.<

 

Thanks for the info! I don't own anything in 6/7 size anymore and I didn't want to invest any money into it before getting some idea that it would actually work/fit. Crobi wigs seem to be stretchy depending on the style haha.

 

Senra wears a 6/7 wig from Crobidoll (which I originally purchased for my littlefee, but she stole it)

It's a bit snug, as the cap that I have isn't very stretchy and I use a wigcap with it to prevent staining. Putting it on is a bit of a struggle sometimes, but without a headcap it fits fine. It requires a bit if pulling and tugging near the ears to get it on, but when it's on it doesn't go anywhere! Rheia's have a 7 1/16 inch head size, so a 7/8 wig may be a bit on the big size, yet a 6/7 might be snug. I'm waiting for a new wig for her, which I ordered in a 7/8 but I have a bigger wigcap so I hope it'll fit well. If not, then she's just going to steal my little girls wigs again!
I absolutely love Crobidoll wigs by the way. They hold their model so well, shed very little and feel wonderfull. I'm a big fan ^^

I took some time over the past few days to work on my Celine's face up! I'm content with it at the moment, but I'm sure I'll change it in a few weeks...I'm gonna try to make her lips a bit less saturated next time. XD I also think I'm gonna go with the name Ophelia - what do you guys think? Does she look like an Ophelia?? XD

Thanks for that info! I'm a big fan of Crobi wigs myself... about 90% of my wigs are from Crobi xD but the thing I'm concerned with is getting a short boyish wig. The longer wigs I can get away with just pulling the cap of the wig over the ears and the tendrils cover that up anyway, but if the wig is short and too small, I'm worried I'll have a lot of bald forehead showing lol. Right??? I had Risse in NS and I was so in love with her, but I knew right away, she had to be WS. Only thing that sucks about it is I have a very specific character in mind for her that is very petite and small chested, so I want a small bust moe body, but every one I've seen on the MP has been in NS and I'm admittedly terrified of pulling apart the minifee body to swap out the bust and restring. But as soon as I pay off my two layaways, that Risse is my plan *^*

 

You could always send her to someone to restring! Or have someone at a meet do it if they're experienced with restringing!! It's too bad FL doesn't offer small busts with their moe-line >.<!! Makes things so difficult.

I'm with you there though - I am NOOOTTT looking forward to ever having to restring those bodies. @_@; It stresses me out just thinking about it XD

 

I was thinking about that i could send her off to be restrung with the bust i want, but i feel losery for it xD plus there is also having to buy another body.. i have another girl in mind to pair with her, but i wanted that girl in NS on a-line... :\ will have to think about that

Buying another to pair would be pretty annoying...-_-; Maybe sometime down the road you'll suddenly need another BW mnf and BOOM there ya go. XD

 

So, I have been despicably absent for an extended period of time (life, school, etc...), but MNF always seem to creep back in... I still drop in to creep on conversation from time to time, but I finally have someone I can contribute with

lol I suppose so... luckily the minifees are light enough that it wouldn't cost much in shipping to send them off for that. Maybe I'll have to start looking around to see who does that kind of thing so I can contact them when I'm ready. I always keep an eye out for a good wig or eyes for her when I have her. I've been wanting some really pale blue/grey eyes and I'm back on forth on stark white or pale grey hair. Your girl really looks amazing though, are those mako amaryllis eyes in her? I've been wanting that color for one of my sd girls, but everything I look at is too dark or just something is off, but that color is so perfect.

 

Just ordered a tan Ante on the M-line body! And the event Rin head will go to the headless M-line body I've got lying around! So I will get two girls in one go. They'll be my first Minifees!

It's always difficult to import anything to the UK, if it's not sky high postage, it's import tax and I have to get things from elsewhere because they aren't sold in the UK! The joys of being a collector
